Secret Goddesses of Tantra - An Esoteric Understanding of Tantra and Philosophical Interpretation of Dasha Mahavidya by Mehul Vora Pdf

About the Book: What would you call a group of Goddesses that wear garlands of skull, while the other drinks her own blood? A Goddess with incomparable beauty while the other is a crone. A Goddess that loves leftovers while the other demands cleanliness. This book discusses Dasha Mahavidyas - one of the most important Goddesses of Tantra. As the laws of science define energy as primordial ever existent, that is utilized through a medium, similarly, Dasha Mahavidyas are the primordial Sakti or energy, that creates, destroys, and sustains the universe. They are Mahavidyas or “Great Knowledge” where each Goddess has something distinct to teach. Every Goddess in the book is dealt independently - illustrating appearance, stories of origin, symbolism, various forms and relation to other Goddesses, Mantras, Yantra, Sadhana procedure, temples and any parallels that can be drawn from other cultures. Tantra is often perceived as black magic, voodoo or art of love, but in reality, Tantra is “A way of life” that stretches the body to its limit and prepares one to walk the path of liberation. Tantra uses various objects that may otherwise be a taboo or appalling in nature, however, it is not what it appears to be. The objects are just extreme tools to control senses and mind. This book breaks such myths around Tantra and explores its hidden knowledge. It attempts to reason every aspect from a literary and philosophical point of view. About the Author: Mehul Vora is an accomplished writer, speaker, astrologer and a proponent of ancient Indian culture and Tantra. He is a vivid reader of ancient texts which inspire him to interpret knowledge in a simplified manner so that everyone can relish the treasures of wisdom. He has written on many topics that range from ancient history to world mythology. Mehul brings his experiences and knowledge of Tantra in this book.

Secret of a satisfied life - an Autobiography by Bhagyashree Ghosh Pdf

WHY SHOULD I READ THIS BOOK? I have heard a lot of stories of dissatisfaction among the Sarkari Babus be it a peon, a bank manager or a top ranked IAS officer. Many of them will complain of job stress, work load and an ever mounting pressure on their head. And eventually they face lack of time for personal and family life, or any other leisure time. They get bored, gets sad, depressed of their daily routine and tries to find an escape! These people eventually become a typical Sarkari Babu, the ones who are not so friendly to deal with if we happen to go to them, in their office. Some of them are so fed up that they do not work as per requirement, a few of them finds odd ways to earn, they may get into corruption or less productive in ability. All such activities sometimes bring a bad picture to the reputation of some public sector enterprises. A typical Government job aspirant would either ignore these aspects or is actually ignorant of it. He/she will only focus on grabbing that particular job. After getting it they work for a couple of years with zeal and enthusiasm but eventually become a Sarkai babu! And a viscous cycle of unhappiness in the world is continues. Let us pause here and ask, Why? Why it happens? What went wrong? Why the people who were once mad after a particular service/job are unhappy now when they have it in reality? What is the solution? How to find a way out? ✔ The book resembles true life experiences. If you, or any of your concerned, is preparing for Competitive exams like Banking, Civil Services, SSC CGL and other Government Jobs, it is worth reading. ✔ If you are planning to quit your existing job for the sake of preparing for a Government job, Caution! ✔ If you believe Competitive Exam is the only way to get a job! Wrong track dude! Read this book. ✔ If you believe you are getting job security in Government job and for this you ought to have one, You actually ought to read this book. ✔ If you think only a Government job will earn respect in a society ask a peon in a Sarkari office! Let me clarify that initially our thoughts may differ but soon you will start to co-relate and justify the journey of my career which has not ended, but started. You will start to agree that blindly going after a government job preparation is the worst thing a person can does to torture oneself. No offence with anyone although. This is just for the people who have the potential to channelize their energy somewhere else but is there preparing for a wrong field.

The Essence of Shreemad Bhagavatam by Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda Pdf

The Shreemad Bhagavatam is a scripture unlike any other. It is the last and greatest work of the great sage, Sri Vedavyasa, and serves as the culmination of all the Vedas and Puranas. Above all the many things it accomplishes, it tells us that God has, and continues to, incarnate in many forms to make Himself known to His children. He walks with them, talks with them, laughs with them − He lives with them. So how can we come to know Him? This is why we have the Shreemad Bhagavatam, the crown jewel of Hindu holy scripture. When it is expounded to us by a true living embodiment of the Divine like Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda, we have something incomparable to anything else − we have a firsthand experience of God Himself. Do not simply read this book. Relive every experience, every word, in the core of your heart and you will find that God doesn’t exist in some far away plane, nor is He confined to the scriptures of yesteryear. He lives in the heart of every living being today. Find Him, love Him and be free.

