Prince of Thorns by E.J. Knox,Elizabeth Stevens Pdf

From Elizabeth Stevens, writing as E.J. Knox, comes… The bad boy willing to risk everything – even his life – to get the girl. People call them the V.I.C.E.S. because they’ll wring you for everything you are and leave you ruined. They are the Princes of Rosewood Hall, and no one says no to them. Until now. Vaughn Saint. The racer. He dubbed the Prince of Thorns. Pretty as a rose, but one touch and he’ll leave you bleeding. He chases death on two wheels at least twice a week. Used to controlling powerful things between his thighs, nothing is more powerful than the lure of the pleasures he promises. And he wants to give them all to me. Only problem? I’m the daughter of the leader of the Blood Roses. His leader. I’m off-limits. Dad wants me to walk away from all that, not get dragged down deeper into their hell, but Vaughn Saint threatens to take me to the very depths and still have me begging for more. Loving me will kill him. Not loving me will destroy the both of us. AUTHOR NOTES: This is a dark, angsty, contemporary high school bully/enemies-to-lovers, forbidden romance with enough steam to melt your screen. He falls first, and he falls HARD and FAST. This a crash course in insta-love for both of them. Do not engage in public consumption unless your poker face is impenetrable. Do not read if you don’t like bossy alpha males claiming what’s theirs, a nerdy but feisty heroine determined not to fall for a silver tongue, sassy besties, snarky love-to-hate-them side characters, or bad boys with secret hearts of gold. This story is set in a very bastardised combination of settings. I wanted to use a European school year because I like the timing and the weather better, but I imagine Hammersby Bay being a small (depending on your definition) US town on the coast/a river (like in Oregon, maybe?), and the more specific references of course skew Australian as usual. So, have fun! This book is written using Australian English. This will affect the spelling, grammar and syntax you may be used to. It might come across as typos, awkward sentences, poor grammar, or missed/wrong words. In the majority of cases (I won’t claim it’s infallible, despite all best efforts), this is intentional and just an Aussie way of speaking (it took my US beta readers a bit to get used to). I can’t say ‘the’ Aussie way, since we seem to differ even within the same state. Just think of us as a weird mix of British and US vernacular and colloquialisms, but with our own randomness thrown in. I still hope you enjoy it, though! Contains possible triggers.

A Witches' Canon Part 2 by Roy H. Blunden Pdf

An Exploration of the Traditional Witchcraft Coven, its Organization and Rituals, including Initiations, Rites of Passage, Magical and Social practices. The truth is, “Old” Gerald B. Gardner had little interest in how the Traditional Witchcraft Coven had been organized and structured. So apart from an example of how it should not be done, he passed on little information about how it was meant to be organized. That knowledge of how best to organize and structure a modern Coven has had to be reclaimed from the old records and by trial and error. So too the social Rites of Passage; those of birth, marriage and death that were all long since appropriated by the religious authorities have likewise needed to be restored. As too the traditional forms of Coven Magic and Healings, whilst still keeping Witchcraft ever the religion of Dance, Fun and Mirth. After all, who said that religion is not to be enjoyed? A Witches’ Canon, Part 1, provides a fact-based referenced guide for those wishing to further explore the Religion and Celebratory Rituals of Traditional Wicca. A Witches’ Canon, Part 2, has been written to provide a practical, referenced guide to the social aspects of Traditional Wicca; of Coven Organization, Initiations, Rites and Rituals. A Witches’ Canon, Part 3, is a fact-based referenced guide to the practice of Magical Witchcraft, both nice and naughty. If it isn’t fun, then it ain’t worth doing.

Real Magic by Isaac Bonewits Pdf

From an occult scholar who “is witty and possessed of a mind that peers around corners . . . a fresh exploration of magic” (Publishers Weekly). From one of the founders of the modern pagan movement comes an examination of psychic phenomena, from ESP to Eastern ritual. In this classic text for students and practitioners of occultism, Isaac Bonewits explores the basic laws of magic, relating them to the natural laws of the universe. “A book both scholarly and readable.” —San Francisco Chronicle “Groundbreaking and thought provoking, this seminal work of magical theory was perhaps the first logical, rigorously sensible look at magic.” —PanGaia

Being a Pagan by Ellen Evert Hopman,Lawrence Bond Pdf

More than 60 pagan leaders and teachers describe in their own words what they believe and what they practice. • Addresses how Pagans view parenting, organized religion, and politics. • Introduces the wide range of possibilities within the neo-Pagan movement. • By Ellen Evert Hopman, author of A Druid's Herbal for the Sacred Earth Year; Walking the World in Wonder: A Children's Herbal; and Tree Medicine, Tree Magic. Who are the pagans and what do they stand for? Why would some of the members of the best educated, most materially comfortable generation of Americans look back to mystical traditions many millennia old? During the last few decades, millions of people have embraced ancient philosophies that honor Earth and the spiritual power of each individual. Ways of worship from sources as diverse as the pre-Christian Celts, ancient Egypt, and Native American traditions are currently helping their followers find meaning in life while living in the Information Age. In this book Pagan leaders and teachers describe in their own words what they believe and what they practice. From Margot Adler, an NPR reporter and author of Drawing Down the Moon, to Isaac Bonewits, ArchDruid and founder of a modern neo-Druidic organization, those interviewed in this book express the rich diversity of modern Paganism. Hopman's insightful questions draw on her own experiences as a Pagan and Druid as well as on her extensive research. With coauthor Lawrence Bond, she examines how Pagans address such issues as parenting, organized religion, and politics. The resulting dialogues illuminate the modern Pagan revival.

Queen of Thorns and Roses by Connie Suttle Pdf

Kyri "You thought you could walk right into Az-ca, take over where you left off centuries ago, and everybody would just fall in with your plans. Is that it?" "I didn't count on her—never saw her in all my divinations." He meant Sherra. An unseeable. He'd divined Thorn II, just not his Queen and partner. "So. You wanted to take over after practically destroying their current King—who was a very good King, and before that, an excellent Commander of the army. That's a hell of a way to get Az-ca's population to adore you, isn't it?" "I can offer them peace," he began. "Except you can't. Kaakos is still alive, remember, and he'll be coming for you—of that I have no doubt. You know it, too, and you can't take him on without Az-ca's army at your back." "I thought we could work together—Thorn II and I. That he'd see the reason in it after a while." "And, as he's currently powerless, what choice would he have?" I sniped. * * * The present King of Az-ca has been rendered powerless through an unsuspected coup, and is overcome with despair. Kaakos has escaped death, but is forced to leave Ny-nes. Now, his sole focus is revenge. Az-ca's citizens have fallen victim to the enemy's lies, and civil war threatens to split the country. Sherra is forced to divide her attention between searching for the enemy, dealing with traitors and struggling with the King's misery and desolation. When the blood spell that rendered Kerok powerless takes a turn even its maker didn't expect, only her dreamwalker, with help from another, can hope to turn the tide...
