The Karma of Self, Volume II by Vasile Munteanu Pdf
This is the second volume of The Karma of Self where the same narrator addresses the issue of the influence of emotions in one's existence. In The Karma of Self the narrator makes the following promise: "It occurred to him that perhaps he should make a list of all the strongest emotions he had experienced, and figure out which ones had been running his life without him being aware of it. Some of them came to mind right away, but he didn't want to act hastily in this situation since the results had the potential to be quite revealing." The present book is a fulfillment of that initial promise and a meditation on the results of this inquiry.
The Karma of Self, Volume II: A Karmic List by Vasile Munteanu Pdf
A Karmic List This is the second volume of The Karma of Self where the same narrator addresses the issue of the influence of emotions in one’s existence. In The Karma of Self the narrator makes the following promise: “It occurred to him that perhaps he should make a list of all the strongest emotions he had experienced, and figure out which ones had been running his life without him being aware of it. Some of them came to mind right away, but he didn’t want to act hastily in this situation since the results had the potential to be quite revealing.” The present book is a fulfillment of that initial promise and a meditation on the results of this inquiry.
The book is a meditation on the ideas of the Ego, the Soul and the Higher Self and the differences between them. The narrator is a rather amorphous figure that can actually be anyone who has thought about these issues. There are no characters per sé, but as the novel evolves, night, darkness, the dreaming process, the mind, and thought become the main characters. The story is part of a very long, complex dream that the narrator seems to be going through as he makes his way to the realization that the Higher Self is the source of everything.
Karma II - The Book of Works by Shanna Spalding St. Clair Pdf
In Karma II, The Book of Works: The Energy Dynamics of Karmic Evolutionary Progression, Shanna Spalding St. Clair presents an often mystifying concept: the energy dynamics that form the human karmic experience and create and align karmic progression. Karma II's topics include: relationships of the soul, origin and purpose of human form, karmic tasks, karmic lessons, karmic design, karmic theory of light, simultaneously incarnating souls, myth and karma, the law of similars, healing, teaching, reincarnation, transcendence, and much more. “… Those with whom you learn your most valuable karmic lessons while in an incarnation are there to affirm your existence as a separate form of light energy and to give assistance to your progression, and it is through this choice of interaction with these other seemingly influential forms of light (which you perceive as your soulmates) that you appear to gain your direction and purpose for the current incarnation, because they provide for you the limitations (yes, limitations) to perceive what that direction and purpose can be.”“The Principle of Perspective involves how we know or how we perceive or how we choose an incarnation for the potential value that its specific parameters may place on us as soul-form entities in order to promote the viewpoint, the perspective, through which lessons that will promote our karmic progression can be acquired. “ “What appears to be in opposition may, on balance, not be in opposition but may be providing occasions for similars to interact… That which appears in opposition is but a further aspect of the thing itself… The key for karmic progression in a human incarnation is to find the point of balance so that the continuum is perceived.”“Teaching is the purpose of choosing an incarnation on the earthplane in the first instance… Healing is a form of teaching. Both healing and teaching result in learning and progression. These are inseparable causes and effects.” Shanna Spalding St. Clair has been a writer, spiritual educator, and medium for 30 years. Her spiritual writings are inspirational and illuminating. She has presented workshops throughout the U.S. Shanna currently writes and teaches in Florida.
Karma has become a by-word for the workings of fate but crucially has almost nothing to do with fate and almost everything to do with free will and conscious choice. Karma is a fundamental concept in Eastern thought - the underlying principle is the law of cause and effect, i.e. everything we say and do has consequences. You spot your best friend's husband having dinner with another woman. Should you tell your friend or keep this discovery to yourself? Moral dilemmas such as this test our belief in what is right and wrong and the repercussions of our actions affect whether we will be at the receiving end of good or bad karma. The heart of Good Karma consists of 20 thought-provoking dialogues between a hypothetical seeker and a sage, which gives wonderful realism and momentum to Joan Duncan Oliver's illuminating commentary. Joan helps us navigate the karmic labyrinth, offering essential advice on atoning for our past mistakes and making things right for the future. This is the essential guide to becoming master of your own destiny.
Karma and Rebirth in Classical Indian Traditions by Wendy Doniger O'Flaherty,Wendy Doniger Pdf
Karma is perhaps the most famous concept in Indian philosophy, but there is no comprehensive study of its various meanings or philosophical implications. Under the sponsorship of the American Council of Learned Societies and the Social Science Research Council, leading American Indologists met on several occasions to discuss their ideas about karma. The result is this volume. This book will have a considerable impact upon the teaching of Indian philosophy. At the very least, it demonstrates the impossibility of speaking of the theory of karma, as is so often done. It also supplies the basis for a full study of this important theory. Finally, it raises basic methodological problems about the study of a non-Western system of soteriology and rebirth, questions regarding the interaction of medical and philosophical models of the human body, the incorporation of philosophical theories into practical religions with which they are logically incompatible, and the problem of historical reconstruction of a complex theory of human life. Contents List of Contributors, Introduction, PART I: Hinduism and its Roots: Karma and Rebirth in the Vedas and Puranas, The Concepts of Human action and Rebirth in the Mahabharata, Karma and Rebirth in Dharmasastras, Caraka Samhita on the Doctrine of Karma, The Theory of Reincarnation among the Tamils, PART II: Buddhism and Jainism: The rebirth Eschatology and its Transformations: A Contribution to the Sociology of Early Buddhism, Karma and Rebirth in Early Buddhism, The Medical Soteriology of Karma in the Buddhist Tantric Tradition, Karma and the Problem of Rebirth in Jainism, PART III. I Did It to Myself...Again! by Joanne DiMaggio Pdf
What does it feel like to die? What does the afterlife look like? Who are the Council of Elders and how do they assist in planning your next life? Who are members of your soul family and what role did they play in your past lives as well as in your current life? What are the karmic issues and attributes you brought into this life? Using past-life regression to identify a significant former life, followed by an exploration of the afterlife to experience the pre-life planning session for this life, this book answers the most commonly asked questions about death and rebirth. Follow the karmic journey of 25 volunteers as they come to understand their soul’s purpose and their role in designing their present life. In thinking about your life, you will discover that you did, indeed, do it to yourself for the greatest reason of all—your soul’s growth.
The aim of Soul Purpose is to present some up to date information with regards to the new spiritual energies we are receiving and the possible changes we may go through as we begin to absorb them. It is in no way a definitive explanation of what is happening - we each have our own perspectives and experiences in life, it is just that on some levels many experiences are now being shared at a group level. It is this theme of us as a collective, a group commonly sharing lifes themes, which has been of interest to me. Soul Purpose is presented in two parts; the first part is informational, covered under various chapter headings that you may already relate to. Reading them is initially a mental exercise, but its really the feelings, impressions and energy of the content that matters. You may find that within the gist of a subject you may sense, feel, or visualise a way to receive an understanding, building a relationship with the imagery and ideas. Part two of Soul Purpose contains 22 meditation exercises that can be used to balance the physical, subtle and mental aspects of ourselves. They are practical tools that help our bodies to remember levels of their spiritual imprinting, raising our energy levels and allowing for something new, internally, to take place. Our sensitivities are increasing as time goes on; they are a biological response to the changes in energy of our environment. The meditations are a way of managing these sensitivities, building an energetic platform on which to open more to the energies that are on offer. They offer a gentle, sympathetic alignment to natural law and divine will.
