Treasures of the Deep by Chaim Bentorah Pdf

Treasures of the Deep is not an academic book intended for the classroom. It is meant for a bed stand, living room or wherever you go for some quiet time with God's Word. These 365 daily devotionals are designed to provide short inspirational thoughts you can meditate on during the day or before going to sleep at night. Treasures of the Deep is different from most devotional books that give a little story or inspirational thought and concludes with a Scripture verse. This book begins with scripture and provides inspiration through an analysis of the original biblical Hebrew or Aramaic. Each devotional is a short word study designed to cause the reader to ponder and meditate on deeper meanings of Scripture passages that they may never have considered. It is my hope and prayer that every reader might realize that Scripture has a depth that they never dreamed possible, and that every passage may carry a message from God to each reader personally, and might encourage them to learn a bit of biblical Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic to enhance their personal Bible study.

Hebrew Word Study by Chaim Bentorah Pdf

In his third book Chaim Bentorah finds that after having discovered and exploring Gods heart, He found himself moving more in an Eastern or Semitic approach to his word studies. Rather than allowing his mind to rule his heart he found God's heart ruling his mind in his word studies. He began to feel a freedom to allow God's heart to rule His mind. When He did this He discovered that He was no longer searching or exploring the Heart of God, He was now resting in the Heart of God.

HEBREW WORD STUDY by CHAIM BENTORAH Pdf

In silence my heart saw what my eyes could not see, my heart heard what my ears could not hear and my heart spoke what my lips could not speak. In silence I was able to enter a special room in God's heart, a quiet room, a weeping room. In this room I found Jesus holding a heart in His hands, the heart of a young woman, a heart which had been broken. He was weeping over that broken heart. He was feeling the heart's hurt and loneliness. He wept over that wounded heart longing so much to heal the wound that tore it apart, but this young woman would not seek his comfort. I saw Him pick up another heart, a heart of wounded veteran. That heart was cold and barren and I watched his tear drops just roll off that hardened heart. I could sense He was wishing that each tear would somehow penetrate that heart, but this brave warrior would not open it to Him to allow the tears of His Savior to enter and soften his heart. As He picked up another broken heart I reached out to Him and touched His nail pierced hand and instantly I felt His sorrow and pain, the anguish felt by each heart and I too wept. All four of us wept. It was in this quiet, weeping room that I saw my own heart's desire. It was to not have a flourishing ministry, books published, or to even experience a healing of my body, it was only to seek and search for these hearts and let them know that there is a Savior weeping for them, longing to enter their wounded heart to allow His tears, His nailed pierced hands heal those wounds.

Praying the Names of God by Ann Spangler Pdf

A twenty-six-week devotional study by the bestselling coauthor of Women of the Bible Names in the ancient world did more than simply distinguish one person from another, they often conveyed the essential nature and character of a person. This is especially true when it comes to the names of God recorded in the Bible. Praying the Names of God explores the primary names and titles of God in the Old Testament to reveal the deeper meanings behind them. El Shadday, Elohim, Adonay, Abba, El Elyon - God Almighty, Mighty Creator, Lord, Father, God Most High - these are just a few of the names and titles of God that yield rich insights into his nature and character. Praying the Names of God shows readers how to study and pray Gods names by focusing each week on one of the primary names or titles of God. Monday - readers study a portion of Scripture that reveals the name. TuesdayThursday - readers pray specific Scripture passages related to the name. Friday - readers pray Scripture promises connected to the name. By incorporating the divine names and titles into their prayers - and learning about the biblical context in which the name was revealed - readers will gain a more intimate understanding of who God is and how he can be relied on in every circumstance of their lives.
