Some of you are going to buy this book because you will think that you know me. I hope you are in for a surprise. Some of you will remember me as mother, wife, foster mom, Stepmom, friend or maybe just a casual hi. I am giving away feelings here that have long been hidden, except on pieces of paper in a folder tucked away from a sometimes hurting world. I have reached a point in my life where I feel secure and happy enough to share with you all the love, anger, smiles and tears that has made up my life. I hope you all find enjoyment and a little piece of yourself here.

Tufti the Priestess. Live Stroll Through a Movie by Вадим Зеланд Pdf

Meet the new world sensation. It’s Tufti. Why is it that nothing seems to work out the way you want it to, despite the fact that you act according to your own free will? You might think that the reason why nothing is working out the way you want, is because that’s just how life is. But the real reason things don‘t work out the way you want them to, is because you aren‘t acting according to your own free will – you are being directed by a script. Another reason things don‘t work out the way people want them to, is because they don‘t know how to take the right action to shape events the way they want. Rather than composing the reality of the upcoming film roll, they tend to battle with the reality they face in the current frame. Reality exists only in the here and now, and what is real is real only to the extent that it has taken place in the material world. You cannot change what has already happened. Yet when you fight with your current reality, that is exactly what you are doing, because everything that surrounds you consists of something that has already happened. If you want to change the script, you have to wake up and come alive inside the movie.

In Praise of Retreat by Kirsteen MacLeod Pdf

For readers of Walden, Wild, Pilgrim at Tinker’s Creek, A Book of Silence, A Gift from the Sea and other celebrations of the inner adventure. An utterly engaging dive into our modern ways of retreat — where we go, why we’re drawn, and how it’s urgent From pilgrim paths to forest cabins, and from rented hermitages to arts temples and quiet havens for yoga and meditation, In Praise of Retreat explores the pleasures and powers of this ancient practice for modern people. Kirsteen MacLeod draws on the history of retreat and personal experiences to reveal the many ways readers can step back from society to reconnect with their deepest selves — and to their loftiest aspirations in life. In the 21st century, disengaging, even briefly, is seen by many as self-indulgent, unproductive, and antisocial. Yet to retreat is as basic a human need as being social, and everyone can benefit, whether it’s for a weekend, a month, or a lifetime. Retreat is an uncertain adventure with as many peaks and valleys as any mountain expedition, except we head inward, to recharge and find fresh energy and brave new ideas to bring back into our everyday lives.

Walk with Me by Mark Lynch Pdf

Walk with Me is an autobiography of author Mark Lynch's life, filled with many of his extraordinary experiences, struggles, tragedies, and blessings. Mark is no stranger to death, and he reveals what happened in two near-death experiences and his visit to paradise in the afterlife. Mark shares intimately of his confrontation with God and how this confrontation sparked a personal relationship with the Lord that not only changed Mark's life but also the lives of his family, friends, and acquaintances. This book offers hope for those facing their own heartaches. The reality of life is but a fading illusion. Every second of every day brings us closer to our death. The circumstances and people that enter our lives shape and mold us into who we are to become. There is a reason you are alive here on Earth. We are all not here by accident. There is also more to coincidences than you may realize. Whether you choose to believe it or not, you are here for a purpose. There is a reason for everything that happens in life, even when things do not seem to make sense. Walk with me, and I will touch your emotions as I reveal my inner self and take you through my life. My life is of an ordinary man who has survived despite extraordinary circumstances. There is life beyond death, as I have been there... twice. So let me show you the truth. Walk with me as I reveal the keys to a world you may never have known existed. Let me you show the truth, reveal the lies, and expose the myths.

How Walking Saved My Life by Heather Waring Pdf

This book will show you how the simple, often under-rated activity of walking can transform your life.I stumbled into walking when I was at University in Scotland, encouraged by a best friend whose family had always walked. I loved the feeling of freedom that it gave me and the chance to explore all the wonderful countryside around me, but I never thought that it would ever play such an important part in my life. It has, in fact, saved my life on a few occasions. In 1999 I was training to do a walk along the Great Wall of China for a charity where I was Head of Education. I was also being bullied and it was my regular walk training escapes to the Lake District that put things into perspective and helped me see what was really important. Then in 2005, we had to abandon a family holiday in Spain due to an acute back problem I sustained turning on a sun-lounger. I felt there was a message in this disaster regarding me not looking after myself, so once home I started walking. Not only did the back issue sort itself but I discovered many of the great benefits that walking brings and lost weight, toned up, was constantly in a much better mood, more positive and glowing ...... and others noticed. However, the greatest impact came in 2014 when the power of walking and the nature in which I love to walk, played a major role in my recovery from burnout and adrenal fatigue. Still today it is walking that keeps me on track, connected and putting me first. It doesn't matter whether you walk short or long distances. Whether you walk alone or with others. It doesn't matter where you walk, be it urban, rural or in wild mysterious places. What matters is that at any level most of us can do this and we can reap the many benefits both physically and mentally.

On the World and Ourselves by Zygmunt Bauman,Stanislaw Obirek Pdf

Unde malum from where does evil come? That is the question that has plagued humankind ever since Eve, seduced by the serpent, tempted Adam to taste the forbidden fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Throughout history the awareness of good and evil has always been linked to the awareness of choice and to the freedom and responsibility to choose this is what makes us human. But the responsibility to choose is a burden that weighs heavily on our shoulders, and the temptation to hand this over to someone else be they a demagogue or a scientist who claims to trace everything back to our genes is a tempting illusion, like the paradise in which humans have at last been relieved of the moral responsibility for their actions. In the second series of their conversations Zygmunt Bauman and Stanislaw Obirek reflect on the life challenges confronted by the denizens of the fragmented, individualized society of consumers and the form taken in such a society by the fundamental aspects of the human condition - such as human responsibility for the choice between good and evil, self-formation and self-assertion, the need for recognition or the call to empathy, mutual respect, human dignity and tolerance.
