Dog Named Leaf by Allen Anderson,Linda Anderson Pdf

A New York Times bestselling book! Allen and Linda Anderson adopted a traumatized one-year-old cocker spaniel who had been abandoned. Soon, the troubled dog they named “Leaf” turned their home into a war zone. Although Leaf and Allen were forging a friendship with visits to dog parks and bonding time, Leaf’s emotional issues overwhelmed the couple. Shortly after Leaf’s arrival, Allen, who had spent eight years as a big city police officer and survived so many close calls that Linda called him “Miracle Man,” received a diagnosis from his doctor that made him think his luck had finally run out. Allen had an unruptured brain aneurysm that could be fatal, and the surgery to repair it might leave him debilitated. Having seen his father live for years with the effects of a massive stroke, he dreaded that the worst fate might not be death. What Allen didn’t know is that he and Leaf, like comrades facing the ultimate battle, would be there for each other with the miracle of this man and this dog coming together at exactly the right time.

Coming to terms with a failed relationship, she must now take her ailing dachshund, Flash, in for back surgery. Animal Messengers by Regula Meyer Pdf

An animal-by-animal guide that reveals the meaning behind each encounter we have with animals • Provides sophisticated psychological insight into encounters with more than 150 animals, birds, reptiles, insects, and aquatic life • Explores how animals reflect our inner world, drawing our attention to inner turmoil, relationship issues, spiritual growth, and the deepest needs of the soul • Explains how the meaning of each encounter depends on whether the animal was hunting, fleeing, hiding, or acting indifferent when sighted We each feel connections to animals in our own way. Some of us have pets. Others admire animals in the wild. Because the outer world often reflects our internal states and animals are highly sensitive to our energies, each encounter with an animal signals something about our inner world and innermost concerns. The spontaneous, surprising contacts are the telling ones: a sparrow landing next to you, a fox darting across the road, or a bee alighting on your hand. However, even regular encounters with our pets can draw attention to our inner world and what needs to be thought over and grappled with, from psychic turmoil and relationship issues to spiritual growth and the deepest needs of the soul. Providing sophisticated psychological insight into encounters with more than 150 animals, birds, reptiles, insects, and aquatic life, Regula Meyer explores the messages each animal provides for us on a personal level when we encounter them. She explains how the meaning of each encounter depends on whether the animal was hunting, fleeing, hiding, or acting indifferent when sighted. For example, a fleeing animal is prompting you to pursue a subject consciously, while a hiding animal tells you to patiently observe something and draw insights from it. The author shows how animal encounters in the wild cause us to contemplate the present moment and inspire the flow of our perceptions, leading us to meditate on important concerns we may be ignoring or unaware of. Pets and other animals we see every day act as intensifiers of the energy for which they stand. With this animal-by-animal guide, you can discover the deep meaning behind your encounters with animals and the messages they bring as oracles of our souls.

Throw the Dog a Bone by Delores Young Pdf

My name, the author, is Delores Young. I wrote this book, Throw the Dog a Bone. My imagination was inspired by the Irish holiday St. Patrick’s Day. I named the leprechaun St. Patrick, and that’s when the book became magical. A leprechaun wouldn’t be a leprechaun without magical powers. It all started with a dog named Clover. I named him after the four-leaf clover. His owner, Mr. Tate, took Clover to the park to get rid of him because he lost his job, and his whole life changed, and he could no longer afford to take care of Clover. It was cheaper to throw that bone and tell Clover to fetch. That was how it happened. Clover looked at the big, juicy bone. When Mr. Tate threw that bone, Clover ran as fast as he could to get the bone and make Mr. Tate proud. When Clover brought back the bone to Mr. Tate, he found Mr. Tate was gone. Ouch! Clover felt betrayed and unloved. Clover lost all trust in that throw-the-bone-and-fetch game. Clover had to fend for himself. He ate out of trash cans in the park. The park attendant recognized Clover knocking over the trash cans. He decided to call the dog catcher. Clover was caught on sight. The dog catcher put Clover in the truck. That was a horrid ride for Clover, not knowing where he was going and what was gonna happen to him. This was Clover’s rock bottom. Clover stayed down for a while. There was only one direction for Clover, and that was out. A dog trainer came to the dog kennel for a dog to train. Clover was not any kind of dog; he was an Ireland dog, a Newfoundland—just the breed Mr. Trainer wants. Mr. Trainer took Clover home and trained Clover to be obedient. Two sore hearts apart were mended in this story. The leprechaun played a big magical part making that happen! The leprechaun and clover spent valuable time together. It was a lot of educational sightseeing in Ireland, seeing the sea creatures at the Aquarian Ocean World and learning the names of mysterious castles. Find out what keeps the grass so green and beautiful.
