THE CLEANSING POWER OF FORGIVENESS by Loreatha Gunnels Mayberry Pdf

There are many facets of forgiveness. With this book, I pray it will give the understanding that unforgiveness can and will hide. The person will think they have forgiven; however, they are only tolerating their offender. I want it understood that we must forgive. Although we sometimes struggle with forgiveness, when we understand God's love and His continuous forgiveness then we will forgive sooner. If we do not forgive, God will not forgive us. In addition, to hold a grudge brings hatred and bitterness. These infirmities can bring illness and even death. When we forgive, we become a free person with peace and joy.

The New Life by Andrew Murray Pdf

Andrew Murray (1828 - 1917) was a South African writer, teacher and Christian pastor. Murray considered missions to be the chief end of the church. Murray pastored churches in Bloemfontein, Worcester, Cape Town and Wellington, all in South Africa. He was a champion of the South African Revival of 1860.In 1889, he was one of the founders of the South African General Mission (SAGM), along with Martha Osborn and Spencer Walton. After Martha Osborn married George Howe, they formed the South East Africa General Mission (SEAGM) in 1891. SAGM and SEAGM merged in 1894. Because its ministry had spread into other African countries, the mission's name was changed to Africa Evangelical Fellowship (AEF) in 1965. AEF joined with Serving in Mission (SIM) in 1998 and continues to this day. Through his writings, Murray was also a key Inner Life or Higher Life or Keswick leader, and his theology of faith healing and belief in the continuation of the apostolic gifts made him a significant forerunner of the Pentecostal movement. In 1894, Murray was visited by John McNeill and Rev. J Gelson Gregson, the ex-British Army Chaplain and Keswick convention speaker. Murray died on 18 January 1917, four months before his 89th birthday. He was so influenced by Johann Christoph Blumhardt's Möttlingen revival that he included a portion of Friedrich Zündel's biography at the end of With Christ in the School of Prayer.

Forgiveness by Gary Inrig Pdf

Gary Inrig brings wonderful breadth, depth, and balance to a very difficult subject: forgiveness. As one 83-year-old theologian, Rev. Herb VanderLugt, says, "This is the best book on the subject I have ever read." Whether it's living forgiven, learning to forgive, what to do when an offender refuses to request forgiveness, whether we're asking, giving, or waiting for forgiveness, this book covers the subject with Inrig's on-the-mark illustrations and solid biblical teaching. It is impossible to exaggerate the importance of the subject of forgiveness to the Christian faith. If the Bible makes it clear that Christians are forgiven people, it also makes it clear that we are to be forgiving people. How and when do we do that? What does it look like?

The Healing Power of Forgiveness by Ray Pritchard Pdf

Few Christians realize nearly every problem in life stems from an unwillingness to forgive someone. When we hold grudges, seek retribution, and blame others, we end up hurting our relationships with God and people—and short-circuit our ability to live the Christian live the way it's meant to be lived. Why is forgiveness so difficult at times? Must we forgive when it's the other person's fault? How should we handle repeat offenses? What if we feel we can't forgive because we've been hurt so badly? Pritchard answers these questions and more by pointing to God's example as the Supreme Forgiver. When we learn to forgive in the way He forgives, then we'll know true freedom, peace, and emotional healing.

Finding Forgiveness by Stanley D. Gale Pdf

If you are a Christian, you have personally experienced the joy of sins forgiven and reconciliation with God. Forgiveness, writes Stanley Gale, “is a divine accomplishment to be savored and offered to others.” Forgiveness is the most basic of Christian graces, yet the topic raises many questions, including these: Is it biblical to “forgive and forget”? Why do we need to confess our sins if they are already forgiven? How do we actually go about forgiving someone? Does the Bible give a place to forgiving ourselves? What does life look like after forgiveness? In Finding Forgiveness , you will discover practical answers to these questions and many others. With pastoral warmth, the author will help you see how the awe of the gospel dawns anew for those who apply forgiveness and experience the healing of a burdened spirit or broken relationship.

The Power of Forgiveness by Joyce Meyer Pdf

When someone says, 'I can forgive, but I cannot forget,' they really are saying, 'I will not forgive.' Unforgiveness, resentment, and bitterness are spiritual maladies that keep many people from living a Spirit-filled life. Joyce Meyer says that keeping score of all the hurts we have suffered does more spiritual damage to us than those who have offended us. In fact, we can suffer serious physical illnesses as a result of unforgiveness. Is it difficult to forgive? Absolutely, but the rewards are well worth it. In The Power of Forgiveness, Joyce Meyer reveals that when we choose to forgive others, we release ourselves from sin's power. The act of forgiving them allows God to work his will and our healing in the situation. Forgiveness in the power that will change life of defeat into one of victory.
