The Mongrel by Julius Streicher Pdf

The Mongrel is translated from the original Third Reich book with the title Der Pudelmopsdackelpinscher - literally translatable as The Poodle-Pug-Dachshund-Fox-Terrier (which is also the title of one of the chapters) by Ernst Hiemer. The original illustrations by Willi Hofman - over thirty small black and white sketches - are also included. Nonetheless, this book consists primarily of text, not pictures. Originally published by the Strmer publishing house of Julius Streicher in Nuremberg in 1940, this now rare - and much sought after by collectors - book was aimed at children. It contains a dozen stories about dangerous or harmful animals, each followed by an unflattering comparison to Jewry. These animals include, but are not limited to, hyenas, grasshoppers, blood-suckers, poisonous snakes, tape-worms and bacillus. This book is also rare, even among Third Reich books, in its open call to totally destroy Jewry, and indeed world-wide, as a necessary final step in an inescapable struggle to the death between Jewry and all the non-Jewish folks of the world. Here is a quote from page 50: Enlightenment alone, however, cannot solve the Jewish question. A folk that knows the Jew must also have the strength to ruthlessly act against the world enemy. Just like the snake threat is only then totally removed, if the poisonous snakes are totally cleaned out, so is the Jewish question only then solved, if Jewry is destroyed. Mankind must know that in the Jewish question there is only a hard "either-or"; for: If we do not kill the Jewish poisonous snake, then it will kill us! Softcover. 64pp.

The Mongrel by Anthony J Barak, Ph.D.,Anthony J. Barak Pdf

In the early 1800s, the outpost of Bellevue, Nebraska Territory was the home of the Omaha Indians as well as that of Logan Fontenelle, the half-breed son of the famous fur-trader Lucien Fontenelle. A famous writer visiting Bellevue in those days once referred to half-breed children like Logan as mongrels. It soon became evident that Logan was anything but a mongrel and he rose to hero and leader status among both Indians and whites. Constantly harassed and attacked by their enemies within the Sioux Nation, the Omaha found a golden period of tribal esteem under Logan's guidance. At age 22, he accomplished what other tribes and leaders could not. Using his two-culture background, Logan forged a fierce fighting force among the Omaha and other plains Indians and confronted the common Sioux enemy. In doing so, he brought peace to the peoples of the Missouri River valley. The Mongrel as a dramatized account of Logan Fontenelle's life, is told against a historical backdrop of when Indian buffalo hunts, the Morman migration and the fur trade were all part of the Nebraska experience. Dr. Barak was a World War II navy officer serving in the Pacific Theater. He received a Ph.D. in biochemistry at Missouri University. As a professor, he has taught biochemistry and internal medicine and conducted liver research at the University of Nebraska and Omaha VA Medical Centers for 40 years.

Mongrel by Sayra Begum Pdf

The front door of Shuna's family home acted as a gateway to Bangladesh. Nothing haram passed through this door, this was a devout house. When Shuna walked through this door, she switched her rebellious face to her pious face, which eagerly absorbed the teaching of the Prophet, striving to be a good Muslim girl. The switching between these two faces became increasingly difficult as they grew further and further apart. 'Yes, yes, yes I'll marry you!' I said to David. Although, after the celestial shock wore off and dull reality set in, I realised there was a slight problem. I would have to tell my very traditional parents that I was going to marry a non-Muslim and confess my secret life. It's my wedding day. My parents are absent. I'm not surprised. Why would my parents want to celebrate their daughter's eternal damnation in hell fire?

Mongrel Nation by Clarence E. Walker Pdf

The debate over the affair between Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemings rarely rises above the question of "Did they or didn’t they?" But lost in the argument over the existence of such a relationship are equally urgent questions about a history that is more complex, both sexually and culturally, than most of us realize. Mongrel Nation seeks to uncover this complexity, as well as the reasons it is so often obscured. Clarence Walker contends that the relationship between Jefferson and Hemings must be seen not in isolation but in the broader context of interracial affairs within the plantation complex. Viewed from this perspective, the relationship was not unusual or aberrant but was fairly typical. For many, this is a disturbing realization, because it forces us to abandon the idea of American exceptionalism and re-examine slavery in America as part of a long, global history of slaveholders frequently crossing the color line. More than many other societies--and despite our obvious mixed-race population--our nation has displayed particular reluctance to acknowledge this dynamic. In a country where, as early as 1662, interracial sex was already punishable by law, an understanding of the Hemings-Jefferson relationship has consistently met with resistance. From Jefferson’s time to our own, the general public denied--or remained oblivious to--the possibility of the affair. Historians, too, dismissed the idea, even when confronted with compelling arguments by fellow scholars. It took the DNA findings of 1998 to persuade many (although, to this day, doubters remain). The refusal to admit the likelihood of this union between master and slave stems, of course, from Jefferson’s symbolic significance as a Founding Father. The president’s apologists, both before and after the DNA findings, have constructed an iconic Jefferson that tells us more about their own beliefs--and the often alarming demands of those beliefs--than it does about the interaction between slave owners and slaves. Much more than a search for the facts about two individuals, the debate over Jefferson and Hemings is emblematic of tensions in our society between competing conceptions of race and of our nation.

The Nature and Development of Animal Intelligence by Wesley Mills Pdf

"From various quarters the suggestion has come to me to prepare a work on Comparative Psychology, as it was known that this subject has engaged my attention in no small measure for many years. In determining the form the work should take, I had to consider whether to re-cast all the material I had been accumulating for the last fifteen years, or republish what had already appeared in an almost unaltered form. It seemed to me that in the end the advancement of the subject would be best served by the latter course. While there may be some repetition in the papers that constitute the first part of the work, this will serve to emphasise the views that have been impressed more and more on one who has for ten years been in daily intimate association with animals, and a close and unprejudiced (as far as may be) observer of their life-ways. Unless I mistake, there is now an interest in the study of animals altogether unprecedented, and I hope to, see appear, within the next few years, accounts of researches which, in many respects, will be in advance of anything yet produced. It is largely with the view of stimulating such researches that I have concluded to publish the principal results of my own observations and thinkings up to the present time, in a form readily accessible to all who may be interested in such studies. The work is divisible into four parts. Part I consists of addresses, in which my own views of the subject are set forth. Part II of studies, largely practical, of two interesting states--feigning and hibernation. These are on the borderland between natural history and psychology, but must have special interest from whatever point of view regarded. Part III is a storehouse of reliable facts, from which each reader may draw his own conclusions. Part IV consists of discussions on a subject of considerable importance, as will be evident. This division of the work into parts rather than chapters permits of the reading of any one division of the work by those who may not desire to peruse the whole"--Preface.
