Mitochondria Diet by Jeffrey Winzant Pdf

Did you know that mitochondrial health is an essential key to longevity and overall well-being? Mitochondria are often overlooked in the body’s complex cellular structure. They may not get as much attention as the brain or heart, but they are integral to overall health just like any other organ, and your health can be affected by the inner workings of these tiny organelles. For example, when your cells don’t use energy properly from food because they cannot metabolize glucose (a type of sugar), your mitochondria cellular structures stop functioning efficiently, resulting in insulin resistance as well—both upstream triggers for health problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease and much more. Fortunately, there are many steps that you can take to manage these mitochondrial dysfunctions through nutrition. That’s why we have outlined a 3-week meal plan designed with your mitochondria in mind. First things first, it’s a good idea to understand what mitochondria are and why they are vital for optimal health. Stay tuned for a deep dive into what they do, why you should care about them, and how you can take better care of them through nutrition. In this guide, you’ll discover: ● What are mitochondria ● Diet tips to help improve your mitochondria function ● Symptoms you can tell your cellular structures are not working properly ● A seven-day weekly plan ● Sample recipes to follow

Quantum Mitochondrial Nutrition by Aysegul Coruhlu Pdf

Human beings produce energy according to quantum principles. Therefore, human beings need to eat what is consistent with quantum biology. Human beings must eat quantum. This book will help you to eat in a way that is appropriate for the biology of our mitochondria-our source of life, our energy engines. The thousands of mitochondria in each of our cells are there only for us to produce energy. Altogether they number trillions, and we are dependent on them.- Even a strand of our hair cannot grow without the energy from mitochondria. - Our aging cells cannot be renewed without the energy produced by mitochondria.- We will not recover from diseases if mitochondria do not produce energy. We are dependent on that energy for something as simple as blinking an eye and something as vital as our immune system intercepting a cancer cell. All our life functions are dependent on that energy. We must secure that energy. And what's more, we must do this for every second of twenty-four hours a day. We must do whatever it takes for our mitochondria to produce that energy for us. We must give whatever source of energy they choose as fuel to these energy engines. Otherwise, we shall die. Our afflictions in illness and cures in treatment are the same for all of us: choosing the most appropriate fuel for our mitochondrial engine, so that it may produce the best energy. That is our fundamental task. That is our prime concern. The best fuel is the most appropriate one (nothing more) for our mitochondria's biology, our mitochondria's quantum biology. Classical biology is now inadequate in explaining the complex energy production in mitochondria. The new biology is quantum biology. If we want to stay alive for many years and live a healthy life, we cannot go against the unequivocal principles of biology. We receive energy that supplies our vitality according to quantum biological principles of mitochondria. In other words, we must abide by the rules of quantum biology. The medicine of the future will merely be to prevent initial damage. In the future, physicians will not be diagnosing diseases.Consequently, there will no longer be such a thing as curing diseases. Medicine, biophysics, biomedicine, quantum physics, and electronics will be intertwined, and the system faults will be dealt with at micro and molecular levels. There will be a greater need for quantum biologists than for surgeons. These are not exaggerations, they just need broader thinking. Since we accept that we are biological creatures, we must stop ignoring the biology of our smallest units-the cells, and the organelles inside them. The secret that makes the human being a special living species is hidden in the system inside these cells. The cells' own inner processes, energy production, intercellular communication, the cell systems' functioning as a whole, the cells being synchronized with the earth, sun, and universe occur entirely according to the rules of quantum biology. These are subatomic events that seem strange to us.Subatomic little particles (not just electrons and protons but quarks, tachyons, etc.) and information about their effects on health and vitality will in time be a source of amazement.Throughout this book, I have only attempted to clarify matters at the cell and mitochondria levels-the deepest points to which we can go down. If we can understand even this much, we can establish the link between our health and getting ill.

Life - The Epic Story of Our Mitochondria by Lee Know ND Pdf

"Why do we age? Why does cancer develop? What's the connection between heart failure and Alzheimer's disease, or infertility and hearing loss? Can we extend lifespan, and if so, how? What is the Exercise Paradox? Why do antioxidant supplements sometimes do more harm than good? Many will be amazed to learn that all these questions, and many more, can be answered by a single point of discussion-mitochondria and bioenergetics. This legendary saga began over two billion years ago, when one bacterium entered another without being digested, ultimately creating the first mitochondrion. Since then, for life to exist beyond single-celled bacteria, it's the mitochondria that are responsible for this life-giving energy. Yet, current research has also revealed a dark side; many seemingly unconnected degenerative diseases have their roots in dysfunctional mitochondria. Modern research, however, has also endowed us with the knowledge on how to optimize its function, which is of critical importance to our health and longevity. By reading this book, you are about to dive into this epic story, and learn how to add years to your life, and life to your years."--Back cover.

Mitochondria in Skeletal Muscle Health, Aging and Diseases by Gilles Gouspillou,Russell T. Hepple Pdf

Skeletal muscle is the most abudant tissue of the human body, making up to 40 to 50% of the human body mass. While the importance of optimal muscle function is well recognized in the athletic field, its significance for general health is often underappreciated. In fact, the evidence that muscle mass, strength and metabolism are essential for our overall health is overwhelming. As the largest protein reservoir in the human body, muscles are essential in the acute response to critical illness such as sepsis, advanced cancer, and traumatic injury. Loss of skeletal muscle mass has also been associated with weakness, fatigue, insulin resistance, falls, fractures, frailty, disability, several chronic diseases and death. As a consequence, maintaining skeletal muscle mass, strength and metabolism throughout the lifespan is critical to the maintenance of whole body health. Mitochondria are fascinating organelles regulating many critical cellular processes for skeletal muscle physiology, including for instance energy supply, reactive oxygen species production, calcium homeostasis and the regulation of apoptosis. It is therefore not surprising that mitochondrial dysfunction has been implicated in a large number of adverse events/conditions and pathologies affecting skeletal muscle health. While the importance of normal mitochondrial function is well recognized for muscle physiology, there are important aspects of mitochondrial biology that are still poorly understood. These include mitochondrial dynamics (fusion and fission processes), morphology and processes involved in mitochondrial quality control (mitophagy). Defining the mechanisms regulating these different aspects of mitochondrial biology, their importance for muscle physiology, as well as the interrelations will be critical for expanding understanding of the role played by mitochondria in skeletal muscle physiology and health. The present research topic provides readers with novel experimental approaches, knowledge, hypotheses and findings related to all aspects of mitochondrial biology in healthy and diseased muscle cells.
