Living in the Balance of Grace and Faith by Andrew Wommack Pdf

Popular Bible teacher and host of the Gospel Truth broadcast, Andrew Wommack takes on one of the biggest controversies of the church, the freedom of God's grace verses the faith of the believer. Wommack reveals that God's power is not released from only grace or only faith. God's blessings come through a balance of both grace and faith. Addressing many of the misconceptions believers are taught in the Church today, this book opens up the Scriptures revealing the vital connection between grace and faith. Many believers think they walk in both grace and faith when actually they are misusing one or both of these principles. Wommack addresses: * Some believers willingly sin believing Gods grace will cover them, while the blessing of grace is not to sin, but to release guilt and condemnation when they make a mistake. * Other believers think they must "work" their faith by ritualistic prayer, confession, or Bible study. Although all these things are good, Jesus Christ set believers free from works of the law. God wants a relationship where He can communicate directly to each believer. * Grace and faith work together. When believers receive the unmerited favor or grace of God, they can release their faith without doubt or reservation and receive God's blessings. Andrew Wommack in his logical, practical style brings believers back on track in their Christian walk through living in the balance of grace and faith.

Fight the Good Fight: Voices of Faith from the Second World War by John Broom Pdf

The Second World War challenged many of the concepts that had provided stability and unity in the world. As totalitarian regimes in Europe and Asia attempted to impose their world view on their neighbours, a struggle for what Winston Churchill described as `Christian civilisation took place on many fronts. On the home front, on land, on sea and in the air, as well as in the horrific concentration camps of Europe and prisoner of war camps in the Far East, people of a Christian faith found their beliefs challenged. However, for many this challenge provided an affirmation of that faith, as it provided a rock amidst the ever shifting sands of circumstance. This book contains the accounts of twenty such individuals, many drawn from previously unpublished sources. Their testimonies provide evidence that during a time of discord, disruption, dislocation and death, the Christian faith remained a key force in sustaining morale and a willingness to fight the good fight.Interesting Facts King George VI called National Days of Prayer during Britains darkest days in 1940Had Michael Benn survived the war, he would have become the 2nd Viscount Stansgate, meaning his brother, Tony, would not have had to fight to renounce his peerageBill Frankland avoided near certain death at the Alexandra Hospital Massacre by the toss of a coinStanley Warren only found out about the rediscovery of his Changi Murals during a chance work conversation in the 1950sAs a boy, Ken Tout was told by his parents to cross the street to avoid walking past the Catholic church. What if you could find a way to share your faith in Jesus that feels natural, fits your personality, and ignites a fire in others? In this video-based evangelism training course (video streaming code included), author of Becoming a Contagious Christian Mark Mittelberg introduces five approaches to evangelism to help you determine which of them fit best with your unique gifts and personality: Friendship-Building Selfless-Serving Story-Sharing Reason-Giving Truth-Telling As disciples of Christ, we are called to share the gospel, but few of us are naturally comfortable with evangelism. We wrestle with a sense of insecurity, a lack of preparation, and the sense that reaching out to others might force us to act like someone we're not. And many of us feel guilty when we fail to use an opportunity to talk about our faith, lowering our confidence even further. Building upon popular personality-type methods, the Contagious Faith assessment will help you identify your primary style, along with any secondary styles you discover. You'll learn next steps for developing and deploying your natural approach to evangelism and work through interactive prompts to practice the methods Mark unpacks in the videos. The Contagious Faith Study Guide can be used in small groups, classes, student ministries, and church-wide campaigns and has everything you need to participate, including: The guide itself—with discussion and personal reflection questions, prompts, video notes, and a leader's guide. Now Abides: Faith, Hope, Love by Jerene B. Wright Pdf

