The History Of Atlantis by Lewis Spence Pdf

The History of Atlantis may, in the light of our present knowledge of Plato 's sunken island, appear as a somewhat presumptuous title for a work, the object of which is to present a general outline of what is known concerning Atlantean civilisation. Yet the author placed this study upon a scientific basis, and in so doing he has attached the description of "history" to this work in the hope that the mere invocation of such a name will endow it with the spirit which should inspire all histories a desire to arrive at fundamental truth by every available means. Contents: Preface Introductory The Sources Of Atlantean History I: The Writings Of Plato The Sources Of Atlantean History Ii: From The Fourth Century B.C. Atlantean Historical Sources Examined The Geography Of Atlantis The Races Of Atlantis The Stone Age In Atlantis The Kings Of Atlantis Atlantis In Britain The Traditions Of Atlantis Life In Atlantis The Atlantean State And Polity The Religion Of Atlantis Animal Life In Atlantis The Colonies Of Atlantis The Atlantean Culture Complex

Atlantis and Other Lost Worlds by Frank Joseph Pdf

In a single day and night of misfortune, the island of Atlantis disappeared into the depths of the sea - Plato, 360 B.C. Ever since Plato first pondered the existence of Atlantis, the truth behind this infamous sunken city has captured the world. Atlantis and Other Lost Worlds is the most up-to-date and comprehensive investigation of this ancient island, written by the foremost authority on the subject Frank Joseph. Nowhere else will you find a more dramatic and convincing presentation of the evidence for its archaeological reality. The book uncovers the scientific genius of the ancients and the spiritual power of their mysterious religion. They are revealed as the inventors of a crystal technology to surpass our own, and the master builders of pyramidal monuments around the world. The cultural heritage of Atlantis in the civilizations of pharaonic Egypt, Bronze Age Europe, Maya Mexico and Inca Peru is clearly described. The doomed capital comes alive in a vivid recreation of its heyday of cultural splendor and imperial might. Inside these pages you will find the answers to many intriguing questions, including: • What is the most likely location of Atlantis? • How and when was Atlantis destroyed? • Has Japan's leading geologist found the sunken 'citadel' of Lemuria? • Have Russian oceanographers found the ruins of Atlantis? • What are the disturbing parallels between Atlantis and our time? Atlantis and Other Lost Worlds opens a new window on the ancient past, offering views of Atlantis and its kindred civilizations never seen before.

Atlantis and the Antedeluvian World by Ignatius Donnelly Pdf

This book is an attempt to demonstrate several distinct and novel propositions. These are: 1. That there once existed in the Atlantic Ocean, opposite the mouth of the Mediterranean Sea, a large island, which was the remnant of an Atlantic continent, and known to the ancient world as Atlantis. 2. That the description of this island given by Plato is not, as has been long supposed, fable, but veritable history. 3. That Atlantis was the region where man first rose from a state of barbarism to civilization. 4. That it became, in the course of ages, a populous and mighty nation, from whose overflowings the shores of the Gulf of Mexico, the Mississippi River, the Amazon, the Pacific coast of South America, the Mediterranean, the west coast of Europe and Africa, the Baltic, the Black Sea, and the Caspian were populated by civilized nations. 5. That it was the true Antediluvian world; the Garden of Eden; the Gardens of the Hesperides; the Elysian Fields; the Gardens of Alcinous; the Mesomphalos; the Olympos; the Asgard of the traditions of the ancient nations; representing a universal memory of a great land, where early mankind dwelt for ages in peace and happiness. 6. That the gods and goddesses of the ancient Greeks, the Phoenicians, the Hindoos, and the Scandinavians were simply the kings, queens, and heroes of Atlantis; and the acts attributed to them in mythology are a confused recollection of real historical events. 7. That the mythology of Egypt and Peru represented the original religion of Atlantis, which was sun-worship. 8. That the oldest colony formed by the Atlanteans was probably in Egypt, whose civilization was a reproduction of that of the Atlantic island. 9. That the implements of the "Bronze Age" of Europe were derived from Atlantis. The Atlanteans were also the first manufacturers of iron. 10. That the Phoenician alphabet, parent of all the European alphabets, was derived from an Atlantis alphabet, which was also conveyed from Atlantis to the Mayas of Central America. 11. That Atlantis was the original seat of the Aryan or Indo-European family of nations, as well as of the Semitic peoples, and possibly also of the Turanian races. 12. That Atlantis perished in a terrible convulsion of nature, in which the whole island sunk into the ocean, with nearly all its inhabitants. 13. That a few persons escaped in ships and on rafts, and, carried to the nations east and west the tidings of the appalling catastrophe, which has survived to our own time in the

