'That's the way it works in this family. Believe what you wanna believe. Twist this. Ignore the other. That's how we survive.' Steven has always tried to be a good person. He works hard. He looks after his family. But, suddenly, everyone starts accusing him of things. His wife accuses him of being unfaithful. His mother accuses him of being coercive. And his brother, Barry, accuses him of...what exactly? Barry won't say. Or can't. Or perhaps... Steven hasn't done anything at all. Following its critically acclaimed premiere at Soho Theatre in 2007, Philip Ridley's gripping narrative of memory, manipulation, and power – now regarded as a modern classic – returns in a new production by long-time collaborators, Lidless Theatre. This edition was published alongside the production at the Park Theatre, London, in May 2023.

Knocking from Inside / Poems by Tiel Aisha Ansari Pdf
KNOCKING FROM INSIDE, BY TIEL AISHA ANSARI, is the journey of the human soul towards the Divine approached through a number of doorways: sorrow, the natural world, and the listening heart. We travel through both real and illusionary lands to (re)join the Beloved at the end of all paths. "When Tiel says 'God' she means it, in all her various ways and fresh poetic stratagems, in these poems in which there are many strata, and in this book which contains many gems." - Daniel Abdal-Hayy Moore
A story about difference, exclusion, experience, and ultimately the embrace of one's core self, Child of Glass explores the interplay between inner and outer and the journey we have to go on to be at home within ourselves.
Skeleton Leaves - Preserving Leaves for Everlasting Beauty by Dueep Jyot Singh,John Davidson Pdf

So this book is going to tell you all about how you can preserve skeleton leaves – also known as phantom leaves in Victorian times when every woman who had a little bit of time on her hands pressed these leaves in either wooden presses or between the pages of a book, and made something beautiful out of them, when she had the time and inclination. So when you look at the leaf in your hand, you are going to notice that it is made up of green material, which gives the color, solidarity, and coherent shape to the leaf. This green material is going to stick to the vascular material, which is also known as the veinwork. Our job is to get rid of the green material in such a way, that the beautiful vascular network can be seen in all its beauty while keeping well within the shape and structure of the leaves. If you are a sentimental type, and have traveled to a number of places, there is a chance that you are going to pick up a flower from a place, of which the memories are very pleasant, and also a leaf, for reminiscence sake. The only problem is, by the time the leaf dries, it is going to be really brittle, and the moment you pick it up, it is either going to crumple up or break. If you put them in a vase, it is going to lose its color, and you are going to have brown leaves collected from the Acropolis and the Parthenon or Mount Olympus, instead of those lovely green Laurel leaves! However, if you do a little bit of proper skeletonizing, you are going to have all those laurels and olive leaves to take you down memory lane 50 years from now. The positive thing about skeletonizing these leaves is that they are going to be flexible as well as strong. You can bend them, and even fold them.
Microbial Ecology of Leaves by John H. Andrews,Susan S. Hirano Pdf
The leaf surface or phyllosphere is a major habitat for microorganisms. Microbes on or within leaves play important roles in plant ecology, and these microbes can be manipulated to enhance plant growth or reduce plant disease. This book presents a number of critical reviews by internationally recognized experts on the microbial ecology of leaves. Topics include methods of assessment of microbial populations on leaf surfaces, leaves as reservoirs of ice nucleation phenomenon, and leaves as microbial habitats in both aquatic and terrestrial environments. The book will be of interest to students and scientists in numerous disciplines, including botany, aerobiology, meteorology, ecology, agriculture, and microbiology.

Innate Immunity by Jonathan Ewbank,Eric Vivier Pdf
Immunologists today are interested in all of the diverse cell-types involved in host defense and have a deeper appreciation of the importance of innate immune mechanisms as a first line of protection against pathogens. This volume thus discusses the isolation and functional characterization of cells involved in innate immunity in mouse and man, including mast cells and eosinophils. Other focuses include natural killer cells, methods in statistics, in vivo imaging, genome engineering, and mutagenesis and culture that are adapted to the study of innate immunity in these hosts. These are complemented with a series of chapters dealing with alternative models: plants, worms, mosquitoes, flies, and fish. Together, these approaches and models are being used to dissect the complex interplay between hosts and pathogens and contribute to developing strategies to help fight infection. With chapters written by experts on the cutting-edge of this technology, Innate Immunity is an essential reference for immunologists, histologists, geneticists, and molecular biologists.
