Finding F*ck Yes by Clare Marie Edgeman Pdf

Clare Marie Edgeman’s journey to Finding F*ck Yes is chocolate cake in an era of paleo diets and the Whole 30: indulgent, sticky, and not diet-culture friendly. From her nerdy teenage years in rural Montana to her empowered late twenties in New York City, this vulnerable memoir is simultaneously hilarious, heartwarming, and painfully, beautifully authentic. Edgeman holds nothing back in this striking debut, as she describes her unconventional and promiscuous path to body positivity—a journey irrevocably tied to her rebellion against the constraints of Type 1 diabetes. Finding F*ck Yes: A Memoir of Orgasms & Insulin is a reflection of our society, a meditation on self-worth, a treatise on how we treat women who love sex, and a challenge of how we view women who are not thin.

Warrior's Rage by Douglas MacGregor Pdf

On 26 February 1991, cavalry troops of “Cougar Squadron,” the 2nd Squadron of the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment, charged out of a sandstorm during Operation Desert Storm and caught Iraq’s Republican Guard Corps in the open desert along the North-South grid line of a military map referred to as the “73 Easting.” Taken by surprise, the defending Iraqi armor brigade was swept away in salvos of American tank and missile fire in what became the U.S. Army’s largest tank battle since World War II. Douglas Macgregor, the man who trained and led Cougar Squadron into battle, recounts two stories. One is the inspiring tale of the valiant American soldiers, sergeants, lieutenants, and captains who fought and won the battle. The other is a story of failed generalship, one that explains why Iraq’s Republican Guard escaped, ensuring that Saddam Hussein’s regime survived and America’s war with Iraq dragged on. Certain to provoke debate, this is the latest book from the controversial and influential military veteran whose two previous books, Breaking the Phalanx and Transformation Under Fire, are credited with influencing thinking and organization inside America’s ground forces and figure prominently in current discussions about military strategy and defense policies. Its fast-moving battle narrative, told from the vantage point of Macgregor’s Abrams tank, and its detailed portraits of American soldiers, along with vivid descriptions of the devastating technology of mounted warfare, will captivate anyone with a taste for adventure as well as an interest in contemporary military history.

Graph-Theoretic Concepts in Computer Science by Hajo Broersma,Thomas Erlebach,Tom Friedetzky,Daniel Paulusma Pdf

The 34th International Workshop on Graph-Theoretic Concepts in Computer Science (WG 2008) took place in Van Mildert College at Durham University, UK, 30 June – 2 July 2008. The approximately 80 participants came from va- ous countries all over the world, among them Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Hungary,Israel, Italy, Japan, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, UK and the USA. WG 2008 continued the series of 33 previous WG conferences. Since 1975, the WG conference has taken place 21 times in Germany, four times in The Netherlands, twice in Austria as well as once in Italy, Slovakia, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, France, Norway and now in the UK. The WG conference traditionally aims at uniting theory and practice by demonstrating how graph-theoretic concepts can be applied to various areas in computer science, or by extracting new problems from applications. The goal is to present recent researchresults and to identify and exploredirections of future research. The continuing interest in the WG conferences was re?ected in the number and quality of submissions; 76 papers were submitted and in an evaluation p- cess with four reports per submission, 30 papers were accepted by the Program Committee for the conference. Due to the high number of submissions and the limited schedule of 3 days, various good papers could not be accepted. Therewereexcellent invited talks by Giuseppe Di Battista(UniversitàRoma Tre,Italy)onalgorithmicaspectsof(un)-stableroutingintheInternet,byLeszek G?sieniec (University of Liverpool, UK) on memory-e?cient graph exploration, andbyMartinGrohe(Humboldt-UniversitätzuBerlin,Germany)onalgorithmic meta theorems.
