Messianic Aleph Tav Interlinear Scriptures Volume One the Torah, Paleo and Modern Hebrew-Phonetic Translation-English, Red Letter Edition Study Bible by William H. Sanford Pdf

The "Messianic Aleph Tav Interlinear Scriptures" (MATIS) is the most unique Interlinear Study Bible of its kind in the world. MATIS is the first true Interlinear Study Bible to combine both the Paleo and the Babylonian Block Hebrew with a distinctive Hebrew translation for each word. The purpose of MATIS is to provide a Study Bible whereby each Hebrew word and its letters could be studied to obtain a deeper understanding of what the originators were trying to express. Charts are provided in the back of MATIS that break down both the potential meanings of the Hebrew letters and the Hebrew letter code used to translate the Hebrew. MATIS also incorporates the popular Strong's numbering system for each word in the interlinear section with a complete Strong's Hebrew Dictionary to provide for more in depth study. MATIS English translation began with the public domain version of the 1987 KJV and removed all the old English for easier reading. All English words originally used in the KJV for deities have also been replaced with their original Hebrew words. MATIS is also unique in regard to the Hebrew verses running in sequence from left to right with the English while the Hebrew individual words are written from right to left as originally written by the Sages for thousands of years. The word order the Hebrew verses are written is the exact order they were written originally except in reverse, which allows the verses to run parallel with the English. This combination is also unique and makes it easier for beginners to study the Hebrew language in comparison to both the Hebrew and English translations. The First Volume of MATIS is the TORAH with additional MATIS volumes being, volume two the WRITINGS, volume three the PROPHETS and volume four the B'rit Chadashah (New Testament). MATIS also furthers the journey of the study of the Aleph/Tav character symbol by revealing thousands of words that originally incorporate this symbol in Paleo Hebrew, and apparently for good reason! MATIS is truly the perfect gift for the believer who is interested in studying Hebrew and desires to analyze each Hebrew word and the meaning of each Hebrew letter in the original Hebrew text in order to obtain a deeper understanding of what the originators, as well as our creator was trying to express in the Hebrew language. MATIS comes in your choice of either Red Letter or Bold Black 8.5x11 editions. About the Author William H. Sanford is a licensed Minister of Bet Ami, a Messianic Congregation in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and has been studying and preaching the gospel for over 40 years. William has several videos about "The Messianic Aleph Tav Scriptures" (MATS) on YouTube, and he may be contacted through his website www.AlephTavScriptures.com or on Facebook at Aleph Tav Scriptures.

Essential Torah by George Robinson Pdf

Whether you are studying the Bible for the first time or you're simply curious about its history and contents, you will find everything you need in this "accessible, well-written handbook to Jewish belief as set forth in the Torah" (The Jerusalem Post). George Robinson, author of the acclaimed Essential Judaism, begins by recounting the various theories of the origins of the Torah and goes on to explain its importance as the core element in Jewish belief and practice. He discusses the basics of Jewish theology and Jewish history as they are derived from the Torah, and he outlines how the Dead Sea Scrolls and other archaeological discoveries have enhanced our understanding of the Bible. He introduces us to the vast literature of biblical commentary, chronicles the evolution of the Torah’s place in the synagogue service, offers an illuminating discussion of women and the Bible, and provides a study guide as a companion for individual or group Bible study. In the book’s centerpiece, Robinson summarizes all fifty-four portions that make up the Torah and gives us a brilliant distillation of two thousand years of biblical commentaries—from the rabbis of the Mishnah and the Talmud to medieval commentators such as Rashi, Maimonides, and ibn Ezra to contemporary scholars such as Nahum Sarna, Nechama Leibowitz, Robert Alter, and Everett Fox. This extraordinary volume—which includes a listing of the Torah reading cycles, a Bible time line, glossaries of terms and biblical commentators, and a bibliography—will stand as the essential sourcebook on the Torah for years to come.

9Ø9إ9ج9ح9ؤ9ѳ9إ9®9ة9إ9® by Michael L. Munk Pdf

For more than a generation, Rabbi Michael L. Munk, as a sidelight to his busy schedule of educational and communal work, has fascinated audiences with his learned and provocative lectures on the Hebrew alphabet. In the process of opening eyes and raising eyebrows, he has convinced countless people that his contention is true: the Hebrew alphabet abounds in scholarly and mystical meaning. He has developed and proven a profound thesis. The alphabet -- if correctly understood -- is a primer for life. Ethical conduct, religious guidance, philosophical insights, all are nestled in the curls, crowns, and combinations of the Hebrew letters. This is one of those rare books that is both interesting and profound, learned and readable. The wisdom and compassion of the author is evident in those subtle ways that do not intrude on the reader, but give him the satisfaction of knowing that a rich, warm, productive lifetime of experience is flavoring the text.

More than forty years have passed since Louis Jacobs first published the still-controversial book We Have Reason to Believe, the work which led to his being outlawed by the Orthodox Jewish establishment. In this new book he examines afresh all the issues involved, meeting all the objections put forward from the various trends within the Jewish world so that readers can make up their own minds.

