Theocentric Psychology - Synergizing Spiritual Intelligence and Empiric Science in the Field of Psychology by Dr. Mark O'Doherty Pdf

Open Letter From Nobel Peace Prize Laureates and Citizens of the World Against War and Nuclear Weapons: We reject war and nuclear weapons. We call on all our fellow citizens of the world to join us in protecting our planet, home for all of us, from those who threaten to destroy it. The invasion of Ukraine has created a humanitarian disaster for its people. The entire world is facing the greatest threat in history: a large-scale nuclear war, capable of destroying our civilization and causing vast ecological damage across the Earth. We call for an immediate ceasefire and the withdrawal of all Russian military forces from Ukraine, and for all possible efforts at dialogue to prevent this ultimate disaster. We call on Russia and NATO to explicitly renounce any use of nuclear weapons in this conflict, and we call on all countries to support the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons to ensure that we never again face a similar moment of nuclear danger. The time to ban and eliminate nuclear weapons is now. It is the only way to guarantee that the inhabitants of the planet will be safe from this existential threat. It is either the end of nuclear weapons, or the end of us. We reject governance through imposition and threats, and we advocate for dialogue, coexistence and justice. A world without nuclear weapons is necessary and possible, and together we will build it. It is urgent that we give peace a chance. Signatories list of Nobel Peace Prize Laureates: His Holiness The Dalai Lama (1989) International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (1985) International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (2017) Juan Manuel Santos (2016) Kailash Satyarthi (2014) Leymah Gbowee (2011) Tawakkul Karman (2011) Muhammad Yunus (2006) David Trimble (1998) Jody Williams (1997) Jose Ramos-Horta (1996) Pugwash Conference on Science and World Affairs (1995) Óscar Arias Sánchez (1987) Lech Walesa (1983) American Friends Service Committee (1947) International Peace Bureau (1910)

Healing the Holy See - Improving Spiritual Intelligence, Evolution and Human Rights in the Roman Catholic Church and other Religions by Mark O'Doherty Pdf

This book aims to further harmony and human rights in Catholicism and the world at large; by exploring delicate issues within the Catholic Church, such as clerical celibacy, which ought to be discarded, according to the author - as well as gender inequality; recent revolts in the Vatican showing that the church is still failing women. While Pope Francis has opened up more discussion about women's roles and appointed women in key Vatican positions, the topic of them becoming priests is still very much taboo. Quantum Theory - and the ethical and psychological ramifications of spiritual intelligence - is also an approach which the world religions should adopt, according to the author, as the world is always in motion - constantly changing, developing and evolving... However, first and foremost this book advocates that we all have to work together on making the world a better place - by being open-minded and willing to overbridge differences; so that peace, prosperity and love can be manifested in the world.

The Legacy of the United States of America – A Country of Confident Idiots facilitating Militarism, Nuclear Armament and Disregard for Basic Human Rights by Dr. Mark O'Doherty Pdf

Ranked only 20th in Global Education - but filling the number one spot when it comes to self-esteem - the US has become a country of confident idiots. Many American people - such as ex-National Security Advisor John Bolton - personify what American politics is all about: Aggression, open hostility and winning; no matter what the cost. This book also addresses America's aggressive foreign policy - that Militarism and warmongering play a legitimate role in international politics - which is not only counterproductive, but also distorts national spending priorities; with millions of poverty stricken Americans taking refuge in a negative lifestyle of individualism - leading to crime, alcoholism, drug-addiction, homelessness and increased gun-violence. Critical, but also deeply sensitive and humane, this book explores social scientific and Christian approaches, so that America can be made great again. Peacebuilding Policies - such as conflict resolution and international cooperation - are also explored in this work. US HEALTHCARE CRISIS: Amid the pandemic, the crisis in the US healthcare system has become evident; as up to 35 million Americans are estimated to see their health coverage disappear in the middle of this Covid-19 nightmare. And premiums for those who retain their health insurance in this crisis could increase by up to 40%. As stories circulate of $34,000 coronavirus medical bills, the uninsured remain terrified of going bankrupt just to get tested and treated for Covid-19. In many cases, Americans just cannot afford to go to a doctor or the hospital. Hence it's imperative that a Basic Income Guarantee (BIG) - together with basic health insurance - is implemented in the US. It should also be noted, that inequality and social discrimination of people is increasing dramatically in the US. As things stand, the Biden administration is unwilling to implement a Basic Income Guarantee (BIG); which would be necessary to guarantee basic human rights and to stop the discrimination of unemployed people; which causes grave political instability and civil unrest in the US. In a world where there are no guarantees and as citizens who must be under government rule, we should at least be assured that we will be able to feed, clothe and handle the simplest needs of human beings. Hence implementing a basic income guarantee is an essential prerequisite to counteract inequality and to ensure basic human rights - in the US and the International Community.

