The Last Good Guy by T. Jefferson Parker Pdf

In this electrifying new thriller from three-time Edgar Award winner and New York Times bestseller T. Jefferson Parker, Private Investigator Roland Ford hunts for a missing teenager and uncovers a dark conspiracy in his most personal case yet. When hired by a beautiful and enigmatic woman to find her missing younger sister, private investigator Roland Ford immediately senses that the case is not what it seems. He is soon swept up in a web of lies and secrets as he searches for the teenager, and even his new client cannot be trusted. His investigation leads him to a secretive charter school, skinhead thugs, a cadre of American Nazis hidden in a desert compound, an arch-conservative celebrity evangelist--and, finally, to the girl herself. The Last Good Guy is Ford's most challenging case to date, one that will leave him questioning everything he thought he knew about decency, honesty, and the battle between good and evil...if it doesn't kill him first.

Blackburn by Bradley Denton Pdf

"Jimmy Blackburn grows up in the Midwest believing the things that adults tell him. He questions his teachers and they lie to him. He questions his parents and his father beats him. He questions the world and it hurts him. And so Jimmy Blackburn becomes a killer. In this novel we meet many of Blackburn's twenty-one victims. They include law enforcers, writers, adulterers, auto mechanics, and other liars. This is an exceptional novel, at once riotously funny and searingly potent: a vision of America through the eyes of the central bogeyman of our culture."--Publisher.

The Good Guy List by Russell Vanderboom Pdf

To look at them, David and Patrick Joyce couldn't be less alike. Their birth compounds the heartbreak of their recently widowed mother, and from their first days, the twins follow separate paths. David--dark, scrawny, and cerebral--stays on the family farm, where he immerses himself in the study of language, genetics, music, and philosophy. Patrick, a gentle giant, light of hair and heart, is sent to the home of a wealthy aunt along the beaches and dunes of Lake Michigan, a shy child thrust into a life of unexpected privilege and sophistication. Each brother finds--and loses--friendship and love, passion and conviction, innocence and faith. Coming of age in 1960s mid-America, the Joyce twins are shaped by the changes sweeping the nation, while friends and family fight to hold them steady. As their lives diverge, collide, and intertwine, Patrick and David each seek peace and the meaning of their own creation.

The Good Guy, the Bad Guy, and the Ugly Truth by Justin Nutt Pdf

The Good Guy, the Bad Guy, and the Ugly Truth, looks at the fact that when a man or woman is in more than one unhealthy relationship, be it physical, verbal or emotional abuse that comes to be seen as normal. While the person may state that they desire a healthy and loving relationship they tend to reject those potential partners where a healthy relationship is possible and tend to accept those partners who treat them poorly as that is what they understand. Two reasons exist for this 1. they have come to believe that the "good guy" (or girl) is an act and when the truly good person doesn't change into the "bad guy" or girl they feel they are still experiencing the act. 2. They have a damaged self esteem and self-worth and feel as thought they don't deserve better and this leads to them rejecting the person. Generally it is a combination of the two. The book examines this idea and explains it in an easy to read way without losing therapeutic value. After the subjects and ideas have been explained there are multiple self-designed exercises which are intended to help the person examine him or herself as well as their past relationships and what they truly want. They include things like the persons strengths, their weaknesses, guilt, and resentments, accountability of self and other and many more. The last section of the book talks about how a healthy relationship should exist as far as communication, sharing, time apart, respect, sexuality, and other aspects. The book is designed not only for those who have been through unhealthy relationship, but also those who have been effected by attempting to or being in a relationship with those who had unhealthy relationships. The exercises work for both men and women no matter which side they were on as well as individuals of any sexual orientation.

No More Mr Nice Guy by Dr Robert A Glover Pdf

Originally published as an e-book that became a controversial media phenomenon, No More Mr. Nice Guy! landed its author, a certified marriage and family therapist, on The O'Reilly Factor and the Rush Limbaugh radio show. Dr. Robert Glover has dubbed the "Nice Guy Syndrome" trying too hard to please others while neglecting one's own needs, thus causing unhappiness and resentfulness. It's no wonder that unfulfilled Nice Guys lash out in frustration at their loved ones, claims Dr. Glover. He explains how they can stop seeking approval and start getting what they want in life, by presenting the information and tools to help them ensure their needs are met, to express their emotions, to have a satisfying sex life, to embrace their masculinity and form meaningful relationships with other men, and to live up to their creative potential.

The Good Guy by Justin Fraser Pdf

"I spent a significant amount of time under the thumb of these vile creatures that would steal us away in the night. My family gone, I spent every night trapped in that fog-shrouded town, my trembling hands cupping a mug of beer to my lips. Hamza El Moutadir is the youngest Moroccan writer to write and self-publish in English. He has a Bachelor in English Literarute and a Master Degree in Sexology El Moutadir told media influencer and author, Dr. Melissa Caudle, the reason for writing this game-changing book. Moutadir says, "At first, I was proud of being a Good Guy until my early twenties, where I faced crises on all levels, social, financial, and sexual ones. Things weren't going well. I was kicked out of the house by my father when I was eighteen, I was socially ignored, and the only person I truly loved stabbed me in the back. I was frustrated and needed to refocus my life." El Moutadir's efforts led to his realization that his problems rested within himself. "I started coaching the younger generation until I decided to write a book that will leave an impact on them to get their needs satisfied," he said. "The Good Guy She'd Never Date," is a young adult diary developed to give a proven plan based on reality to get a man's needs satisfied.

The Artist, the Farmer, the Hunter, and the Good Guy by Diane Buzzell Pdf

2 What's it about? It's about life, growing up on a farm in a small town, and lessons learned. About fun and foolishness, hard--really hard--work and accomplishments, family and friends, love and heartbreak. About hometown and Hollywood! About overcomers and encouragers, the mundane and the adventures, memories shared and retold over and over, a slice of American history you won't find in history books. It's about life and death. It's about God's love, his protection, provision, and his plan for our lives. It's about the Buzzells.