For Karsi'hara Two months felt like forever, especially since becoming aware of her prominent gift. She had chosen to become inconspicuous about what was happening to her because she was only able to access that realm as she slept. Having this ability to travel into another place in time was scary enough, not to mention to be able to see and speak with those in that realm. As she was able to overcome the initial shock her abilities began to sharpen more than she could ever imagine. Meeting Jared and his sister and learning that they had the same gift was amazing; she was floored the first time they spoke to one another. It was mind-blowing because neither of them would ever in a thousand years have comprehended such a thing. Lisa has finally awakened, but Jabali has not. Relatives from both sides of the family have just about put their lives on hold, as well as the Henry's who are now working on their marriage. Tony prepares to head back to Japan along with some of the other family members to find out about Jabali's parents, also needing to understand what exactly the shootout at the O'Hare Airport had been all about, what had made all those mothers decide to risk their lives along with their children in such a dramatic way. Upon his arrival in Japan, Tony will meet with his boss Mr. Yao Yamamoto, who will soon find out some horrifying news as well. Together they will potentially get to the bottom of whatever has been going on right under their noses. You will be able to meet members of Kasi'hara's family while learning about how their love for the father has shaped them into some of the warmest and most magnificent people on this planet, seemingly so unreal that it would almost appear unimaginable that they truly exist, I know you will be able to appreciate how God has guided the hands of his people into becoming extraordinary examples of his love and greatness through their faith hope and love for him. Now Abides: Faith, Hope, Love Book 2 gives you not only a glance into another world but also a taste of whom our father the creator of everything really is. So please sit back and let's get started. As always, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Sincerely, Jerene B. Wright 52

Believing Faith Speaks by Eric Dunbar Pdf

Faith is a gift from God, and although it is not always apparent, everyone has faith. Sadly, many people do not know how to use their faith, and what's even worse, they confuse faith with blind hope. Believing Faith Speaks is a no-nonsense guide to speaking, activating, feeding, exercising, and working your faith according to the Bible. In order to have merit, your faith must be rooted in the Rock of the Word of God. You cannot build a solid foundation of faith on the sandy ground of what you think, what you feel, or what you have heard about God. Your understanding of faith must be founded on what God says of Himself in His written Word. In Believing Faith Speaks, Author, Eric Dunbar talks about faith from the perspective of the average disciple of Christ. Believing Faith Speaks will help you understand how important it is to believe what you speak. It will also teach you how to speak what you believe, as well as teach you the importance of speaking the living Word of God to your situation. The Bible says "God has given every person the measure of faith" (Romans 12:3). That means we all have an equal measure of faith. In "Believing Faith Speaks" you will learn how to use your measure of faith to its fullest potential. You will learn how to activate, nourish, and convert mustard seed faith into awesome mountain moving faith with which you will be able to accomplish the impossible. Faith is something that every believer must learn to possess. It is the one thing that all believers will use daily to do battle against the spiritual forces of darkness. Dunbar explains the fundamentals of faith and why faith is so important to our justification. Faith is complex, but yet so simple. The simplicity of faith is that you don't have to understand faith to have faith. The complexity of faith is working something that you possess, while at the same time, not really understanding how it works. Jesus often used parables to teach kingdom truths to His disciples. The key to understanding how faith operates is revealed in the Parable of the Sower. Having faith is a lot like having a tomato seed. You don't have to understand how a tomato seed produces a tomato plant to get a tomato. God has placed the substance needed to produce a tomato within the tomato seed. When the plant has matured, it will produce tomatoes effortlessly. All you need is a tomato seed, some soil, water, and just enough faith to believe that God will make it grow. The tomato is in the seed. Likewise, everything you desire is in the seed of your faith. Hope is the seed which produces faith. The Parable of the Sower makes that very clear. The message of Believing Faith Speaks is the same message that the Apostle Paul delivered to the churches of Rome and Galatia. It is also the gospel message to the present day church. In Ephesians 2:8-9, Paul says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works." God has given us His grace to work effectively. It is important that we have good works because good works is evidence of our salvation. However, good works are not the condition of our salvation. The condition of salvation is based on grace through faith in Christ apart from works. Faith bridges the gap between the physical and spiritual words; without faith, we cannot please God. People do all kind of things to please God. But the Bible teaches us that God is pleased by what we believe rather than what we do. Abraham believed God, and God declared him righteous. God created us to commune with Him. We can only commune with God by faith. Faith is all about what you believe and your faith walk begins with what you believe about God. God's desire is that we enter into His rest. If we are to enter into God's rest we must exercise the faith of God. And since we have the same spirit of faith according to what is written, "I believed and therefore I spoke," we also believe and therefore speak.
