The Willie Lynch Letter and the Making of a Slave by Willie Lynch Pdf

Willie Lynch, a British slave owner from the West Indies, stepped onto the shores of colonial Virginia in 1712, bearing secrets that would shape the fate of generations to come. Within this manuscript, allegedly transcribed from Lynch’s speech to American slaveholders on the banks of the James River, lies a blueprint for subjugation. Lynch’s genius lay not in brute force but in psychological warfare. He understood that to break a people, one must first break their spirit. His methods—pitiless and cunning—sowed seeds of distrust, pitting slave against slave, exploiting vulnerabilities, and perpetuating a cycle of suffering. This document sheds light on the brutal realities of slavery and the ways in which its legacy continues to shape contemporary society

Emancipated From Mental Slavery by Marcus Garvey Pdf

Right now melanin, the aromatic biopolymer and organic semiconductor that makes Black people black is worth over $380 a gram more than gold. In just a few short years, on August 13, 2020 the Red, Black and Green flag will be celebrated as the colors of all African people. We also know the song lyric "Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our minds," commonly associated with Bob Marley, actually originated with Marcus Garvey. “We are going to emancipate ourselves from mental slavery, for though others may free the body, none but ourselves can free the mind.” Those are the words Marcus Garvey spoke in either October or November 1937. The place? Menelik Hall in Sydney, Nova Scotia. This selection of sayings of the Honorable Marcus Mosiah Garvey, provides an introduction to the mind of a man capable of speaking words into existence which continue to have a profound impact on those who hear them to this very day. Marcus Garvey was a journalist, editor, publisher, as well as founder, and President-General of the Universal Negro Improvement Association (UNIA.) This book serves as an introduction to the philosophy which made his ideas known worldwide. Notable among them is the phrase which has come to many sung as a paraphrased lyric by Bob Marley. Its organic power and compelling urge for a new mental state among the human race can not seriously be denied. This book is a distillation of Garvey thought. The product of years studying the words works and deeds of a man who left a legacy that is still so potent efforts continue to dissuade seekers of truth from his vision. 2012 the Ending of the Willie Lynch Letter by Le Brown a. K. a. Phenomenal Le,Leander Brown Pdf

"I wrote this piece to enlighten the minds of people in the world, especially blacks/African-Americans, about the negative psychological effects of the Willie Lynch Letter. This malicious labyrinth has impacted many lives, causing ignorance, broken homes, disrespectfulness, and poor health throughout the nation. I'm concentrating more on aiding blacks/African-Americans because this ethnic group statistically leads America in negative aspects of life, such as heart disease, poverty, broken homes, incarcerations, lack of education, etc.-and the fact that this system was directed toward African-Americans. Although all cultures and nationalities suffer from such downfalls because of such a melting pot society we live in, any man, woman, or child is capable of falling victim to Lynch's negative behavioral application. Mankind, as a whole, needs an improvement." About the Author Le Brown a.k.a. "Phenomenal Le" was born and raised in Florence, South Carolina. He currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The New Sultan by Soner Cagaptay Pdf

In a world of rising tensions between Russia and the United States, the Middle East and Europe, Sunnis and Shiites, Islamism and liberalism, Turkey is at the epicentre. And at the heart of Turkey is its right-wing populist president, Recep Tayyip Erdo?an. Since 2002, Erdo?an has consolidated his hold on domestic politics while using military and diplomatic means to solidify Turkey as a regional power. His crackdown has been brutal and consistent - scores of journalists arrested, academics officially banned from leaving the country, university deans fired and many of the highest-ranking military officers arrested. In some senses, the nefarious and failed 2016 coup has given Erdo?an the licence to make good on his repeated promise to bring order and stability under a 'strongman'. Here, leading Turkish expert Soner Cagaptay will look at Erdo?an's roots in Turkish history, what he believes in and how he has cemented his rule, as well as what this means for the world. The book will also unpick the 'threats' Erdogan has worked to combat - from the liberal Turks to the Gulen movement, from coup plotters to Kurdish nationalists - all of which have culminated in the crisis of modern Turkey.

