While engaged in these events his name recognition grew and attendees began requesting he write a book explaining Revelation; that the lay person could read and understand. While the idea intrigued him, his time to devote to it was limited because of his other duties. After his retirement, his wife, Bernice encouraged him to write that book to fulfill those requests.