When Judaism Meets Science by Roger L. Price Pdf

This book seeks to confront the challenge that science presents to the traditional pillars of Judaism. It identifies and analyzes a wide variety of issues, including some contemporary sacred cows. First, the book considers what is fact and what is fiction in the primary stories contained in Judaism's foundational texts. Then, drawing on Jewish ethical teachings, it seeks to determine how Judaism and science can inform each other with respect to a broad range of contemporary issues, from abortion and allergies to vaccinations and violence with firearms. Finally, it peeks into the future to address issues that Judaism and science are just now beginning to discuss, such as an exotheology for aliens on distant planets, a Jewdroid who seeks acceptance in a shul, and even the fate of the universe itself. When Judaism Meets Science addresses readers of all persuasions--regardless of denomination and whether a believer or not--as the author builds a case, with specific recommendations, for the value of a reality-based Judaism, one grounded on both traditional ethics and empirical evidence that can resonate with the educated adults of Israel.

Gematria Azer - A Taste of Torah from Exodus by Akiva Gamliel Belk Pdf

What is Gematria? The word Gematria is a Greek word that comes from geometry which is a branch of mathematics. Watch a Video about Gematria: https: //www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10201804737095628 The world thinks of Hebrew Letters and numbers like they think of letters and numbers of their own language. The world views Gematria through the eyes of geometry. This makes sense to the world. And those of us who are Jewish can see how and why the world views Gematria from this position. HOWEVER, and I MUST emphasize, Gematria is not the correct term for understanding The Letters, and Numbers of Hebrew. The correct term is Oht meaning, 'A Sign, A marvel, A Symbol. Yet even Oht does not express the entire meaning. Hebrew Letters and Numbers are also a Mystical form of revelation. Hebrew Letters and Numbers provide us with Spiritual revelation. Hebrew Letters and Numbers have the power of opening avenues that are new to us. When I use the term Gematria, this term does not explain or reveal the true meaning or intent of the Spiritual Revelations hidden in Hebrew Letters and Numbers. Hebrew is the original language of the universe. The Lord God Created the Universe with ten utterances spoken from the Hebrew language. Hebrew is separated from all other languages of the world. We call It Loshon Kodesh, the Holy Language. Within the pages of this book are Spiritual Revelations that can help us. This Mystical Phenomena is exclusive to The Words of Ha Torah. Our Creator Instructed Moshe to place The Letter Tav in front of certain HEBREW WORDS that He Desired to change the Numerical Calculation on and to Give the reader a Sign. The purpose for Giving a Sign is to indicate that this is a good place to spend time studying. There is a hidden Revelation here. Geometry and mathematical calculations and translations do not reveal what is in Loshon Kodesh! Only experienced individuals who have walked these paths look for these special Mystical signs in the Hebrew Text of The Hebrew Scriptures. This is only one example of the many signs within Loshon Kodesh. Lets say for example that the Word emphasized in Hebrew in The Torah by The Letter Tav was Law Mohd meaning 'to learn'. When the Letter Tav is placed in front of Law Mohd the meaning of the Word does not change. It still means to learn. The Gematria relationship changes from being 74 to 474. There is NO WAY for other languages to reflect the Mysticism in the translation. Hebrew Letters and Numbers are a Sign and contain many revelations. Gematria is only a small portion of what is hidden in the Letters, Numbers, Words, Phrases, etc., of The Hebrew Language. Hebrew Letters and Numbers are NOT numerology!! Hebrew Letters and Numbers are NOT geometry!! Please do not be fooled by all the discussions trying to broaden the boundaries of what The Lord God ONLY Established just among The Hebrew Letters and Numbers!! There are untold thousands upon thousands of Revelations hidden within the Letters and Numbers of Hebrew that translators are entirely oblivious too. I try to share a few of these Revelations in this book. This is why they are call Mysterious signs or Mystical revelations... They are NOT magical! The Revelations are Holy and Spiritual. The Hidden Revelations have great potential not understood by the human mind..."

Go to Nineveh by Steven Bob Pdf

The book of Jonah remains an engaging part of the religious lives of Jews and Christians. On the human level, the dramatic story speaks to us of the possibility of second chances in our lives. On the spiritual level, it describes the paths an individual and a people can take leading them back to God.Medieval Jewish commentaries unfold new perspectives of meaning beyond the surface of the biblical text. In explaining the verses of the book of Jonah, the commentators explore many core topics, including human nature, our relationship with God, the interaction of Jews and gentiles, and the meaning of our lives. This book offers the first full English translation of the commentaries of Rashi, Ibn Ezra, Kimchi, Abarbanel, and Malbim. It also provides an explanation of their comments, making them accessible to contemporary Western readers. Until now one needed a high level of Hebrew to explore these works. Go to Nineveh opens this world to the modern English reader. The book also includes the author's own modern commentary, considering questions not raised by earlier commentators.

Jewish Education by Ari Y Kelman Pdf

Most writing about Jewish education has been preoccupied with two questions: What ought to be taught? And what is the best way to teach it? Ari Y Kelman upends these conventional approaches by asking a different question: How do people learn to engage in Jewish life? This book, by centering learning, provides an innovative way of approaching the questions that are central to Jewish education specifically and to religious education more generally. At the heart of Jewish Education is an innovative alphabetical primer of Jewish educational values, qualities, frameworks, catalysts, and technologies which explore the historical ways in which Jewish communities have produced and transmitted knowledge. The book examines the tension between Jewish education and Jewish Studies to argue that shifting the locus of inquiry from “what people ought to know” to “how do people learn” can provide an understanding of Jewish education that both draws on historical precedent and points to the future of Jewish knowledge.