Strategies against Burnout for Intelligence Officers - Interviews with MSS, FSB, MI6, CIA, SSD and ISI Agents challenged with Occupational Burnout by Dr. Mark O'Doherty Pdf

During the Cold War Vienna became an intelligence stronghold. Then the Curtain fell. Yet even 30 years later, Vienna is the world leader in espionage. With at least 7,000 spies groping around in the Austrian capital, every second diplomat in Vienna can be linked to his or her country's intelligence agencies; which makes Vienna an ideal location to study stressed out spies, killers and fanatics in the spy scene. This study explores the complex and intricate ramifications of espionage, assassinations and international politics; and concludes that disruptive communication and lack of emotional intelligence among spies are the main causes for Burnout within the Intelligence Community - on a psychological, inter-agency and political level. The study also outlines that neo-Nazi activities are a big problem in Austria - the FPÖ, the ÖVP and the SPÖ Party being responsible for neo-Nazi activities. Hence it is imperative that a denazification is implemented in Austria. This study also examines the KGB in Belarus; which is severely challenged with PTSD and Burnout these days - as recent events in Belarus indicate. The Belarusian authorities, including the KGB security police, have been accused of kidnapping and threatening to kill the Belarusian opposition politician Maria Kolesnikova. Kolesnikova, a trained flautist and music teacher who has emerged as one of the figureheads of protests against the authoritarian leader, Alexander Lukashenko, said she was told by security officers that she would be removed from Belarus "alive or in bits" after she thwarted their plan to dump her in Ukraine. Maria Kolesnikova's complaint included the names and ranks of individual officers of the KGB and the organised crime agency whom she accuses of threatening her, and said she would be able to identify them. So those individuals need to be charged and convicted, so that rule of law can be restored in Belarus. It should also be noted, that on 23 May 2021 - a date which will live in infamy - Belarusian journalist Roman Protasevich, 26, was detained after Belarus's president, Alexander Lukashenko, personally authorized the forced downing of his Ryanair flight travelling between Greece and Lithuania. His Russian girlfriend, Sofia Sapega, was also seized. Hence it is imperative that Alexander Lukashenko immediately releases Journalist Roman Protasevich and Sofia Sapega; as stipulated by international law and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).

The Resignation of President Xi Jinping and the Implementation of Universal Suffrage in China - Interviews with Pyrite, Archangel Ariel and Harvey by Dr. Mark O'Doherty Pdf

Human rights activist Wang Meiyu, 38, was detained after he stood outside the Hunan provincial police department holding a sign that called on President Xi Jinping to resign and implement universal suffrage in China. He was later charged with "picking quarrels and provoking trouble," a vague offence often given to dissidents. Wang, who began his work as an activist when his home was forcibly demolished, has been detained and suffered torture before. In 2018 after he held up the placard calling for President Xi's resignation, police stormed into his home - victimizing, threatening and torturing him. Wang died on 23rd September 2019, after suffering torture in Chinese custody; bleeding from his eyes, mouth, ears and nose. The author's opinion: President Xi should take Wang's brave call for universal suffrage to heart, and implement universal suffrage in China; so that democracy and civil rights - including freedom of religion for Muslim minorities - can finally be manifested for all 1.4 billion people in China.

