Nor is it without historic or educational value, to say nothing of the fact that if made with care a collection may be regarded in the light of a profitable investment. Prices for genuine pieces are yearly hardening, and for even what was once regarded as very common earthenware - lustre, for instance - three times as much as was possible ten years ago can now be obtained.
