Bits and Pieces of a Broken Heart by Janice Angela Burt Pdf

Have you ever felt that you weren't good enough? Have you ever felt unworthy of love? Have you ever lived your life in a constant state of fear? Was it fear of rejection? Fear of failure? Have you ever wished something would change? Anything? Have you ever felt so confused that you didn't know which way was up? Have you ever deeply wanted to be loved? You are not alone. In this compilation of letters, poems, and speeches, Janice Angela Burt wrestles with all of these feelings and fears. Written during the very difficult transition period of her separation and divorce, Janice holds nothing back. She allows herself, for once, to be truly seen. The topics touched on in this book include, but are not limited to: divorce, loss, sexuality, divinity, transformation, fear, love, heartbreak, betrayal, hypnotherapy, letting go, freedom, desperation, codependency, lack of self worth, authenticity and hope. Her highest hope is that this collection of writings will help someone out there feel not quite so alone and remember how amazing they truly are.

Southern Cultures by Harry L. Watson,Larry J. Griffin Pdf

What does "redneck" mean? What's going to happen to the southern accent? What makes black southerners laugh? What is "real" country music? These are the kinds of questions that pop up in this collection of notable essays from Southern Cultures, the journal of the Center for the Study of the American South at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Intentionally plural, Southern Cultures was founded in 1993 to present all sides of the American South, from sorority sisters to Pocahontas, from kudzu to the blues. This volume collects 27 essays from the journal's first fifteen years, bringing together some of the most memorable and engaging essays as well as some of those most requested for use in courses. A stellar cast of contributors discusses themes of identity, pride, traditions, changes, conflicts, and stereotypes. Topics range from black migrants in Chicago to Mexican immigrants in North Carolina, from Tennessee wrestlers to Martin Luther King, from the Civil War to contemporary debates about the Confederate flag. Funny and serious, historical and contemporary, the collection offers something new for every South-watcher, with fresh perspectives on enduring debates about the people and cultures of America's most complex region. BITS AND PIECES TO HELP SMOOTH OUT THE LUMPS ON YOUR LIFE_S JOURNEY by Mary Murray Pdf

Bits and Pieces to Help Smooth out the Lumps on Your Life's Journey is a book about finding help as you navigate your path through life and tackle the various issues and situations that arise. At times, the mistakes we make due to trusting ourselves when we lack wisdom will compound our efforts and our problems worsen. No matter how old we are, or how much we think we can handle, we can use a faithful, trustworthy, gentle, kind, loving, stable, wise, confident, forgiving, loyal and understanding God to help us along the way. Family, friends and counselors may be available, but sometimes they don't have the real-life experience behind them to provide the connection we need. After reading the bible and not studying it, I still had unanswered questions. Is there more than one baptism? What is the Trinity? What is salvation and what does that mean for me? Who and what are angels? What is prayer about and how do we get results? Who is wise counsel? How does confessing the Word of God affect our spiritual path? Who is Satan and so much more. Through the years, I have found these answers through His Word by studying it from pastors, teachers, bible studies, and getting results. I now have more peace, joy, love, strength, faith and confidence in my choices. Through Bits and Pieces, my personal journey has become remarkably easy and worry free as I have found the Savior who supplies my need graciously as I become stronger in Him. Bits and Pieces is written from my heart and soul and by God's Grace, with the simple desire to help others. Here you can find the support to grow strong, prosper, and free yourself from most havoc, failures, illnesses, and unhealthy relationships. Lighten your sorrows, grief, loss and enjoy a smoother journey. Once you are strengthened, strengthen your brother or sister.

Cherry’s Army by Cherry Rose White Pdf

There have been many books written by and about people who have undergone horrible experiences in life. My purpose in writing this account is not to describe the atrocities that I experienced. It is to chronicle the recovery process and explain how I coped as a child, and how I am coping now, with Dissociative Identity Disorder. There are other personalities in my body. DID is very confusing and very scary. If by recording my strategies in book form, I can help even one person to deal with their own distress and either remain, or become, a functional member of society, I will consider this account a success. When I first began to put my account in book form, I thought I would group the verses together according to the feelings expressed in them. I did a few verses that way before I discovered that most of the verses portrayed a number of different feelings. As I continued compiling the manuscript I decided to include them in the order that seemed to fit them. I tried to keep them in the order they were written, but as I had already mixed them up that proved to be impossible. I tried very hard not to include any verses more than once. Please excuse me for any duplicates.

Secret Trails and Buried Treasure by Savta Chapman Pdf

Within every human spirit there exists a special place, a place where the hopes and dreams of the imagination soar, unchained from the slavery of logic and the tangible, physical world. A place where the supernatural culture of Heaven’s Kingdom is the fullest reality. For some, visiting this unique place is a frivolous waste of time, a mental blowing of dust bunnies. For others this place becomes the mountain meadow within the soul, the sweeping expanse of rugged peaks, wildflowers and fragrant grasses, where steams of pure glacial water tumble and crash in prismatic waterfalls, where the spirit runs free, dancing in worship and joy. It is a place where the impossible flourishes, where dreams survive the inferno of reality to become the miraculous wonders that draw us forward into the Father’s presence. It is a spiritual journey for the spiritual pilgrim - it is the place where the supernatural is the expected reality. It is a place where hardships, devastations, sorrow, pain and peril pass through the savage cleansing fire to be transformed into a rare and priceless masterpiece of exquisite beauty. If you are this kind of pilgrim on a spiritual journey come along on the secret trails to discover buried treasure in Heavens Kingdom on the earth. This Book 2 is a continuation of Book 1 of the Midwife’s Heritage series and continues the exciting adventure that just happens to occur in the lives of two midwives. These true stories will hopefully stir up curiosity, expand your vision and wonder, and awaken a hunger for the things unseen that can impact the birth of each new spirit-vessel exponentially. It is His story written through the lives of His people. This is the Midwife’s Heritage, one that brings Glory to God our Father and brings us closer to the Father that is our God.