The Legacy of Benjamin Netanyahu and the State of Israel – A Study of Human Rights Violations, Civilian Suffering and Violent Extremism in Israel and Palestine by Dr. Mark O'Doherty Pdf

In the wake of the 2019 Israeli legislative election, the current balance of power in Israel is held by smaller right-wing and religious parties - led by Aryeh Makhlouf Deri, Yaakov Litzman, Avigdor Lieberman, Rafi Peretz and Moshe Kahlon - having the power to encourage and convince Prime Minister Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu to work towards a Middle East peace plan, that would be just and fair to both Israelis and Palestinians... Consequently high-ranking European politicians have urged the EU to reject any US Middle East peace plan unless it is fair to Palestinians - which could also be a one-state solution; meaning that the Israeli government would have to grant equal democratic rights as well as freedom of movement to both Palestinians and Israelis; so that the Gaza blockade can finally be lifted... Critical, but also deeply sensitive and humane, this book explores social scientific and ethical approaches, so that a just social peace can finally be manifested in Palestine and Israel.

Strategies against Burnout for the Gods of India - Interviews with Kali, Krishna, Durga Devi and Maja challenged with the impossible Mission of restoring Dharma in India by Dr. Mark O'Doherty Pdf

An Indian author and journalist has been stripped of his Indian citizenship after he wrote an article criticising the regime of the country's prime minister, Narendra Modi. Aatish Taseer, who was born in the UK but raised in India and spent a further decade living there from the age of 25, was stripped of his citizenship of India (OCI) status on 7. November 2019. Taseer, who has written multiple books on India, described the government's move as highly suspicious and systematic. He added: "They are making an example of me and sending a warning message to other journalists..." It should be noted that India has become one of the world's deadliest countries for reporters. Assassinations include journalists who have spoken out against Hindu extremists; as well criticising Hindu nationalism and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party. Hence the Indian government urgently needs to address violations of press freedom; so that journalists can criticise the dictatorial regime in India without having to fear any retaliation.

Strategies against Burnout for the Angels of Israel - Interviews with Moses, Archangel Azriel, Archangel Haniel and Archangel Israfil challenged with the Mission of restoring Human Rights in Gaza by Dr. Mark O'Doherty Pdf

After 10 years of siege, the 2 million people of Gaza, living packed on a tiny strip, find themselves without work, their economy killed off, without the bare essentials for decent life and without any hope of freedom, or any sign that their situation will change. Being in violation of international humanitarian law, the siege is fracturing minds, pushing the most sensitive and vulnerable to suicide in numbers never seen before... Hence it is imperative that the blockade in Gaza is lifted; especially since the recent Gaza shootings in May 2018, where 116 Palestinians were killed, and over 12.600 were injured, almost all of whom were unarmed. Yet Israel treated the violence as a jailer might a prison riot: a tragic fault of the inmates... However, it is a difficult task to heal Israel and Palestine. Hence this study; which outlines how important emotional intelligence and social therapy are - among angels and mortals alike - to restore Human Rights in Gaza, and the dignity of humanity in the Holy Land.

The Legacy of Joseph Kabila and his Government Ð A Study of Democratic Deficit, Human Rights Abuses and Dictatorship in the Democratic Republic of the Congo by Dr. Mark O'Doherty Pdf

Despite an international agreement in 2003 to end the war in the Congo and two further agreements at the beginning of 2008 to end fighting, the DRC remains a combat zone. Millions of Congolese have perished, and over a million more have been displaced. Under Joseph Kabila - who was supposed to step down in 2016 after 16 years as president, but has refused to go - there have been serious allegations of activists and journalists being arrested, beaten or killed. Critical, but also deeply sensitive and humane, the author offers suggestions how the Congo may regain its integrity and respect in the international community; by advocating a social-scientific analysis of these matters, as well as methods to improve democracy, social cohesion and human rights in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The Legacy of Kim Jong-un and the Workers' Party in North Korea A One-Party State facilitating Militarism, Nuclear Armament and Disregard for Human Rights by Dr. Mark O'Doherty Pdf

