The Mystery of Adam by Edith Neumaier Pdf

How many people still believe that the first human being was a man? If the Bible shows that the first earth creature God created was male and female and that the woman was formed from the side, not the rib, then biblical gender equality has to be accepted as a fact, and the subordination of women needs to be acknowledged as the result of sin. The original Hebrew word that was translated as rib is sela. An accurate translation of this word should be side. Because the first woman was formed from the side and all ingredients (bone and flesh) were taken from the first human being, the man and the woman have common origin. God called both the first man and the first woman Adam (Genesis 5:2). However, after the Fall, the man kept the name Adam, which is the Hebrew word for human being, for himself and renamed the woman. By doing so, he stole humanity from the woman (and consequently from all women) and reduced her to the role of being the mother of all living, which is the translation of the Hebrew word Eve. The ruling of the man over the woman was not Gods intention, but the result of sin (Genesis 3:16). What happened in Genesis 3:16 was corrected in John 3:16. John tells us, God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. This promise was made to the whole Adam, not only the male part. God redeems both the man and the woman equally. Now we do not live under sin anymore, but under grace. Therefore, Paul can write in Galatians 3:2729, For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abrahams descendants, heirs according to promise. This promise belongs to both the man and the woman. Christ reunites the male and the female again as one and calls both of them Adam.

The Mystery of Eve and Adam by Ron Moe-Lobeda Pdf

What if the story of Eve and Adam was not meant to be a story about creation and the origin of life? What if Eve and Adam were not personifications of all women and men? What if the curse on the woman had nothing to do with the physical pain of giving birth? What if working by the sweat of the brow was a description of the slavery that existed under the monarchy? What if being cast out of the garden of Eden was a metaphor for the deportation of people from Judah to Babylon? The author of this book takes readers on a journey of inquiry leading to the conclusion that the story of Eve and Adam was authored by the theological school of Jeremiah in order to dissuade the Judean people never to reinstate the monarchy after their return from Babylon--a monarchy that previously was responsible for so much infant mortality, subjugation of women, and enslavement of its own people. At the heart of this journey is the discovery that Eve and Adam actually are metaphors for Israel and Judah--two nations that chose to have a king like other nations and suffered the consequences.

Understanding the Book of Revelation: The Mystery of the Book of Revelation is Finally Revealed by Ph. D. Donald E. Mbosowo,Professor Donald E. Mbosowo Pdf

This book is about the truth revealed from the mystery hidden in the Book of Revelation. The Book of Revelation is about the missing information revealed to John because there was no record in the Bible about what happened to the perfect creation in Genesis 1:1. There was no record about Adam, created by the I AM, as the first God and his generations before this present world. The Bible has not recorded the lineage of Jesus from the I AM in order to present to the world who is Jesus. This is the truth that must be known. The Book of Revelation had been misunderstood because of the political interpretation of its images. In John 8:32, Jesus says, "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" Here, the truth, refers to Jesus who has power to set humanity free from the bondage of the God of this world. Jesus declares in John 14: 6, that He is the "Truth". After the gospel had been preached for thousands of years, humanity is still in captivity of the God of this world. Many people keep asking why a good God can allow these types of suffering. This shows that Jesus the "Truth" is not yet known. Confessing Jesus as a Savior is different from knowing Him. This has been done for thousands of years and the world is getting worst. When Jesus, the "Truth" is known, He will set humanity free from this spiritual enslavement. The revealed truth from the mystery in the Book of Revelation, presented here, is a divine journey toward knowing Jesus, the "Truth". I encourage everyone to read this book.

Stop Taking Sides by Adam Mabry Pdf

Love and wrath. Sovereignty and responsibility. Victory and suffering. Some of the truths we read in the Bible seem to be in opposition to each other. We naturally tend to gravitate towards a side, but when we lose sight of one truth in order to protect the other, we are in danger of becoming proud, creating division, and diminishing our faith. In this compelling, inspiring, and at times provocative book, Adam Mabry urges us to stop taking sides and refuse to participate in tribalism by mapping out a way to hold in tension truths that we so often divide over. You’ll discover how our joy and our witness rest on us learning to hold to all that the Scriptures teach and growing in virtue as we do. You’ll learn how to wrestle with all that the Scriptures say, to embrace mystery, to listen closely, and to speak with clarity.

More intrigue develops when flowers with amazing healing and rejuvenating powers surface in the garden at the school where Conci D'Amato McVey teaches. The chase is on as word gets out about these plants purported to be from the Garden of Eden. Maryann will not be the only casualty in this quest for immortality and power. The Art of Rest by Adam Mabry Pdf

Discover the secret to real, realistic, non-rules-based rest For some of us, resting seems like a waste of time-it means we're missing out on other things. For others, rest seems like a luxury-there's simply too much to do. And for almost all of us, we crave rest, but don't always know how to. This warm, realistic, humorous book shows us the huge spiritual, emotional and physical rewards of rest. It shows us how rest gives us time to spend with God and remember his grace. Discover how rest fuels our joy and confidence in God's sovereignty as we learn to depend on him, and not our own efforts, and are refreshed by the power of the Holy Spirit. Adam Mabry shows us how rest helps us make space for relationships, shared experiences and moments to remember; how it liberates us from the pressure of self-reliance; how it gives us a chance to think and reflect; and how it stops us from burning out. Finally, this book casts a realistic vision for rest that is less rule and more rhythm-less onerous restriction and more liberating art form. Adam Mabry helps us to learn the 'art of rest' with some practical suggestions. The world never stops. But we need to. And as Christians we can by having faith to hit pause and experience the rich rewards of God-given rest.
