There has also been a conscious attempt to streamline and simplify the material to better meet the needs of the users. Each chapter starts with its intended learning outcomes, to serve as a guide to the student. The writing style is lively, and interesting examples from actual cases are used to illustrate the legal points made. Chapter summaries, lists of key words and revision exercises help students to assess their understanding of the contents. Full referencing provides convenient 'signposting' for readers.
