The Wiersbe Bible Study Series: Hebrews by Warren W. Wiersbe Pdf

Hebrews—written by Christians, to Christians, and for Christians—is loaded with theology accessible to any believer who wants to grasp the origin and meaning of faith. Penned at a time that was politically unstable, Hebrews targets believers who were tempted to abandon their faith and slip back into the rules and regulations of Judaism. In our politically unstable time of "wars and rumors of wars" (Mark13:7), we can all understand the quest for stability. But there is only one source of rock solid security. Warren Wiersbe will show you that by focusing on the reality of the unseen first, an overwhelming desire for intimate friendship with God will follow. You will begin to see less with your physical eyes and more with your spiritual eyes as Wiersbe takes you on a journey, personally or with the fellowship of a group, that will strengthen your walk by deepening your insight.

Revelation of John the Apostle by Richard D. Draper,Michael Rhodes Pdf

To read the book of Revelation is to see a myriad of representations pass by our gaze, offering and kaleidoscope of bizarre and incongruent images. This world strikes us at first as fearfully and mysteriously strange and fantastic. But once these symbols are properly deciphered, they combine to present crucial messages for those living in the last days. These messages were designed by God to lead all successfully through these troubled times if they will read, hear, and do his will. This commentary presents a comprehensive analysis of John's book aided by the lens of LDS doctrine and Mormon experience. God delivered his messages in the form of images housed within discrete visions, with each symbol explaining, exposing, or emphasizing various aspects of the message conveyed. The challenge is getting beyond the symbols to the represented realities. Information is drawn from all the Standard Works, the Joseph Smith Translation of the Bible, and from modern Prophets and Apostles.

I Walk by Faith, Not by Sight by Beatrice Guzzi Pdf

People ask me, aEURoeHow did you do it having six children and raising them totally blind?aEUR I always give them the same answer. aEURoeWith the help of God.aEUR This is the gospel truth. I donaEUR(tm)t know how I would have done it without His help. It was not easy, but I was determined to have children with or without sight. I always wanted children, even when I was a little girl. I was always around them. I was the youngest of three, but when you come from a big Italian family, there are always kids around; and more than likely, a lot of babies to take care of and play with. So taking care of babies was not hard for me. I was always very comfortable taking care of my own. How would you feel if a doctor told you at the age of twenty-three that you are going to be blind and there is no cure? I was a newlywed at the time. Would my new husband want to stay with a blind wife? Would I be able to accept living in the dark in a sighted world? Would all my dreams of a home and children go up in smoke? I never wanted to be a burden to my husband. ThataEUR(tm)s when I drew on my faith and trusted in God. If God got me to it, He would get me through it. You will read about the miraculous ways God worked things out in my life. The way in which I had my children was miraculous. He said, aEURoeFor I know the plans I have for youaEUR (Jeremiah 29:11). God is always in control. When I was a young girl, I was very insecure and shy. But with this change in my life, I had to toughen up, and thataEUR(tm)s exactly what I did. I went through a lot of hard times in my life, but a lot of happy times too. The secret is how you deal with it all. There was fun and lots of laughter, and a lot of surprises too. LifeaEUR(tm)s journey is very simple. You just follow the Lord and you canaEUR(tm)t go wrong. I am still following that path today, and I can say that, aEURoeYes, indeed, I walk by faith, and not by sight!aEUR (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Redeemed Like David offers a Christ-centered, Bible-based blueprint for overcoming all forms of sexual sin.Perhaps the most notorious sexual failure in the whole Bible was King David's affair with Bathsheba. And yet, even with this massive sexual blemish in David's past, God still called King David "a man after my own heart" (Acts 13:22). How can this be?The key to understanding David's redemption is Psalm 51. In Redeemed Like David you will find that Psalm 51 is a roadmap on how to break free from the addictive sexual sins that have consistently plagued you. While there are plenty of very helpful Christian books on the topic of overcoming sexual temptation, Redeemed Like David is unique in that it takes one specific passage of Scripture and applies it directly to the question, "How can I overcome sexual temptation?" If you are looking for a practical, powerful, expositional, verse-by-verse Bible study that will give you direction on how to overcome sexual sin, this book was made for you.Redeemed Like David is designed for individual use, accountability partners, or small group Bible studies.