Ruptured Attachment by Dr. Sametta Hill Pdf

Most psychological research studies today account for the relational problems of African American heterosexual couples inability to stay together in terms of contemporary factors such as female-headed households, mass incarceration, racial achievement gap in academic performance, infidelity, etc. These factors are symptoms of a more foundational problem. The intergenerational traumatic impact of slavery and its aftermath (e.g., Jim Crow) is the source for these couples inability to stay together. This book will be restricted to historical traumas originating under slavery. The practices implemented during slavery disrupted bonding and secure attachment between adult heterosexual couples. A deeper psychohistorical understanding of this intergenerational disruption will help us understand current issues among African American men and women. The book will move beyond individual and couple dyad perspective and bring family system concepts to bear in understanding the transgenerational transmission of trauma and its contemporary manifestations in intimate relationships. The purpose is to answer this question: What are the psychohistorical effects of psychological slavery on attachment and trust in the intimate relationship among African American men and women? This book will utilize sociological and psychological theories drawn from functionalism, neofunctionalism, attachment theory, family systems, and other relevant literatures to develop a psychohistorical analysis of relational problems of heterosexual African American couples today having transgenerational roots in slavery. Attachment theory will be used to explain attachment and trust ruptures in contemporary intimate relationships and their psychohistorical roots. Emotionally focused therapy is the suggested treatment approach that may help the couple repair attachment ruptures.

" Reversing the Willie" by Elbert Hopkins Pdf

Reversing the Willie has been part of my life. Hopefully, after you read it, it will become part of your life. It was written to bring people together in understanding and to increase the quality of life; even though there are different nationalities and different mind-sets, we are one people and that should be a people of God. Everyone and everything is equal in Gods eyes. He is not a respecter or persons. We ought to come together, helping one another in all aspects of life, instead of making it a competition to see who is better. And this competition has caused the beginning of envy and jealousy in the world. We need to get along, it has become a constant fight for control and power. There is only one controlling force. That controlling force is God. Seek God for direction; for his master plan.

USA and Racial Divide by Margaret Gray Robinson Pdf

USA and Racial Divide: Lord Heal Me and Heal Our Land addresses racism from the perspective of a sixty-three-year-old African American Christian woman who has struggled with her ability to experience the love of God because of her contradictory reality. The book, though controversial, will benefit all readers because it exposes the true culprit of division whether in races, homes, families, nations or our world. Attention is given to the role of the Body of Christ (church) in this sinister attack of the enemy, and how we are without excuse in continuing justifying its acceptance in our society. "It cannot be done by the marches of the 1960s, but by a spiritual revolution, hearts must change" were the words that were given in answer to a prayer about racism in our nation. Understanding God's original plan for mankind (male and female), understanding who God is and who man is, understanding human behavior, exploring historical facts about our nation and African descendants, recognizing the true enemy of division, understanding that racism is the symptom of a greater spiritual problem that cannot be handled by natural means are all covered in this book. The author reminds the Body of Christ of its role in perpetuating racism and the need for repentance so we can be the light of the world that we are called to be. We have been given the ministry of reconciliation; however, we remain powerless if we behave as the world. Although many are saved, there is a need for spiritual maturity; otherwise, we remain babes in Christ and behave just like the world. "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed" 1Pe 2:24

Healing in the Homeland by Margaret Mitchell Armand Pdf

Margaret Mitchell Armand presents a cutting edge interdisciplinary terrain inside an indigenous exploration of her homeland. Her contribution to the historiography of Haïtian Vodou demonstrates the struggle for its recognition in Haïti’s post-independence phase as well as its continued misunderstanding. Through a methodological, original study of the colonial culture of slavery and its dehumanization, Healing in the Homeland: Haitian Vodou Traditions examines the sociocultural and economic oppression stemming from the local and international derived politics and religious economic oppression. While concentrating the narratives on stories of indigenous elites educated in the western traditions, Armand moves pass the variables of race to locate the historical conjuncture at the root of the persistent Haïtian national division. Supported by scholarships of indigenous studies and current analysis, she elucidates how a false consciousness can be overcome to reclaim cultural identity and pride, and include a sociocultural, national educational program, and political platform that embraces traditional needs in a global context of mutual respect. While shredding the western adages, and within an indigenous model of understanding, this book purposefully brings forth the struggle of the African people in Haïti.

Why Are So Many Black Men in Prison? by Demico Boothe Pdf

African-American males are being imprisoned at an alarming and unprecedented rate. Out of the more than 11 million black adult males in the U.S. population, nearly 1.5 million are in prisons and jails with another 3.5 million more on probation or parole or who have previously been on probation or parole. Black males make up the majority of the total prison population, and due to either present or past incarceration is the most socially disenfranchised group of American citizens in the country today. This book, which was penned by Boothe while he was still incarcerated, details the author's personal story of a negligent upbringing in an impoverished community, his subsequent engagement in criminal activity (drug dealing), his incarceration, and his release from prison and experiencing of the crippling social disenfranchisement that comes with being an ex-felon. The author then relates his personal experiences and realizations to the seminal problems within the African-American community, federal government, and criminal justice system that cause his own experiences to be the same experiences of millions of other young black men. This book focuses on the totality of how and why the U.S. prison system became the largest prison system in the world, and is filled with relevant statistical and historical references and controversial facts and quotes from notable persons and sources.
