Connect "The Generations" by Drs Scott Buss,Carolyn Buss Pdf

Where do you fit? Restoring Relationships within the Generations _______________________________________________________________________ Drs. Scott and Carolyn Buss, authors of numerous books, recording artists, co-founders and directors of the Institute of Music, Worship & the Arts and All Nations House of Prayer; concert artists, teachers, missionaries, speakers. Their passionate love for music has led them to the nations, (where they have ushered people from varying ethnic, generational and denominational backgrounds into the presence of the Lord, as they've played in great concert halls, ministered in numerous churches and schools, entertained thousands in elegant hotel ballrooms, performed in the historical East Wing of the White House and other governmental buildings.) The key point is not what they have accomplished or where they have been, but that they have played their violin and piano no differently for the audiences of a few in the remotest of mission fields or in small local gatherings. The reason being is because they, like Johann Sebastian Bach, minister unto the greatest audience wherever they are, and that is - God Almighty, the honored KING. He is worthy of the deepest of expressions from the heart, combined with excellence, which is ministered from worshiping priests before the Lord for His glory. Whether in song, spoken messages or in the books they write, their message is the same - More Love, More Unity, More Peace .... for the heart cries of broken relationships in marriages and families, split churches, damaged friendships. People hurt and don't know what to do. _______________________________________________________________________ "Reading this book caused me to see that there is a way to walk in truth and life, that people can be real with each other and walk in love. Families are suffering; trust is waned. This book gives clear revelatory answers and lots of encouragement." LY Thomas: artist, teacher, intercessor

The Books of Joel, Obadiah, Jonah, and Micah by Leslie C. Allen Pdf

The eloquent and uncompromising calls for social righteousness by the Minor Prophets are familiar to many, yet the writings themselves are probably the least-studied and least-known texts of the Old Testament. Those who are familiar with these books are also aware of the historical and literary problems that plague their study. Drawing on theological, historical, and literary insights, Leslie Allen’s commentary on Joel, Obadiah, Jonah, and Micah carefully and imaginatively reconstructs the context in which the original Hebrew audience received the prophets’ messages. In turn, Allen shows what relevance they hold for contemporary Christians. For each of the books, Allen includes a substantial introduction, presenting and assessing a broad range of scholarship, a select bibliography, and an extensive commentary on the author’s own translation of the text. Allen pays special attention to Micah, in which he treats at greater length many of the forms and motifs that also appear in Joel, Obadiah, and Jonah. The introductory material for Joel includes discussions of canonicity and textual criticism that apply to the entire volume.

Understanding the Book of Daniel for This Generation Comprensión El Libro De Daniel Para Esta Generación by Earl B. Schrock Pdf

The entire book of Daniel demonstrates the battle between good and evil from the days of Daniel to the very end of the ages when sin is completely destroyed. It reveals the ongoing battle where the sacred verses the secular and the holy verses the unholy. The author’s goal is to produce an easy to read book explaining the intent of each chapter in the book of Daniel, leading the reader to get a clearer understanding of Bible prophecy. The objective is to help people realize an interpretation of the book of Daniel, for our day, for this generation, is indispensable. There is a soon coming time of trouble and a time of tribulation we should know about, understand, and prepare for. Daniel Bible questions to ponder: How many years were Daniel’s people to be in Babylon? And why? How long is the “seven times” in which King Nebuchadnezzar was punished? How long is “time, times, and half a time”? When do the 70 weeks, 1260, 1290, 1335, and 2300 days begin? What is the Holy Covenant? What is the “continual” of Daniel 12:11? What is the “abomination of desolation”? Can a seven year tribulation period be substantiated in the Bible? What does “the appointed time of the end” timeline look like as designed by the Bible? A Greater Sense of God's Presence by Bill Vincent Pdf

There is always a sound being emitted from the earth to the heavens and from the heavens to the earth - a divine exchange, if you will. It exists in the unseen realm in the form of energy patterns, waves, and particles, and while the great majority of it is not audible to our natural ear, we can perceive it because we are a part of it. God "hears" what we say, and I believe He has an ever-flowing answer that we need to be aware of and "tune into" with our spirit man in order to tap into the constant communion we may have with Him. We typically refer to it as "spirit to spirit, deep to deep," as does Scripture. "...that they may be one just as We are one: I in them and You in Me," Jesus prays in John 17 on our oneness with Him. Whether we are aware of it or not, our world as we know it would not exist without that ongoing exchange... "in Him all things consist." When God created our entire existence, He set it in motion by releasing His sound, His Word, "Let there be Light."

Standing in the Breach by Michael Widmer Pdf

At the heart of this study is a biblical-theological approach to central passages on intercessory prayers in the OT. After examining these largely prophetic prayer dialogues, Widmer argues that they provide an important key to biblical theology and spirituality. Furthermore, a close reading of prayers by Abraham, Moses, Samuel, David, Solomon, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Joel, and Amos reveals fascinating insights into the portrayals of these characters and confirms strong conceptual associations with Moses, Israel’s archetypal mediator. Widmer reads these prayers in both their immediate literary and wider canonical contexts. The ultimate aim of this study is to gain a deeper understanding of the God whom the church worships and confesses to be the Father of Jesus Christ. Particularly pertinent is the finding that many OT prayers interact with God’s nature as revealed to Moses in Exod 34:6–7. Yhwh’s fullest revelation is also given in the context of an intercessory prayer. Widmer argues that intercessory prayer and theology have a hermeneutical-spiral relationship, mutually informing and correcting each other. It is in engaging with a loving and holy God that the phenomenon of divine mutability must be understood. Overall, Standing in the Breach suggests that fundamental biblical themes such as God’s mercy and judgment, divine retribution and forgiveness, covenant mediation, substitutionary suffering and atonement, and eventually the dynamics of the cross are all intrinsically related to and illuminated by prophetic OT intercessory prayers.

The People by Richard J. McQueen,Fernand D'AMICO,Jacques WISMAN Pdf

The subject of the People, based on the research topics conducted by Fernand D'Amico and Jacques Wisman, is proposed in this book as a themed walk through the passages of Scripture from the Old and New Testament. The biblical text (KJV) is presented deliberately devoid of additional comments to offer an immediate and direct perception of the selected track. The thematic reading of the biblical text opens to the reader as a fascinating experience that allows him to benefit in a short time, a surprising and rich picture of content. In the Scriptures are treated many interesting aspects about the People. The elements that identify the people are the subject of lengthy debates in anthropological studies. The history, philosophy and the law have made their contribution. The reading of the biblical text allows us to perceive the fundamental structures of a community on a journey towards a goal, a view which is organized and find a way to everyday life.