The Ocean of Heroes by Tsunehiko Sugiki Pdf

The Śrīḍākārṇavamahāyoginītantrarāja (abbreviated to Ḍākārṇava, “Ocean of Ḍākas or Heroes”) is one of the last scriptures belonging to the Buddhist Saṃvara tradition in South Asia. It was composed in the eastern area of the Indian subcontinent sometime between the late 10th and 12th centuries, and its extant version was most likely compiled around the early 12th century. Chapter 15 of the Ḍākārṇava, (hereafter Ḍākārṇava 15) teaches a large-scale and elaborate maṇḍala of the highest god Heruka that comprises 986 major deities. This monograph presents the first critical edition and English translation (with annotation) of the Sanskrit text of the Ḍākārṇava 15, elucidates its form and meanings, and clarifies its significance in the history of Buddhism in South Asia. I also provide the first critical edition and English translation (with annotation) of Jayasena's Ratnapadmarāganidhi ("Precious Ruby Treasury," composed in the 12th century), which is the oldest manual for visualizing the Heruka maṇḍala of the Ḍākārṇava 15. In the last stage of the history of Tantric Buddhism in India, when various Buddhist Tantric traditions were already present, some texts were composed, such as the Kālacakratantra and the Vajrāvalī of Abhayākaragupta. These texts provide inclusive Tantric systems in which various preceding traditions are integrated and reorganized. The Ḍākārṇava is one such text. The Heruka maṇḍala in the Ḍākārṇava 15 is comprehensive and integrates deities from various Tantric traditions and components of the Buddhist cosmos within the framework of the Saṃvara system.

The History of Customs in Sui, Tang and Five Dynasties by Li Shi Pdf

The book is the volume of “The History of Customs in Sui, Tang and Five Dynasties” among a series of books of “Deep into China Histories”. The earliest known written records of the history of China date from as early as 1250 BC, from the Shang dynasty (c. 1600–1046 BC) and the Bamboo Annals (296 BC) describe a Xia dynasty (c. 2070–1600 BC) before the Shang, but no writing is known from the period The Shang ruled in the Yellow River valley, which is commonly held to be the cradle of Chinese civilization. However, Neolithic civilizations originated at various cultural centers along both the Yellow River and Yangtze River. These Yellow River and Yangtze civilizations arose millennia before the Shang. With thousands of years of continuous history, China is one of the world's oldest civilizations, and is regarded as one of the cradles of civilization. The Zhou dynasty (1046–256 BC) supplanted the Shang and introduced the concept of the Mandate of Heaven to justify their rule. The central Zhou government began to weaken due to external and internal pressures in the 8th century BC, and the country eventually splintered into smaller states during the Spring and Autumn period. These states became independent and warred with one another in the following Warring States period. Much of traditional Chinese culture, literature and philosophy first developed during those troubled times. In 221 BC Qin Shi Huang conquered the various warring states and created for himself the title of Huangdi or "emperor" of the Qin, marking the beginning of imperial China. However, the oppressive government fell soon after his death, and was supplanted by the longer-lived Han dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD). Successive dynasties developed bureaucratic systems that enabled the emperor to control vast territories directly. In the 21 centuries from 206 BC until AD 1912, routine administrative tasks were handled by a special elite of scholar-officials. Young men, well-versed in calligraphy, history, literature, and philosophy, were carefully selected through difficult government examinations. China's last dynasty was the Qing (1644–1912), which was replaced by the Republic of China in 1912, and in the mainland by the People's Republic of China in 1949.Chinese history has alternated between periods of political unity and peace, and periods of war and failed statehood – the most recent being the Chinese Civil War (1927–1949). China was occasionally dominated by steppe peoples, most of whom were eventually assimilated into the Han Chinese culture and population. Between eras of multiple kingdoms and warlordism, Chinese dynasties have ruled parts or all of China; in some eras control stretched as far as Xinjiang and Tibet, as at present. Traditional culture, and influences from other parts of Asia and the Western world (carried by waves of immigration, cultural assimilation, expansion, and foreign contact), form the basis of the modern culture of China.
