Daniel’s Fourth Kingdom by Melvin L. Hawkins LLC Pdf

Although there is broad consensus among Bible prophecy scholars that the times of the gentiles will continue until the return of Jesus Christ, the century-old, traditional interpretation holds that Daniel’s fourth, gentile kingdom (the Roman Empire) ceased to exist in AD 476 in the West at Rome and, therefore, must be “revived” politically in the beginning of the seven-year tribulation period. That prevailing viewpoint is obscuring a clear understanding of the continuing existence of the fourth kingdom as well as its fulfillment in history of important prophecies related to the end times. Peters forewarned about this potential interpretation problem in The Theocratic Kingdom (1884). Daniel’s Fourth Kingdom: (1) establishes that the divided Roman Empire still exists today and explains why that fact matters regarding the season of Christ’s return; (2) respectfully questions the traditional interpretation; (3) exhorts the church to love not the temporal kingdoms of this world but, instead, to embrace her gospel-inspired, Holy Spirit-empowered, love-driven, apolitical, evangelical mission to share the gospel with all nations while expecting the possibly imminent pretribulation rapture; and (4) invites all readers, believers and skeptics alike, to consider the relevance of the Bible concerning world history, current events, and the future.

The Middle East in Bible Prophecy by United Church of God Pdf

The Arab Spring, the continuing Israel - Palestine conflict... why does the Middle East dominate the news headlines so often? One obvious answer is oil, the lifeblood of our modern world. The crucial importance of oil alone ensures that the Middle East will remain in the headlines for years. The Middle East is also the birthplace of the world's three great monotheistic religions—Judaism, Christianity and Islam. It has also been the battlefield for each religion—trying to control the territory they consider holy. Nowhere are these conflicts more obvious than in Israel, and specifically in Jerusalem. Whether you understand it or not, events in the Middle East are destined to affect the lives of every person on earth! Bible prophecy gives us the clues to understand what will happen. This ebook, "The Middle East in Bible Prophecy", will help you better understand the troubled history of the Middle East—and its tumultuous future. Chapters in this ebook: -- Introduction: Worlds in Turmoil -- The Middle East: Worlds in Collision -- The Sons of Abraham -- The Rise and Fall of Ancient Israel -- The Four Empires of Daniel's Prophecies -- The Coming of Islam -- The Jews: From the Dispersion to the Modern Israeli State -- The Creation of the Modern Middle East -- A Rising Tide of Arab Nationalism -- Fundamentalist Islam Resurges -- Anger Mounts Following Gulf War -- Not Enemies Forever -- "Why Do People Hate Us So Much?" -- War and Peace in the Middle East -- What Is the "Abomination of Desolation"? -- Prophecy of an Arab Confederation -- What Should You Do? Inside this Bible Study Aid ebook: "It’s impossible to understand the present Middle East without a knowledge of the three great religions that emanate from the area—Judaism, Christianity and Islam. These three faiths all trace their spiritual roots back to the same individual, Abraham." "However, conflict between Christians and Muslims has been a constant theme of history for 14 centuries." "Many other factors have contributed to the rise of Islamic fundamentalism and subsequent terrorism, including the Israeli-Palestinian problem and the domination of American culture." "After so much death and destruction, and centuries of war and unrest in the Middle East, imagine what a difference the second coming of Jesus Christ will make."

The Visions of Daniel the Hebrew Prophet by Robert Johns Pdf

For centuries, controversy has raged over the authorship and genuineness of the book of Daniel. Is it an authentic document from the sixth century before the Common Era with a message from God to postexilic Israel; or is it a forged document written centuries later to encourage Israelites being oppressed by the Seleucid king, Antiochus Epiphanes? Robert Johns addresses these issues and more in his thesis on Daniel's visions. Importantly, Johns establishes when Daniel was provided with his visions, and he defines why God provided Daniel with the visions. The Visions of Daniel the Hebrew Prophet examines the metal image, the beast with eleven horns, the Seventy "sevens," chapter eight's little-horn, and the 2,300 evening-mornings. It demonstrates that the enigmatic 1,290 days and 1,335 days are anything but enigmatic, and it identifies the reason why Daniel's fifth and final revelation is so detailed. Appendices address issues of general nature, such as the historicity of Jesus the Christ, the popularity of dispensationalism, the identity of "the abomination that desolates," and the integrity of novels representing the Christian-fiction genre (which focus on a seven-year tribulation period at the end of history). This book will be of value to every Christian who has an interest in Bible prophecy and eschatology.

The Last Empire by Robert Hines Pdf

THE book of Daniel was written during the sixth century BC (approximately 535 BC) and contains amazingly detailed prophecies concerning future empires and world events. Whilst it is true that no human being could have the ability to foretell so much detail of future history, our God, who knows all future events, has exactly that ability. God's prophetic Word is specific and accurate and history has shown that so far these prophecies have been 100% fulfilled. Whilst the detailed prophecies of what to us are now past empires are amazing, and faith inspiring, what is even more relevant to us in this generation, are the prophecies dealing with events leading up to the return of Jesus. God predicted, through His prophet Daniel, exactly what world empires would arise throughout the history of mankind and also foretold what these Empires would be like. But the descriptions given in Daniel show that there is still one Empire yet to arise. Are we seeing the beginnings of this global empire coming to power in our lifetimes? If so what does this mean for our future and the future of our children? God does indeed give us an exact description of this future world empire and its leader. He also warns us to watch for the signs and be ready as the rise of this Kingdom will herald in an unprecedented time of worldwide calamity and distress. But Daniel is also a book of encouragement for those who look towards the return of Jesus Christ so read it and rejoice for our God is in control!

The Prophecies of Daniel 2 by John S. Evans Pdf

Although Daniel 2:45 states that the great statue composed of four metals and with feet of clay reveals the future, relatively few biblical scholars have understood it as an amazingly accurate timeline that does exactly that. Liberals have been unwilling to consider that the statue's fourth kingdom is Rome. Most conservatives have recognized that it is Rome, but they have gone astray by seeking a nonexistent link between that ancient empire and the modern world. The key to understanding the statue is to recognize that it presents a prophecy that was fulfilled in the first century by the Coming of Christ, which was the historical equivalent of the rock that destroys the statue. The rock's growth into the mountain that covers all of Earth foretells a process that began in the first century and includes the thousand years of Revelation 20. This process appears to have reached a historical climax in our own time. John S. Evans is a retired professor of economics and international finance who taught at the University of Alabama from 1968 until 2000 after beginning his teaching career in 1959 at the University of South Dakota. His professional accomplishments included a year in Mexico as a Fulbright Lecturer and the writing of a textbook on international financial management. Since 1996, when he went into partial retirement, his primary intellectual activity has consisted of the intensive study of the Bible, with emphasis on the Book of Daniel. In 2004, he published with Xulon Press The Four Kingdoms of Daniel: A Defense of the "Roman" Sequence with AD 70 Fulfillment. The present book expands on parts of The Four Kingdoms and offers much new material. Evans has authored over thirty articles that have been posted at planetpreterist.com and has been a frequent guest on John Anderson's "Voice of Reason."
