Despite her prominence in the Christian narrative, Mary largely has been neglected within the Protestant church. Widely respected Protestant scholars seek to answer three basic questions: Who is Mary? How does Mary's story intersect with contemporary life: and What does Mary teach us about God?
The novel is based on a curse story; a curse has been chasing a family generation after generation due to a crime committed by a powerful person due to ego clash with another powerful person. The protagonist was also on the firing line of the curse. However, he was saved from the curse by the blessings of his mother and mother goddess. The basic theme of the book is ‘blessings are more powerful than the curses.’ The book contains some unbelievable stories how the protagonist had been saved from almost sure death by a supernatural power. Finally he got the answer when he was unconscious due to a murderous attack by a spurned lover by pumping three bullets in his chest. He survived the attack to become an enlighten person who finally has decided to denounce the world forever to devote his life for the mankind and for preservation of the environment.
"In the summer of June 1939, someplace over the horizon, the plains, and bright hills, lay expectations of a destitute family destined to face the worst thing that could possibly happen to them in the South, in a state that was known to up hold the laws in different ways, not to support everyone but just made for the most elite race of people who were not of the same color. In 1939 and years before, people of color were treated less than humans but as workers, not even as hired help, just as slaves owned by the so-called white masters." "We Were the Blessed Ones" by David E. Clemons tells the tale of one family's journey out of slavery-and all of the little things in life that truly make one blessed. About the Author David E. Clemons is a retired Federal Government employee. He worked in the Defense Department as a comptroller, managing funding for the agency. David is also a retired soldier and worked in education. Now he helps individuals who would like to write their own stories. David's many hobbies include reading, singing, and listening to all types of music. He is very involved in his church and serves as the coordinator for his community safety program.
Struggling with finding what defines who you are? Grieving the loss of a loved one? Fighting against the toxic constraints of jealousy? Allowing material things to distract you from your faith? Consumed in the sorrow of injury or illness? Unable to forgive others as well as yourself? If you answered "yes" to at least one of these questions, then "The Blessed One" needs to be the next book on your reading list. Although the plot of "The Blessed One" revolves around baseball, the novel's core confronts these very faith-based issues to which many teens and young adults can relate. In the end, you might just see that even our worst tragedies can become our greatest blessings. The pursuit of becoming a Major League Baseball player becomes a battle for life and salvation for one Oklahoma teen. Lawdon, Oklahoma hasn't seen a high school baseball phenom like Brady "Crazy Foot" MacArthur in decades. As a sophomore, Brady is blessed with a major league fastball and is well on his way to leaving his podunk hometown for a career as a professional baseball player. But when tragedy strikes in the fall of Brady's junior year, he must confront the demons of his family's past and rekindle a long-lost faith.
A raucous, multi-tongued sound roars in the ears of many pastors. The voices speak in the various dialects of church growth and Biblical scholarship, in the legalese of congregational polity, in the accents of career success, and in the language of spiritual devotion. These sounds are accompanied by carefully designed images of the successful pastor: C.E.O., visionary leader, trusted counselor, presuasive preacher, anointed prophet, selfless missionary. Many ministers feel compelled to respond to the clashing voices, convinced that if they get the right mix of sounds and images a blessed ministry will follow. In the process pastors often become fractured and restless, spending long years trying to find joy and peace in ministry. "The Blessed Pastor" invites ministers to meet with Jseus on a quiet hillside and, through Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, discover what the Great Shepherd calls them to truly be and actually do. Robert L. Adams, an experienced pastor and writer, brings the words of Jesus into the chaos and complexity of modern pastoral ministry. Jesus' words teach the pastor what it means to truly preach, how to handle the church bully, the proper attitude toward money and stuff, what a wolf in sheep's clothing looks like and much more.
The best evidence that this book characterizes the spirit of Buddhism correctly can be found in the welcome it has received throughout the entire Buddhist world. It has even been officially introduced in Buddhist schools and temples of Japan and Ceylon. The eminent feature of the work is its grasp of the difficult subject and the clear enunciation of the doctrine of the most puzzling problem of tman, as taught in Buddhism. So far as we have examined the question of tman ourselves from the works of the Southern canon, the view taken by Dr. Paul Carus is accurate, and we venture to think that it is not opposed to the doctrine of Northern Buddhism.

"From the papers she left behind, a picture emerges of a woman who had firm control over her own life. We are dealing here with an Egyptian woman in the fifth century BCE who owned houses and land, worked in the necropolis as a professional choachyte, and most probably did more business of which we are uinaware. In fact, what we have here is an unprecedented and privileged peek into the life of an ancient Egyptian girl next door that will never make it into the official history books"--Publisher description.