A young kid with a cool hairstyle, Kim Jong-un seems to have pledged his undying loyalty to Comrade Stalin's ghost; gambling with the lives of an entire nation just to win a game of chicken against the U.S.; policies of militarism and nuclear armament which are not only counterproductive to the global peace movement, but also a very considerable waste of money and effort, distorting national spending priorities in North Korea, with millions of North Koreans living in extreme poverty. This book also studies human rights abuses in North Korea, such as politically motivated incarceration of people in internment- and reeducation camps; often just normal peace loving North Korean people who merely wish to exercise their basic human rights, such as freedom of speech and expression. These and other issues Dr. O'Doherty explores, offering an intelligent social-scientific analysis on these matters, so that a positive collective consciencousness can be manifested between North Korea and the International Community.

Healing Pakistan – Improving Human Rights, Gender Mainstreaming and Religious Education in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan by Dr. Mark O'Doherty Pdf

India and Pakistan came close to a conflict in February 2019 when India bombed Pakistani territory for the first time in a half century and warplanes from both countries fought a dogfight over the divided region. Tensions were defused when Pakistan returned a downed Indian pilot. But they have grown again since India revoked a constitutional clause that endowed semi-autonomous status on the part of Kashmir under its control in August 2019. India moved hundreds of thousands of troops to the region and carried out thousands of arrests. Khan has expressed his fear of an uncontrolled escalation. He said he had expressed his fears in conversations recently with Donald Trump, Angela Merkel, Emmanuel Macron and Boris Johnson. President Trump has offered to mediate, but only if both Pakistan and India agree. India has been allegedly resistant to outside mediation, and Modi has presented his actions in Indian-controlled Kashmir as essential to counter separatism and terrorism, which he accuses Pakistan of fomenting...

The Legacy of Robert Mugabe and the Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front - A One-Party State facilitating Dictatorship and Disregard for Human Rights by Dr. Mark O'Doherty Pdf

The UN has warned that Zimbabwe is facing its worst hunger crisis in a decade with half of the population - 7.7 million people - being food insecure; due to an economic meltdown and unprecendented malnutrition; according to the WFP. Also, widespread corruption has contributed to a rise in sexual bribery in Zimbabwe; with an unprecedented number of women reporting being forced to exchange sex for employment or business favours. More than 57% of women surveyed by 'Transparency International Zimbabwe' (TIZ), said they had been forced to offer sexual favours in exchange for jobs, medical care and even when seeking placements at schools for their children. The report, entitled Gender and Corruption, found women were increasingly vulnerable to sexual abuse amid the deteriorating Zimbabwean economy. Hence it is very important that economic stability, rule-of-law and human rights are restored in Zimbabwe - with the assistance of the international community - so that peace and prosperity can be manifested in Zimbabwe.

Healing Nigeria – Improving Human Rights, Social Equality and Public Education in the Federal Republic of Nigeria by Dr. Mark O'Doherty Pdf

Critical, but also deeply sensitive and humane, this book offers a new way to improve Nigerian public policy, so that a positive collective consciousness can be manifested in Nigeria, as well as with the International Community. Social challenges - such as crime, corruption and illiteracy in Nigeria - are also explored in this work, offering an analysis on these matters, as well as suggestions how public education, family policy and children's rights can be improved. Violent Extremism in Nigeria is another topic this book addresses; as both internally and externally, Nigeria is faced with a major security problem in terms of containing and countering extremism. Highly innovative and profound, this book explores cutting-edge social scientific, ethical and Islamic approaches how human rights and social equality can be improved in Nigeria.
