But as it has been propofed to you, I think it would be a bafe and unworthy condue't meanly to hide my head or to run away from the difficulty. On the contrary, it is the duty of every honeft man, if he is convinced that the judgment which he has formed is a right one, to declare it publicly in his place, to abide by it, and boldly to face any difficulties which may encounter is.
