The Blessing Is the Journey by Angela E. Mcknight Pdf

The Blessing is The Journey is a Christian inspiration book that gives testimony that when the hand of God is positioned on your life, there is no plan that can override his plan. It discusses the issue of fulfilling the destiny that God has planned for your life. I share overcoming obstacles and facing fears on the journey to purpose. The Bible tells us that the steps of a righteous man are ordered. It is in my journey and in my spiritual development to see these words become life lessons in the flesh. In it, I share my journey to building a relationship with God, as well as some of the trials in which God used to teach me his purpose for my life. It discusses those unique and precious gifts he gives us to help us along our journey and, most of all, his love for us and his desire to have us live fulfilled lives. I have not only learned to hear the voice of God, but I also have learned that a relationship with him will teach you to hear his voice along this journey. My proof is that over the course of twelve years, God did some of the most amazing things, as it is his will that my life be in alignment with his will. I am in no way saying that I am the perfect Christian, and in fact, there is no such thing as a perfect person. All I can say is that trusting and obeying God will eventually lead you to his promises for your life. If I am there yet is the question you might ask. It is only a question that I can answer with transparency and humility. No, I am not there yet, but I am closer than I have ever been. I believe that our lives are the evolution of who we were created to be. When you have a relationship with God and he reveals himself to you, you are moving to your higher self, the person he created you to be. This has been my journey, and this is just the beginning of my spiritual growth in him. I am his work in progress, and I am evolving toward the real me. I share my testimony as evidence that God does truly use the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. I can give witness that it is truly a humbling experience to hear the voice of God and even more so when he reveals himself to you. It is a thirst that nothing in this world can satisfy. I share with you my story of how I had to grow to an understanding of the gifts that God had placed inside of me and how they are to be used for the building of his kingdom. When God gives you a gift, it is never just for you. The gift that he gives us, when shared, ultimately shows his glory. In finding that gift, you must first be open to his love. God is love and is the greatest gift to us. It is his love that empowers us and gives us the strength to just keep going. In the face of adversity, he will give us his strength and his power to endure life’s storms and attacks that seek to rob us of his promises to give us a better life. Love is the connection to him, and when we share that love, the greater the strength in us. This is my testimony of God’s love.

A compassionate, shame-free guide for your darkest days “A one-of-a-kind book . . . to read for yourself or give to a struggling friend or loved one without the fear that depression and suicidal thoughts will be minimized, medicalized or over-spiritualized.”—Kay Warren, cofounder of Saddleback Church What happens when loving Jesus doesn’t cure you of depression, anxiety, or suicidal thoughts? You might be crushed by shame over your mental illness, only to be told by well-meaning Christians to “choose joy” and “pray more.” So you beg God to take away the pain, but nothing eases the ache inside. As darkness lingers and color drains from your world, you’re left wondering if God has abandoned you. You just want a way out. But there’s hope. In I Love Jesus, But I Want to Die, Sarah J. Robinson offers a healthy, practical, and shame-free guide for Christians struggling with mental illness. Blessed in the Mess by Joyce Meyer Pdf

Renowned Bible teacher and #1 New York Times bestselling author Joyce Meyer shows readers how to not just survive but thrive amidst both the everyday and the monumental messes we experience in life. Life is often messy. We hear people say, “My life is a mess,” or “This situation is a mess.” What they mean is that life has become difficult, painful or confusing. But God never promised us a trouble-free life. In fact, His Word tells us to expect the opposite. In John 16:33, Jesus says, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (NIV). In Blessed in the Mess, beloved Bible teacher Joyce Meyer shows us how to be blessed in the midst of life’s most challenging circumstances. The Bible is filled with instructions on how to handle ourselves when difficulty comes our way, and Blessed in the Mess shares that wisdom through poignant and practical teaching that equips us to remain stable and hopeful in every situation. No matter what problems we may face, there is a way to remain joyful and patient as God works on them. If you have not handled the messy issues or challenges in your life well in the past, then with God's help, you can begin to manage them better, starting now. We should never waste our pain. Through the wisdom distilled in this book, we can learn how to gain something from our messes, use those insights to avoid trouble in the future, and share our experiences to help other people find blessings in the midst of their messes. Flowing in God's Purpose by Irwin Brown Pdf

Flowing in God's Purpose offers different perspectives concerning spiritual warfare. It was written with theology as its theme. It is intended to show areas of our lives where the enemy may not be discernible. In our humanity, it is normal to observe trials, tests, and annoyances from a physical or psychological realm; however, we miss the bigger picture when we take an improper perspective. God understands our initial reactions because he gave us emotions. Emotions do have a place in our lives and are often manifested at the outset of trial. Flowing in God's Purpose was not written to seek agreement; it was written to offer different perspectives.

The Reason for God by Timothy Keller Pdf

A New York Times bestseller people can believe in—by "a pioneer of the new urban Christians" (Christianity Today) and the "C.S. Lewis for the 21st century" (Newsweek). Timothy Keller, the founding pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City, addresses the frequent doubts that skeptics, and even ardent believers, have about religion. Using literature, philosophy, real-life conversations, and potent reasoning, Keller explains how the belief in a Christian God is, in fact, a sound and rational one. To true believers he offers a solid platform on which to stand their ground against the backlash to religion created by the Age of Skepticism. And to skeptics, atheists, and agnostics, he provides a challenging argument for pursuing the reason for God.
