The "Snake" is a symbolic biblical reference to Satan, the devil. The Bible says in 1 Peter 5:8 that Satan go around pretending to be a roaring lion in order to intimidate and scare people into allowing him to bring trouble into their lives. However, the Bible also teaches that Satan is only "pretending" to be a lion. The Bible says that we have authority over Satan, and that he is, in fact, a defeated foe! This book teaches people how to fight against the devil with Scriptural methods.
The African Lion, Dr Chika Onyeani, is back and roaring. The author of the phenomenally successful Capitalist Nigger offers a new collection of his speeches, articles and other writings over the last fifteen years. In Roar of the African Lion, Dr Onyeani's unblinking gaze and plain speaking are directed at many of the burning issues of the day. He outlines his revolutionary Spider Web Doctrine—aimed at financial self-reliance and the upliftment of black communities—and attacks the parasitic leaders whose greed has robbed the people of Africa of opportunities for advancement and development since their liberation. He is equally scornful of the failures of the African elite to influence the direction of their countries, and has trenchant comments to make about racism, xenophobia and hypocrisy in Africa, America and elsewhere. Dr Onyeani also tackles the persistence of slavery on the continent, the West's ambivalent attitude to aid and debt relief, rampant corruption and 'whiteness' of Barack Obama. Looking to the future, he cautions Africa to be wary of China's embrace and to pursue its own solutions to African problems.
He was the instructor of a mysterious troop and the number one soldier that all forces feared when he returned to the city and the dragons entered the sea he was also a prodigal who had fallen into the trap of millions of young ladies.

It Wasn't Roaring, It Was Weeping by Lisa-Jo Baker Pdf
An honest and lyrical coming-of-age memoir of growing up in South Africa at the height of apartheid, and an invitation to recognize and refuse to repeat the sins of our fathers—from the bestselling author of Never Unfriended “Heartfelt, emotionally charged reflections . . . [a] bracing memoir.”—Kirkus Review “Important. Riveting. Unforgettable . . . a profoundly captivating story that can profoundly change your own story.”—Ann Voskamp, New York Times bestselling author of WayMaker Born White in the heart of Zululand during the racial apartheid, Lisa-Jo Baker longed to write a new future for her children—a longing that set her on a journey to understand where she fit into a story of violence and faith, history and race. Before marriage and motherhood, she came to the United States to study to become a human rights advocate. When she naïvely walked right into America’s own turbulent racial landscape, Baker experienced the kind of painful awakening that is both individual and universal, personal and social. Yet years would go by before she traced this American trauma back to her own South African past. Baker was a teenager when her mother died of cancer, leaving her with her father. Though they shared a language of faith and justice, she often feared him, unaware that his fierce temper had deep roots in a family’s and a nation’s pain. Decades later, old wounds reopened when she found herself spiraling into a terrifying version of her father, screaming herself hoarse at her son. Only then did Baker realize that to go forward—to refuse to repeat the sins of our fathers—we must first go back. With a story that stretches from South Africa’s outback to Washington, D.C., It Wasn’t Roaring, It Was Weeping is a courageous look at inherited hurts and prejudices, and a hope-filled example for all who feel lost in life or worried that they’re too off course to make the necessary corrections. Baker’s story shows that it’s never too late to be free.

Paper Tigers - Roaring Lions by James Emlyn Griffiths Pdf
This is the story of two young men who joined the Hong Kong police force and after completing their training found themselves confronting rioters and demonstrators on the streets of the colony at the time that Chairman Mao Tsetung was inflicting socialism at first and then communism on China by way of the so-called Red Guards who where a mix of students and peasants who were largely responsible for the purging and arrest of thousands of Doctors, Lawyers, Professional businessmen and the Bougeoisie, mostly peasant farmers. While the characters portrayed are products of my imagination and bear no resemblance to any living person, much of the storyline is based on facts of the Cultural Revolution as it effected Hong Kong from May 1967 thru February 1968, which I witnessed first hand.
