Originally written in 1959, this is the hilariously explosive account of Youngdahl, a novelist, playwright, ex-Mormon, and father of seven. He is a frenzied man who is beginning a letter-writing campaign to escape his curiously ironic situation, and, of course, his profession. Along with Abner Klang, his not-so-literary agent who seems to have misplaced the F key on his typewriter, Youngdahl joins forces with a Mormon bishop, a TV adapter, and a prizefighter, among others, to spearhead a comic revolution.

The purpose of the book is to identify certain areas of fraud waste and abuse by officials from both the state and federal government. These officials have been abusing the trust that the American taxpayers have given to our elected officials. For over fifty years the Democratic and the Republican parties have created a system of government that has provided a pot of gold for themselves. This book contains examples of the power structure that the Democrats and the Republicans have created. The book also contains solutions to solve the economic crisis that looms over America. The question is, "Will the American taxpayer take charge of their own future and the future of their children?"
Paul Finley Mysteries Book Six Private investigator Paul Finley receives a packet of old police reports from a former colleague. Most of the reports describe cases that have been squashed or sidetracked for power interests. One of them questions the accidental death of Finley’s wife and daughter some years earlier. Before Finley can go back to the source of the reports, the man dies. What follows is a quagmire of a homicide dressed up as suicide, a fanatical religious group, an old-time gang boss, and Finley’s gradual re-immersion in nightmares that he had thought overcome.

Hippie Kushi Waking up to Life by Stephen 'Hippie Kushi' Cox Pdf
Most people as they get older tend to forget about themselves. It seems to be a normal part of the process of life and it happens to the best of us. We forget to reach our own potential because we are far too focused on bringing up a family, working long hours to pay off the mortgage and bills, locked into the cycle of the never-ending treadmill of work and career. It is easy to lose our way and disregard our own existential well-being. Suddenly one day thirty years later, we say to ourselves, ‘What happened to the person I used to be, what happened to my life? We used to be fun, go to parties, dance the night away at night clubs and have loads of crazy friends.’ Your social life now consists of a bottle of wine at home watching TV. Your friends are getting fewer and fewer because over the years you have focused on everybody else except yourselves. My name is Stephen Cox, I am 55 years old and I describe myself as a modern hippie. I am spiritual, forward-thinking, a traveller of the world and a lover of life. I paint my brow with the colours of the rainbow, I wear bright multi-coloured clothes and beads and I dance with my whirly friends all through the night. I am happy! I have found hippie happiness, I have found Hippie Kushi and I would love it if you find it too.
Wake Up! Wake Up! the Testimony of a Layman by Thomas W. Balderston Pdf
"Wake Up! Wake Up! The Testimony of a Layman" is the account of author Thomas Balderston's struggle with faith and his attempt to alert readers to the world and the opportunities the Triune God has made possible. The author's GPS, containing many strategic dots-that, when connected, opened his eyes to the truth-was the Word. The resurrection was the highest peak on the many mountains he crossed. "The Testimony of a Layman" is the honest chronicle of how one man's heart and mind were opened. Take a ride with the author; the scenery may be enough to remind readers that even with pain, there is beauty and love inside and outside their windows.
Something was wrong, terribly wrong. Terror froze her for a moment, and in that moment of horror a fist smashed into her face. There was nothing in that dark room but her trembling body and the nightmare. She lay there rigid, trying to understand what was happening. It was no nightmare; the pains she felt told her that. Why was he doing this to her? Why? Without knowing it she began to scream.
Wake up Black Man and Black Woman by Alpha Omega Riddick Pdf
Black people of America, we need to stop reading books about thug life and street life. We need to read books that will open our minds to ideas and issues that will help us and our families and the future of black generations of this country. Black people of America, we were here before most of the other nationalities that are here now. We should be in a much better financial situation than we are in now. Most of us are at the bottom or near the bottom of the economic scale as a whole. We have to learn from the foreigners that stick together and open up businesses in our community. Plus we have to stop giving our hard-earned money to other nationalities and none to ourselves; in a way, we are still slaves. I wrote this book to inspire Black Americans to open there eyes to the positive changes we need to make to help our families and future black generations in America. This book shows how we are living compared to other nationalities in America, as well as the factors that are holding us back as a whole. We must remember our ancestors and the sacrifices they made when they were slaves. They were the strongest people in the world, and we are their descendants. I feel they were superhuman beings to make that trip from Africa to America. We as black Americans have that same ability in us to survive. Remember, we are the alpha race. We need to wake up and stop hitting the snooze button. May God bless this book and everyone that reads it.
In this uproarious novel, ridiculous characters emerge from San Francisco's countercultural underground to unleash their melancholy psychodrama on an unsuspecting world. Poets and vampires, drag queens and performance artists, musicians and strippers commingle throughout a yearlong hangover. Longhi's ability to render distinctly memorable characters and zero in on subterranean absurdity makes this a rollicking urban ride.
This book is a collection of “Societal Insanities” that could be described as idiotic systems, customs and practices; accepted mythologies and conventional wisdom; governmental and business vices stemming from massive egos and out-of-control greed – plus stupidity, hypocrisy, unethical behavior and declining integrity everywhere. The chapters are seasoned with occasional humor, profanities and, some would say, obscenities. But that’s not true, according to the author (see Chapter Thirty-One). This book could be considered tame compared to books by George Carlin, the brilliant philosopher/comedian, however his fans would probably like it. At the end of each chapter where it is appropriate, the “old sage” (that’s the author’s role in this book) provides a SAGE SOLUTION to the problem – a concept for change that could possibly lead to a workable plan. It would require experts in all aspects of the problem to work together in a spirit of cooperation, using their experience, intelligence and WISDOM. Yes, that’s a tall order, but something must be done to put this country back on the right track. And the people in Washington who are supposed to be solving our domestic and international problems should sit down together, put their political doctrines aside, quit trying to win their stupid partisan war and concentrate on saving this country! Thirty-four of the thirty-eight chapters in this book are about different societal insanities, so you could start with the Foreword and read straight through, or you could look at the Table Of Contents, select a chapter with subject matter that interests you and read the complete book in the order you prefer. However, for better understanding of any chapter, be sure to read the Foreword and Chapter One before reading other chapters.
