Earnestly Contending for the Faith Study Guide by Rick Renner Pdf

Fight the Good Fight of Faith We are definitely living at the end of the age — when many events prophesied long ago are coming to pass. One of those prophesied events is apostasy that will emerge in the Church at the end of the age. What exactly does the Bible say about it? And what should be our response to these end-time developments? In this crucial series Earnestly Contending for the Faith, Rick Renner teaches about what the Bible says will occur in the last days and how we are to respond to it. In this series, Rick covers: What it means to earnestly contend for the faith. How God expects us to maintain the purity of the faith. And divine warnings to those who twist the doctrine of grace. If your desire is to stay on track with God and to stay rooted in His Word, then this is a series you will need to hear again and again so you can get these truths deep into your heart.

The Truth War Study Guide by John F. MacArthur Pdf

Right now, Truth is under attack, and much is at stake. Christians are caught in the crossfire of alternative Christian histories, emerging faulty texts, and a cultural push to eliminate absolute Truth altogether. As a result, many churches and Christians have been deceived. Worse still, they propagate the deception that poses itself as Truth! In The Truth War Study Guide John MacArthur reclaims the unwavering certainty of God's Truth and anchors Christians in the eternal, immovable promises that are found in His Word. For those struggling with contemporary society's apparent willingness to redefine "truth", The Truth War Study Guide: Empowers Christians to claim the certainties that God promises Critical evaluation of postmodern trends Teaches Christians how to identify and address the errors and false teachings smuggled into their churches For small group discussion or individual study

More Questions and Answers With Rick Renner Study Guide by Rick Renner Pdf

More Questions & Answers With Rick Renner Most of us have questions about God, the Bible, and life that we wonder about and keep on the "back burner" of our hearts and minds. Rick Renner has taught a Q & A series in the past, but in this brand-new five-part series, he tackles more questions that have been sent to him by people around the world. In his typical direct style backed by solid teaching from the Bible, Rick answers such questions as: Are we in pre-Tribulation times right now, or are we actually in the Tribulation? What is the “falling away” in Second Thessalonians 2:3? Does the Bible make any references to UFOs? What is the Judgment Seat of Christ? Is there any such thing as a generational curse? Can people be translated by the Spirit from one location to another? And more! In this series, Rick answers six questions about the end times; seven questions about faith and Bible doctrine; six questions relating to supernatural manifestations; four questions about prayer; and five questions about miscellaneous topics, such as hell and whether believers should consume alcohol. This series is chock-full of intelligent answers based on God's Word. Maybe you’ll find the answer to one of your questions!

New Testament Study Guide, Pt. 3: The Epistles & the Book of Revelation. This volume is the third of three on the New Testament. The book of Acts provides the historical context to his journeys. Along the way, we read his teachings in his 14 marvelous epistles to early Church members. Eventually, we follow Paul to Rome where he was martyred for the cause of Christ. This volume also covers the epistles of James, Peter, John, and Jude. And finally, we read the Book of Revelation?John?s apocalyptic messages written while he was on the Isle of Patmos. The cover features a classic painting of ?St. Paul at His Writing Desk,? painted by Rembrandt in 1692.

THE GUIDE TO BETTER PRAYERS by Dave Dailey Pdf

This book is a prayer book, and it contains teachings on prayer, prayer guides, and other bonus material. Many of us, if honest, struggle with prayer and really do not understand prayer or how prayer works. The truth is from our earthly perspective we think "why bother, things are going happen" and the world will carry on whether we pray or not. Hopefully and prayerfully, this book will help you see that we do not know everything, and prayer does work! In this book, there are guided prayer prompts with scripture to help you pray, the will of God. Many of the prayer guides were developed during a year of leading a prayer ministry. Every week under the Holy Spirit's guidance, I wrote prayer guides that we used as a church. These guides were highly effective in leading us to the Throne Room. This book is designed to be a launching platform that is biblically-based, and as such, the Holy Spirit will use them powerfully. Many prayers were written to meet certain prayer needs with powerful results. The first thing I learned about prayer is: first it is like a muscle that must be exercised. Second, wisdom is the greatest thing to be gleaned from prayer because many times we (in our earthly view) cannot understand God and prayer. We can become skeptical of prayer if wisdom is not gleaned. Third, relationships are built through prayer, and trust is built between the parties. I have come to realize this is the reason many of our prayers are not answered. "Until I came into the sanctuary of God; Then I understood [for I considered] their end (Psalm 73:17)." Why this book? I was saved in a revival service where the presence of God was extremely tangible. The people who led it were people of prayer and the results showed! After the meeting, I found out there was a group of college-age students who were praying for revival; the very revival where I was saved! I went to the prayer meeting and when I heard their prayers, I realized and exclaimed "you guys were praying for me!" Ever since that time in February 2002, I have been a person of prayer and always found a group of people of prayer. My life has never been the same and yours will not be either!

Reasons to Reason by Nancy A. Almodovar Pdf

Apologetics? What is that? Isn’t that for theologians and pastors? These are the rebuttals one might receive when encouraging Christians to learn and engage in apologetics, the defense of the Christian faith. This book isn’t about apologetics per se. Instead, it reviews the many benefits for Christians engaging in apologetics and learning about it. Dr. Almodovar reviews what aspects of the field helped strengthen her own faith and brought excitement in bringing the good news of the forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ as she spoke with those who aren’t Christians. Over the past years, Dr. Almodovar has actively engaged in encouraging Christians to actually do apologetics and many have come back to her saying it not only helped them answer the questions of non-believers but strengthened their own faith knowing now the great amount of evidence there is for the Christian religion. If you’ve never engaged in defending the faith, now is the time to learn how it will benefit you in your walk with Christ and perhaps excite you to dig a little deeper so you too can answer their questions about Jesus, his life, death, and resurrection for the forgiveness of all our sins.
