If you want to start building as much muscle as possible and as quickly as possible, then keep reading... Have you been going to the gym for several months now, yet you feel as if you don't look any different? Or maybe you feel as if, for the amount of time you put into the gym, you should be a lot bigger or a lot more muscular than you currently are... And if you've ever wondered if you're missing a piece of the puzzle, know that I once felt the same way. But if you are missing a piece of the puzzle, I can assure you that it is not some secret training program, technique, or supplement... Because building muscle isn't as complicated as the fitness industry wants you to believe. There are no more remaining "secrets" that you need to unravel, regardless of whatever the next fitness guru tells you. Truth is the health and fitness industry is a lucrative market that is being capitalized on by marketers... And people like us - people who want to become the best versions of ourselves - are being taken advantage of and sold the same concepts repackaged under different names. Other times, we are lied to about our natural potential, and oversold the benefits that their products or supplements can bring us. But building muscle is actually a really simple process. You already know what to do. You just lack the confidence to do it. This book will dispel all the nonsense and reveal the truth about building muscle so that you can stop wasting your time trying to identify what works and what doesn't, and start sculpting a more muscular, more confident and better you. With references to over 20 of the best scientific studies available, discover: How to avoid the most common mistake people make with their training and programming (pg. 8) Why "new and revolutionary" is a marketing tool, and just how old the newest training revolution really is (pg. 4) How to tell good research from bad, the different levels of scientific evidence, and how to properly gauge "backed by science" and "research-based" claims (pg. 29) What the ideal rep range for muscle growth really is (hint: it's not 8-12 reps!) (pg. 68) How to quantify your training the correct way using the new, scientifically-accepted formula for volume (pg. 81) How you can make up to 63% more gains changing only 1 training variable (pg. 65) Why strength training and periodization is unnecessary for muscle growth (pg. 73, 94) The advantage hardgainers have when it comes to building muscle (pg. 118) What supplements you should consider, especially if you don't eat animal products (one of which can alleviate symptoms of mental retardation) (pg. 130) Why bench presses are not enough for chest development; the underused triceps extension for better triceps development; and why overhead presses may be a waste of time (pg. 144) The laws of muscle growth - understand and apply these 2-3 concepts and you WILL build muscle (pg. 18) Not only is everything in this book backed by science, but there are also observations from World renowned coaches. So even if you have yet to find success with any training program, this book will give you the tools and motivation you need to succeed. Discover the truth to building muscle and become a more muscular, more confident and better you for less than a single session of personal training - click "add to cart" now!

American Muscle Cars by Darwin Holmstrom Pdf

This is the muscle car history to own--a richly illustrated chronicle of America's greatest high-performance cars, told from their 1960s beginning through the present day! In the 1960s, three incendiary ingredients--developing V-8 engine technology, a culture consumed by the need for speed, and 75 million baby boomers entering the auto market--exploded in the form of the factory muscle car. The resulting vehicles, brutal machines unlike any the world had seen before or will ever see again, defined the sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll generation. American Muscle Cars chronicles this tumultuous period of American history through the primary tool Americans use to define themselves: their automobiles. From the street-racing hot rod culture that emerged following World War II through the new breed of muscle cars still emerging from Detroit today, this book brings to life the history of the American muscle car. When Pontiac's chief engineer, John Z. DeLorean, and his team bolted a big-inch engine into the division's intermediate chassis, they immediately invented the classic muscle car. In those 20 minutes it took Bill Collins and Russ Gee to bolt a 389 ci V-8 engine into a Tempest chassis they created the prototype for Pontiac's GTO--and changed the course of automotive history. From that moment on, American performance cars would never be the same. American Muscle Cars tells the story of the most desirable cars ever to come out of Detroit. It's a story of flat-out insanity told at full throttle and illustrated with beautiful photography.

Motor City Muscle by Mike Mueller Pdf

This is the high-performance tale of what was undoubtedly the fastest, loosest era in automotive history. Through the 1960s and into the 1970s, America’s carmakers fought an unbridled war for street supremacy. The warriors ranged from light and agile Z/28 Camaros and Boss 302 Mustangs to big-block brutes like the 440 Road Runner and Stage I 455 Buick GS. A few of these boulevard brawlers were closing on 500 horsepower before the insurance lobby, Ralph Nader, OPEC, and various governmental agencies conspired to stop the madness. Muscle cars all but disappeared by 1974, with only a few anemic models soldiering through the 1980s. But by the 1990s, thanks to vastly improved engine technology, muscle cars were back with a vengeance. Motor City Muscle traces the full history right up to today’s new Mustang, Camaro, and Challenger.

Skeletal Muscle by Henning Schmalbruch Pdf

This volume is intended to cover research in the field of muscle morphology since publication of the previous edition by Haggquist in 1956. The development of new techniques, coupled with an intensified interest in muscle, has resulted in a vast literature which no single person could review, especially within the limitations of one volume. When I accepted the flattering offer to write a new edition, I quickly abandoned any hope of a comprehensive review. Instead, I tried to consider, within my limits, those lines of research which I believe to be important for the understanding of mammalian and ultimately human muscles under normal, experimental, and pathological conditions. It would be naive to suggest that muscle can be adequately described in purely morphologi cal aspects; I would characterize the results of my effort as "muscle as seen with the eyes of a morphologist". It gives me pleasure to acknowledge the help of several colleagues who read and commented on drafts of individual chapters: Dr. Brenda Eisenberg, Chicago; Dr. Else Nygaard, Copenhagen; Dr. Stefano Schiaffino, Padova; Dr. Michael Sjostrom, Umea; Dr. Lars~Erik Thornell, Umea. None of these individ uals can be held responsible for any error or obscurity that persists. Indeed, without their assistance there would have been more. I also thank those col leagues who allowed me to include their published and unpublished material; their names, and also those of the publishers who kindly granted copyright permission, are given in the individual figure captions.
