Visa Secrets Revealed by International Travel Consultant Pdf

This book has the answers to all questions on what to do to get a visa to any country of your choice and what to do when you get there to avoid becoming illegal or stranded. Most foreign countries will give you a visa if you can provide them with correct and relevant information. And that’s what most people fail to do—simply from not knowing or not paying attention. By the same token, most foreign embassies will deny applications for failing to meet the requirements, which is totally ambiguous and can mean anything. This book has been put together with the goal of helping you to understand the process, guide and provide you with the data, information, and insight so you know precisely what is involved and what to do to get the visa you want. It contains all the answers to the questions on what you can do to increase your chances of getting a visa to travel to any country of your choice, including everyone’s favorite country, the United States of America. This book will provide you with the information and guidelines on the following: —ten easiest ways to travel, immigrate, move to America, Canada, Europe, Australia, other foreign countries, —how to successfully find all the proper, correct, and relevant documents you need to support your visa application to avoid being disqualified, and —how to avoid becoming stranded or an illegal alien in a foreign country. Government websites have all kinds of information on what kind of visa programs are available to be applied for by those seeking to travel overseas. What they don’t talk about is the most important: how to prepare for visa interviews, what you need to know before submitting a visa application, how to improve your chances of getting a visa to America, Europe, Australia, and other foreign countries. This book has all the answers.

Secrets Of Machine Learning: How It Works And What It Means For You by Tom Kohn Pdf

Cutting through the mass of technical literature on machine learning and AI and the plethora of fear-mongering books on the rise of killer robots, Secrets of Machine Learning offers a clear-sighted explanation for the informed reader of what this new technology is, what it does, how it works, and why it's so important. The surge in computer processing power along with the sheer quantities of training data available, means machine learning is now possible in ways wholly unthinkable just five years ago. And next, they are likely to drive our cars.Journalist and news product manager Tom Kohn gets to the heart of the revolutionary new technology that is developing all around us, explaining with precision how the different facets of machine learning work, how companies are using it, and why it is permeating all parts of society right now. The book guides readers through the arcane science and jargon in a clear and understandable way, but is detailed enough that it doesn't gloss over the hard technical concepts. If you want to know why Siri sometimes misunderstands you, how Netflix recommends your movies, and how machine learning will affect your job — read this book.

Secrets of State by Matthew Palmer,Pro Vice Chancellor and Dean of Law Matthew Palmer Pdf

An NPR Best Book of the Year From a veteran insider with over twenty years' experience in the U.S. Foreign Service comes a taut, insightful thriller of global intrigue and behind-the-scenes international politics. Sam Trainor's career of overseas work coupled with a penchant for being outspoken has left him on the outside of the competitive Washington establishment. Formerly the top South Asia expert in the State Department's Bureau of Intelligence and Research, Trainor has moved to the private sector, working as an analyst for the consulting firm Argus Systems. But Sam soon discovers that for all their similarities, the government and their hired contractors have vastly different motives. As he struggles to adjust to a more corporate, profit-driven version of the work that had been his life, he stumbles across an intelligence anomaly--the transcript of a phone conversation about the fastest ways to upend the delicate political balance keeping India and Pakistan from all-out war. Yet Sam knows that conversation can't have occurred--because he is having an affair with one of the alleged participants. As he digs into the source of this misinformation, he realizes that more is at stake than just bad intel. Someone is deliberately twisting the intelligence to stoke the simmering conflict between India and Pakistan, nuclear-armed rivals that have already fought multiple wars. And Sam's new employer could be up to its neck in it. From the Hardcover edition.

Hope and Uncertainty in Contemporary African Migration by Nauja Kleist,Dorte Thorsen Pdf

This volume examines the relationship between hope, mobility, and immobility in African migration. Through case studies set within and beyond the continent, it demonstrates that hope offers a unique prism for analyzing the social imaginaries and aspirations which underpin migration in situations of uncertainty, deepening inequality, and delimited access to global circuits of legal mobility. The volume takes departure in a mobility paradox that characterizes contemporary migration. Whereas people all over the world are exposed to widening sets of meaning of the good life elsewhere, an increasing number of people in the Global South have little or no access to authorized modes of international migration. This book examines how African migrants respond to this situation. Focusing on hope, it explores migrants’ temporal and spatial horizons of expectation and possibility and how these horizons link to mobility practices. Such analysis is pertinent as precarious life conditions and increasingly restrictive regimes of mobility characterize the lives of many Africans, while migration continues to constitute important livelihood strategies and to be seen as pathways of improvement. Whereas involuntary immobility is one consequence, another is the emergence and consolidation of new destinations emerging in the Global South. The volume examines this development through empirically grounded and theoretically rich case studies in migrants’ countries of origin, zones of transit, and in new and established destinations in Europe, North America, the Middle East, Latin America and China. It thereby offers an original perspective on linkages between migration, hope, and immobility, ranging from migration aspirations to return.

Deadly Secrets of Iranian Princes by Pascal Mahvi Pdf

Every once in a while, someone with unprecedented access to the truth, lifts the veil in a memoir so stark and revealing that it has the power to reframe history and our perceptions of those who defined it. Pascal Mahvi's book is one such to me. The Deadly Secrets of Iranian Princes, which spans three decades, is Mahvi's candid account of his struggle growing up straddling two cultures and in the process reconciling his own identity both as an American and a descendant of Iranian royalty. When the newly appointed Shah of Iran reaches out to Mahvi's father to become his chief advisor and confidante, young Pascal is thrust into the controversial leader's elite inner-sanctum during one of the most pivotal periods in history. The author's story of survival is at once both riveting and poignant, offering rare, intimate glimpses of the Shah at his most human away from the glare of the spotlight. It is also a window into the surprising strengths and frailties of some of the world's most famous celebrities from the deeply personal perspective of someone who unexpectedly finds himself an intimate part of their world. Told through the eyes of a son forced to become a man against a backdrop of unimaginable danger and sacrifice, Deadly Secrets of Iranian Princes is the front page story that hasn't been broken...until now. The revelations in this book, from corporate treason and corrupt government to the surreal demands of being an insider in the shadow of a nuclear arms race are sure to ignite a firestorm of controversy, especially for those whose betrayals will finally become public. More than a news story, at its heart, Deadly Secrets of Iranian Princes is also a haunting testimonial to the complexities of extreme privilege and the unforgettable chronicle of one man's quest to honor his father....

Ancient Secrets of Creation by Fred Reiss Pdf

Sepher Yetzira is a second or third century Hebrew book that is considered to be the seminal work of Kabbalah because it is a mystical interpretation of the Old Testament's creation story, and Kabbalists delve beneath the surface of the Bible to understand the unspoken mysteries of how the world came to be. Ancient Secrets of Creation is a new translation and reinterpretation of Sepher Yetzira that provides the answers to questions about how God created the world, especially how the expression, "And God said" is used. Because of Sepher Yetzira's succinctness and the passage of time, its implicit meanings have been lost. However, this work provides a fresh understanding of Sepher Yetzira by rediscovering and clearly explaining those mathematical, scientific, philosophical, and theological foundations on which it rests. These include pertinent pre-Socratic Greek philosophies; the ideas of Plato, Plotinus, Iamblichus, Neopythagoreanism, and Neoplatonism; as well as the works of Philo of Alexandria, the Old Testament, and rabbinic understandings at the time that Sepher Yetzira was written. This translation and explication unlock the secrets hidden within the Hebrew-language text of Sepher Yetzira, the book that started Kabbalah.
