Sammy snail was enjoying the sun when suddenly things took a turn for the worse! Snails really don't like the rain! But it takes Sammy on an exciting journey to a new life!
The inspiration for my book "Sammy" took place early in the morning around 5:30am when I was leaving for work. I was walking down the sidewalk when a snail was crossing in front of me. I could tell there was something on top of his shell, so I stooped down to take a closer look. I couldn't believe my eyes. It was a rolly polly hitching a ride on the snail's back! And their adventure begins...
The Adventures of Katrina the Rhythmic Gymnast Fairy by Mariah-Cantone-Basile Pdf
The Adventures of Katrina the Rhythmic Gymnast Fairy Volume 2 Born in Kew Melbourne, Australia. I completed my schooling in a private girls college in Malvern, where I later went on to further my studies in art and languages. After completing my University studies I traveled to Italy, where I lived in Rome and studied in Florence. Later traveled to Sicily where I studied and worked as an english teacher. I’ve always had a fascination for fairies and anything enchanted. My daughter was born and thats when all my stories and reading of fairies and the enchanted life of the mystical lives of anything to do with fairies came together. I have been writing stories of fairies for as long as I can remember. It wasnt until my daughter started Rhythmic gymnastics six years ago, that I combined both together and thats how my stories were reborn. The beauty of Rhythmic gymnastics and the enchanted fascination of fairies was put together and that’s where the storyline came about. I hope I can engage and excite those who also have a love for the rhythmic gymnastics and fairies.

Dr Istv(Stephen) J is highly respected in Budapest literary circles but to the family he has always been known by the diminutive "Pisti." This prize-winning novel was inspired by a series of questions in an application for compensation for nazi atrocities. It is highly autobiographical, so the characters are real people, but it is a novel. Significant events, such as Pistis fathers trip to Rome, are real although how much embellished I do not know.English is a rich language as is Hungarian. The two don't always match up so I have tried to bridge the gap with footnotes where I could.Ripples of Time acknowledges but does not dwell on the horrors of war, rather it introduces us to the people and their stories. The saga of the family is interspersed with several anecdotal chapters of differing flavours.Pisti takes us back three generations, introducing the English speaking reader most delightfully to life in turn of the century provincial Hungary over a century ago, through life in the former Austro-Hungarian Empire in the aftermath of WW1 and the Trianon treaty. We in Anglo-Saxon lands have no idea of what it was like for parts of our country to suddenly become part of another country, foreign citizens and all, nor are we aware of the degree of anti-Semitism and how it affected ordinary people who happened to be Jewish. Nor do we have any concept of living under oppressive regimes characterised by show trials and the effect on everyday life and relationships or even of the complex and varying relationships between many European countries. He has followed the family with pathos and most of all humour. May the reader enjoy the reading as much as I did the translating.Dr Peter KrausTranslator

Seldom, if ever, has a writer been given access to a former major drug dealer in the Mafia underworld and three generations of family members that followed. After nearly two years of interviews and subsequent research, it has been discovered that a close relative of the family was one of the most powerful figures in the Mafia from the 1940s to the mid 1990s, yet his identity until now has never been revealed. He was the consigliere for all of the American Mafia. The book tells in detail the life and times of a family who escaped the threat of Fascism in Sicily at the turn of the century and the rise of one of the children to a major figure in the Mob. Another sibling returned from a tragic life in an orphanage only to become an adept criminal. He ultimately spent twenty years off and on in prison with the Who's Who of the Mafia, men who became friends and had secret stories to tell. After prison, he became one of the pioneers of Off Off Broadway in NYC and later was responsible for the regeneration of Little Italy in the Lower East Side of NYC. The book details the influence and protection afforded later generations of the family to this day. It offers a unique insight into the real life of people during this 100 year period. Myths about the Mob are disclosed and inaccuracies in the history of the Mafia are corrected. It is a very compelling epic true story. It is a book you will not be able to put down.
