God Within by Patti Conklin Pdf

Patti Conklin believes that when the universe began, a cacophony of tones, which we now identify as frequency, echoed throughout the universe, and they were both chaotic and highly ordered. This book is about how we can use that knowledge to impact our physical lives. Patti Conklin has learned that everything in the universe has a frequency, and that quantum physics goes hand in hand with metaphysics, even though we are taught that the two are separate. We are all made up of particles which vibrate, and these particles were created by a source . . . a God or Goddess she refers to as Father, which is greater than the sum total of us humans. In her work as a healer, she has learned from the work of Bruce Lipton on cellular biology and Richard Gerber on vibrational medicine. She has developed a toolbox, a method to usethe frequencies of light and sound to heal thousands of people. Here are numerous true examples of people who experience real changes in health, well-being, and spiritual transformation. Sometimes we believe pain is necessary to heal. We often don't have the faith to believe miracles can happen in the blink of an eye. This book will help heal that illusion in an easy, comprehensive way. Whether you believe in science or faith, in truth theidea that they are separate is only a perception.

God's Voice Within by Mark E. Thibodeaux Pdf

Many of us do not trust our own thoughts, feelings, and desires when it comes to discerning God’s will. Instead we look outside ourselves to determine what God wants from and for us. In God’s Voice Within, spiritual director Mark E. Thibodeaux, SJ, shows us how to use Ignatian discernment to access our own spiritual intuition and understand that the most trustworthy wisdom of all comes not from outside sources, but from God working through us. God’s Voice Within is intended for people who know that there is more to the spiritual life than they are currently experiencing and are ready to take the next step in their walk of faith by making effective discernment—specifically Ignatian discernment—a daily practice. Ultimately, God’s Voice Within teaches us to discern what is at the root of our actions and emotions, which in turn allows us to respond to God’s promptings inside us rather than unconsciously reacting to life around us.

The God Within by Emil Fackenheim Pdf

For nineteenth-century thinkers, the central problem of religious consciousness in the modern West was the tension between prevailing concepts of individual autonomy and the traditional Judaeo-Christian claim for divine revelation. The God Within brings together ten of Professor Emil Fackenheim's essays on the German Idealists who struggled to resolve this tension. This philosophic preoccupation found its most searching and comprehensive expression, when the traditional notion of 'God as Transcendent' was reconceptualized as 'the God within.' The internalization of God's `otherness' reached its climax with Hegel, the subject of Fackenheim's earlier work, The Religious Dimension in Hegel's Thought. This long-awaited companion to that volume examines the earlier stages of the process, beginning with its initiator, Kant, then considering Schelling in both his earlier and later phases, and finally, looking once more at Hegel. The investigation of this movement, together with the related themes of history and the literary arts, leads to reflection on the significance of taking historicity seriously. Included is the classic, much-cited article `Metaphysics and Historicity,' which connects the philosophy of German Idealists to twentieth-century questions of historicity and existential thought in particular. The previously unpublished essay `Schelling in 1800-1801: Art as Revelation,' provides an overview of philosophical history from Kant through Fichte and Schleiermacher, to the later Schelling. All the essays gathered here are concerned with the radical singularity of history and existence on the one hand and the demands of philosophical truth on the other. They are informed by Professor Fackenheim's engagement with the profound philosophical challenges of our day--particularly his efforts, as a Jewish theologian, to confront the horrors of the Holocaust. We see, through Fackenheim's exposition, how these thinkers sought to come to terms with the presence of radical evil, a problem whose modern relevance is explored in this volume's epilogue, the 1988 essay `Holocaust and Weltanschauung: Philosophical Reflections on Why They Did It.'

Journey to God- A spiritual roadmap to find God within. by sanjeev sareen Pdf

We all are on a spiritual journey called the journey to God. The journey starts from ‘I’, as various ego identifications, and gets completed when we realize ourselves- as we truly are. It starts when the soul after coming from the Spirit, starts its outward journey in the illusionary materialistic world. During the journey, juggling through the maze of Maaya- illusions, it forgets its true identity and starts assuming many false identifications with name, fame, forms, caste, color, status, etc. But a stage comes when not getting permanent happiness, after suffering in many incarnations, a spiritual awakening comes. We- the individual souls then start looking for spiritual direction. We shift focus and start our inward journey looking for The Spirit- our own true identity. This book describes in detail the whole journey and how it matters to us. Various Questions about life then start emerging. A small voice within begins to question: Who am I? who is God? why God made the world? what is my relationship with God? what is the purpose of my creation? Who am I and why do I matter? The Search for the meaning of life thus begins. These questions appear quite often in our lifetime but we turn away from them. There are many moments we are provoked to ask these. We feel since childhood, a vague nostalgia for more, a divine longing. In many ways, it is the central struggle of every human life. And whether you are 7 or 70 or someplace in between, you need to know these. This book came to life when in one of my meditation classes, I was asked to answer the question of who I am- the most profound and deepest question of all the time; the first question in all philosophies. Sometimes we avoid discovering what we are. It is mainly because inquiring earnestly could mean the death of something we hold onto, like the idea we have of ourselves, the personality, ego, and all that comes with it. Though it took around 60 days to complete this book, it contains 60 years of my introspection on these soul-searching questions. I have tried to share my knowledge on these questions in a very simple structured way, with a number of examples, stories, poems, experiments, inferred deductions, and Vedic explanations., The book will surely attract sufficient attention and stretch of mind in certain places to understand the subtle subject. After realization, the journey gets completed and the soul merges back with the spirit from which it came. We feel oneness with God and everything. This journey normally is a very long one, involving many incarnations with all the pains and pleasures which life throws before us. But as the masters say, we can complete the journey in one lifetime, reaching the ultimate realization called Nirvana, Moksha. In that stage, as Vivekananda says, “I has all become and all is I. Oneness in all beings. All beings in self and self in all beings”. That is freedom from suffering and sorrow. Journey with me, know about you and find the purpose of life. The journey through this book will transform you from a limited ‘I’ to an infinite Self. You are already that. The book will bring up to your active awareness the things you already knew deep within but have forgotten now.

God Is Not Great by Christopher Hitchens Pdf

Christopher Hitchens, described in the London Observer as “one of the most prolific, as well as brilliant, journalists of our time” takes on his biggest subject yet–the increasingly dangerous role of religion in the world. In the tradition of Bertrand Russell’s Why I Am Not a Christian and Sam Harris’s recent bestseller, The End Of Faith, Christopher Hitchens makes the ultimate case against religion. With a close and erudite reading of the major religious texts, he documents the ways in which religion is a man-made wish, a cause of dangerous sexual repression, and a distortion of our origins in the cosmos. With eloquent clarity, Hitchens frames the argument for a more secular life based on science and reason, in which hell is replaced by the Hubble Telescope’s awesome view of the universe, and Moses and the burning bush give way to the beauty and symmetry of the double helix.
