What Saith The Scripture by James Brown Pdf

An inquisitive look at what saith the scripture. Encouraging the practice of "rightly dividing the word of truth" 2 Timothy 2:15. Not all scripture is written to us but all scripture is written for us; "For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope." "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." 2 Timothy 3:16-17. A closer look at forgiveness and where it is at. Understanding that there is only one baptism; "one Lord, one faith, one baptism," Ephesians 4:5. Is that baptism physical or spiritual? What was the purpose of "Italics", why were they used and more importantly why are they in most current day versions removed? The consideration of "born again" or "in Christ" in this "If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:" Ephesians 3:2. Learning what "For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified." 1 Corinthians 2:2, is about and not to get sidetracked: "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry." 2 Timothy 4:3-5. Why Paul? "In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel." Romans 2:16. Paul is the Apostle of Christ "For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:" Romans 11:13

The Anatomy of True Christianity by N. Jerome McClain Sr. Pdf

What is the purpose of the Church? Does it have a mission? If it does, how many honest, insightful Christians would agree that as a rule, that mission is being carried out? Without a doubt, the Church is the living body of our Lord and Saviour; however churchanity is a powerful satanic tool used to confuse Christians and inhibit the full use of God's gifts. This book will help you to distinguish between the two. It will direct you through the fundamentals of being in the true Church of God. The bible admonishes us to be diligent observers of the truth. How can we, who admittedly do not know as much as our teacher, gauge those whom we have assumed to be anointed? The answer is in the word, "agreement". "Can two walk together, except they be agreed? (Amos 3:3) For example, you know beyond a shadow of a doubt who Jesus is, but your teacher represents Him as someone else. Should you continue to sit under this teacher? When it is a foregone conclusion that essential bible doctrines are not embraced by your teacher, it's time to find another church.

The Bible Says... by Dae Young Choe Pdf

Most of us begins to read the bible trying to understand our creator God and find out the way to escape from this troublesome world while struggling to cope with this fast running modern society and survive. But, reading through the bible alone would take a year, and yet finding out what it says is still another story. So, many of us close the bible before flipping over several pages and come back to wandering again for the same reason of enormous amount of scriptures and the difficulty to understand. Simply, we are trapped in this busy world of devil and the devil does not allow us to think about where we come from, where we go to and why we live in this world. That was stated in the bible as dead, saying 'And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead. (Matthew8-22)' As the result, we just go to church for self-relief and follow the instructions of the church for no reason and say we obey to God. Yet, still we do not know what God says. Leaving every teaching of religious people and traditional religious idea behind, I tried to hear from God directly through the bible based upon solid rock foundation of common sense that the truth never changes. I did not hesitate to go to the extreme to stand on that foundation and I believe that extreme faith gave me understanding divine only God who is in extreme high place. As the bible says, 'No one can come to Me, unless the Father who sent Me draws him: and I will raise him up on the last day. (John 6-44)', this book is not intended to draw people into belief but to guide God's people that are lost. In other words, it is only for Sons of God. It doesn't necessarily mean that my way is the best way. So anybody who knows the way should follow own way.