Atlantis by Joseph Daniel Brady,Joseph Daniel Brady Ma Pdf

Under a man-made lake on an Aegean Isle, we see the back cover photo of a sculptured message. This is Atlantis' treasury location. Over 30 enclosed satellite photos of this location are no longer available via satellite. In 2013, someone terminated the satellite feed and desecrated the site by painting it with earth tone colors. Greek historian Pliny and Hebrew prophets Ezekiel and Zechariah describe Atlantis' surviving-treasury like 'Fort Knox on Steroids.' Who is salvaging the Atlantis Treasury hoard? Poseidon named it the Atlantic Island; Homer, Pausanias and the Greeks called it Chryse; Ezekiel, Jeremiah and Zechariah called it Tyrus; Socrates told Plato, who wrote the story, calling it ATLANTIS. Plato gives us the location: ..".for this sea which is within the straits of Heracles is only a harbor, having a narrow entrance...," and ..".the sea in those parts is impassable and impenetrable, because there is a shoal of mud in the way; and this was caused by the subsidence of the island." The harbor was filled in by the subsidence of the island. Find the harbor, and we have found Atlantis. Mystery solved! Now we understand the whole story. Under the subsidence of the island is a second treasury, containing many of the gold statues and artifacts that were on the surface of Atlantis, created by earthquakes and tsunamis that hit it. History says this treasury location is virgin territory for archaeologists. An immediate investigation of this site needs to be conducted. Atlantis was only a part of a larger network of civilizations controlling trade and wealth in the Mediterranean from 1500 BC to 500 BC. Sea trade was dominant and Atlantis was right in the middle of it. Evidence reveals that the 'Sea People' invasions and conquest of Mediterranean civilizations was carried out by this network. Dates and a list of these invasions are in the book. The greed and lust for wealth by this network eventually focused upon Jerusalem. In 924 BC, Egyptian Pharaoh Shishak, with partners, invaded Israel taking all from Jerusalem's temple, including the Ark of the Covenant. The evidence points its bony finger at Atlantis' treasury location, on this Aegean Isle, as the resting place for the Ark. The evidence reveals members of this network worked together to conquer and seize assets, and that they constructed 4 underground treasuries. The location of these undiscovered sites are documented, along with available photos. Over 100 photographs are in the book. Evidence also points to One of the Seven Sages of Greece as the original visitor and author of Platos' story of Atlantis. He was a Phoenician, an astronomer, a mathematician and was an associate of Solon and the Egyptian priest that initiated Platos' dialogues of Timaeus and Critias. He was trusted and esteemed by the king of Atlantis, who showed him inside the 'off limits' temple of Poseidon. The evidence for this book generates from the first hand manuscripts of ancient Mediterranean historians and geographers, as well as the ancient Hebrew prophets. By carefully piecing together their information, we have assembled an accurate picture of events occurring at that time in the Mediterranean. The location and history of the Island of Atlantis are documented, in this text, to a certainty beyond a reasonable doubt. The evidence uncovered and assembled is crystal clear. The clouded mystery of Atlantis has finally been solved by the texts of the ancient writers, combined with modern day investigative technology. The mystery is now the biography of Atlantis. Enjoy the book.
