The House that Jesus Built by Matt Long Pdf

It is said that the Bible is not a science book. That is true. Science books were written by men attempting to describe the things of God, while at the same time, removing God from the equation. The Bible does not function on such illogic. It has never issued a second, third or fourth edition. The Bible does not waiver or change based on scientific trends or theories of the day, for the Bible is ultimate truth and ultimate truth cannot change. According to John 1, Hebrews 1 and Colossians 1, Jesus is the maker of all things and Romans 1 says that we can get to know the Creator through the things that were made. If Jesus is the Creator and we can get to know the Creator through creation, should we not study what that creation is according to scripture? After all, Jesus himself disagreed with modern scientific claims. The fact that Jesus disagreed with modern science should not scare us as modern Christians. It should empower us to investigate the claims of modern science, knowing that if the two disagree, there is likely an evil cultural agenda at play, through the devil's use of our traditional media, social media and established scientific community. Years of research across many different biblical topics has yielded me two undeniable facts. One, the experts are not any closer to the available evidence than we are, and two, the Bible is never wrong. In addition, if we can use this available evidence to disprove modern science's claims through simple experimentation, does this not give us the right to speculate on other theories? We should all be more apt to lend credence to ancient accounts written by eyewitnesses over creating entire belief systems based on bias interpretations of numbers, readings and measurements, especially when those interpretations go against the scriptures and are in direct opposition to the experiences of our daily lives. Ultimately, we must choose whether theories backed by scripture, logic and experimentation are sufficient enough to trust our senses over culturally inspired artwork we see on screens or in textbooks.

Only read this book if you want your universe to shrink, your world to grow, and the Bible to fall in line with your senses. Years of research across many different topics have yielded two undeniable facts. One, the experts are not any closer to the available evidence than we are, and two, the Bible is never wrong. If we can approach this topic without bias, we will find that an Intelligent Alternative Design - a design that does not require us to ignore evidence or embrace non-Christian ideals - is waiting to be revealed.

The House that Jesus Built by Ken Mullis Pdf

"Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain." Psalm 127:1This verse was written many years ago to point out the reality that our work for God is meaningless if it is not birthed from God, and it is just as relevant to the Church today. As Ken was pondering these things, he sensed the Lord speaking to him: Men get a glimpse of what I want to do in the earth, then they try and build it with their hands.Ken knew this word from the Lord meant that people attempt to build that which can only be built by the Spirit by relying on their own reasoning and skills, by their own power and might. Scripture makes it clear this is not what God has called us to!The House that Jesus Built makes a clear distinction of what it means to allow the Lord to build His house through you and what it means to labor in vain. This book offers revelatory insights and prophetic words that Ken believes came straight from the Lord to lay out the keys necessary to sustain and expand the emerging revival, reformation, and restoration that is currently taking place in certain streams of the Body of Christ. This book is designed to awaken and encourage those who are called for this moment. The house that Jesus is building is a house not built with the hands of men or their ideologies, but by the Lord Himself, through His Spirit, and by those who live by every word that comes from His mouth (Matthew 4:4).

The House That Jesus Built by Natalie Runion Pdf

From the bestselling author of Raised to Stay comes a hope-filled, practical path forward for our churches to rebuild from the rubble of deconstruction and the discouragement of recent years and become the world-changing family of God again. God's Word provides us the foundation, floor plan, and framework for a holy, healthy, and safe Church. Yet in recent years, our culture's deconstruction of faith, the "great resignation" in Church leadership and attendance, and the devastation of spiritual abuse have broken down God's beautiful design. In The House that Jesus Built, bestselling author Natalie Runion gives insight and encouragement to all the "stayers" who want to be a part of rebuilding our churches, brick by brick. With personal stories and practical ideas, she shows us how we can: Reengage our church communities while acknowledging past hurt and disappointment Reflect and pray as we ask how we as leaders and Christ followers have contributed to pain in our churches today Use the book of Acts as the blueprint for empowering the family of God to be the family of God Understand how even the apostles wrestled with their role in the early Church but remained committed to love God, love people, and make disciples Be unified on the one foundation of Jesus Christ The House That Jesus Built will stir your heart to see God's churches become healthy, whole, and back on mission with the Great Commission and Great Command. As Natalie reminds us, we are the Church. We are the ones who can partner with Jesus to rebuild something beautiful out of the rubble--and back on the Rock.

An Apostolic House: the House That Jesus Built by Ricky Holloway Pdf

In Matthew 16:18, before Jesus ascended to Heaven, He made an emphatic statement to His apostles that would set the tone for how His kingdom would be advanced. "Upon this rock, I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Jesus, the Apostle of our profession, saw fit for there to be a model of the church built for His apostolic leaders to establish after He would leave them. In this book An Apostolic House: The House That Jesus Built, Ricky Holloway brings about a fresh revelatory lens to the subject of the Apostolic. He begins by clarifying what it biblically means to be Apostolic and what the ministry of an Apostolic House is comprised of. Ricky shows how to distinguish between the office and function of an Apostle and different forms of Apostolic gifts expressed in the world of the Apostolic-- which includes you! And he reveals the importance of every believer being apostolic to impact the culture and bring about kingdom dominance. The harvest is plenty, but the laborers are few. And the Apostle of our profession is calling you forth to be trained, developed, and apostolized (sent) to advance the Kingdom of our God.

Psalms of Christ by Daniel H. Fletcher Pdf

The book of Psalms is a treasure trove of teaching about Jesus Christ. While the church has traditionally recognized only about fifteen psalms as "messianic," anticipating God's promised Messiah, the issue is how Christians should understand the other 135 psalms of the Hebrew Psalter. Psalms of Christ applies the New Testament conviction that the whole book of Psalms speaks prophetically about Christ to select "non-messianic" psalms. Following the New Testament as the guide for how to read the Old in light of the gospel, Psalms of Christ proposes fresh readings of so-called non-messianic psalms by illustrating their christological character, and exploring how they testify to the gospel by evoking Jesus's person, purpose, and passion.
