This book is written in British English by an actual Brit who used to have to curtsey to the local aristocrat from “the big house” when she visited the village school at Christmas. The spelling and grammar is British English throughout. Splendid! It is the first in a complete series of eight novels, The Discreet Investigations of Lord and Lady Calaway.
