It is difficult to overestimate the impact that density functional theory has had on computational quantum chemistry over the last two decades. A number of additional questions have been added to those given at the end of the book. In particular, greater attention is given to the exercises on chemical calculations a number of typical examples are selected and worked out in detail, in order to illustrate the prin ciples involved.
