A life-and-love decision… It all started with a plan to make Charles jealous—and it was all Nick David's idea. After a while, the plan ceased to be important. Protecting her heart from Nick's all-too-real advances was what really mattered to Dr. Phoebe Morton. Nick was famous for being a womanizer, yet his reputation was just a cover—to hide his fear of a broken marriage. Nick and Phoebe were obviously in love, but only a matter of life and death could make them realize that what they had together was a very precious gift that shouldn't be ignored.
Love: the Most Precious Gift of Life by Pejman Aghasi Pdf
Love is the only hope. It is only because of love that man finds it possible to reach god. If there were no love there would be no religion, no prayer. If there were no love there would be no creativity, no music, no dance, no art, no poetry. If there were no love there would be no beauty, no friendship, no happiness, no intimacy. All that is valuable in life comes through love. Love is the source of all that is nourishing and fulfilling. Love is the only heavenly phenomenon on this earth. Everything else is earthly; therefore it is only through love that one can reach to god and heavenly states of being. Without love, life becomes dull, repetitive and unfulfilling. Love: The Most Precious Gift of Life shows us that we must live with love, because that is the only way to really live. The deeper and realer your love is, the deeper and more meaningful your life is. We must think of love and life as being the same and synonymous. If love has so many blessings, why do many couples struggle and face so many difficulties in their relationships? In the second part of Love: The Most Precious Gift of Life, the root social and psychological causes of these conflicts are uncovered, and a solution for solving each problem is also presented. And in doing so it helps us to keep our relationships healthy and intimate, and enable us to embrace love, and through love, reach to our highest potential which is self-realization and enlightenment.
The poems in this book are poems that have inspired me over the years I have been writing since 1978. This is a way of expressing my feelings in words and thoughts from other peoples experiences as well as my own to explain my ideals. To me a writer is very similar to an artist. The writer focuses in his mind and then visualizes a portrait, where as the artist begins to draw the paintings. Hoping that each line falls into place, like the poet that writes the word down. Much like a puzzle that is pieced together. Then it becomes a beautiful piece of artwork. I feel I have been reaching for the stars and chasing my dreams to bring a little light to shine within your hearts. I now hold the Editors choice Award in four separate books. One is titled, Color of Life. This is a peace poem on Honorable Men Dedicated to our American heroes in the U.S.A. I also wrote a poem about our Savior titled Undying Rose. I have another poem Thorns in a book Timeless Voices. Also I wrote a poem on Birds again on first page titled Immortal Verses. This book is all about my greatest Author Jesus Christ.

Historians have credited--or blamed--Calvinism for many developments in the modern world, including capitalism, modern science, secularization, democracy, individualism, and unitarianism. These same historians, however, have largely ignored John Calvin the man. When people consider him at all, they tend to view him as little more than the joyless tyrant of Geneva who created an abstract theology as forbidding as himself. This volume, written by the eminent historian William J. Bouwsma, who has devoted his career to exploring the larger patterns of early modern European history, seeks to redress these common misconceptions of Calvin by placing him back in the proper historical context of his time. Eloquently depicting Calvin's life as a French exile, a humanist in the tradition of Erasmus, and a man unusually sensitive to the complexities and contradictions of later Renaissance culture, Bouwsma reveals a surprisingly human, plausible, ecumenical, and often sympathetic Calvin. John Calvin offers a brilliant reassessment not only of Calvin but also of the Reformation and its relationship to the movements of the Renaissance.

The beloved New York Times bestselling author reflects on home, family, friendships and writing in this deeply personal collection of essays. "The elegance of Patchett’s prose is seductive and inviting: with Patchett as a guide, readers will really get to grips with the power of struggles, failures, and triumphs alike." —Publisher's Weekly “Any story that starts will also end.” As a writer, Ann Patchett knows what the outcome of her fiction will be. Life, however, often takes turns we do not see coming. Patchett ponders this truth in these wise essays that afford a fresh and intimate look into her mind and heart. At the center of These Precious Days is the title essay, a surprising and moving meditation on an unexpected friendship that explores “what it means to be seen, to find someone with whom you can be your best and most complete self.” When Patchett chose an early galley of actor and producer Tom Hanks’ short story collection to read one night before bed, she had no idea that this single choice would be life changing. It would introduce her to a remarkable woman—Tom’s brilliant assistant Sooki—with whom she would form a profound bond that held monumental consequences for them both. A literary alchemist, Patchett plumbs the depths of her experiences to create gold: engaging and moving pieces that are both self-portrait and landscape, each vibrant with emotion and rich in insight. Turning her writer’s eye on her own experiences, she transforms the private into the universal, providing us all a way to look at our own worlds anew, and reminds how fleeting and enigmatic life can be. From the enchantments of Kate DiCamillo’s children’s books (author of The Beatryce Prophecy) to youthful memories of Paris; the cherished life gifts given by her three fathers to the unexpected influence of Charles Schultz’s Snoopy; the expansive vision of Eudora Welty to the importance of knitting, Patchett connects life and art as she illuminates what matters most. Infused with the author’s grace, wit, and warmth, the pieces in These Precious Days resonate deep in the soul, leaving an indelible mark—and demonstrate why Ann Patchett is one of the most celebrated writers of our time.
