In this book, the proceedings of the Third European Symposium on "Analysis of Organic Micropollutants in Water", held in Oslo (Norway), from 19 to 21 September 1983, are presented. The development of civilization entails a growing demand for consumer goods. A side effect of the production and use of these materials is the production of solid waste and wastewater.
