She knows when he is pretending to be okay and smiling when he is dying in silence. Now that is a level, and God desires that, intimacy with God and a relationship with him is the end to which Christ died so that when you die you can share eternity with him in heaven. So it's not about knowing about Jesus, it is about Jesus knowing you. Do you want to make heaven and be part of the kingdom Jesus talked about? Then you must be born again for that is the access, the key to the kingdom that is what entitles you to all that pertains to life and godliness.
