Roadmap for Life Paradigm by Thunderheart Pdf

Roadmap for Life Paradigm: A Paradigm for the Process of Change by Thunderheart In 1992 Thunderheart was working one night when the voice of Yeshua Ben Joseph (Jesus of Nazareth) spoke to him to read a section in the Bible. Through life experiences, searching the truth, he came to understand what Yeshua wanted him to understand. The author’s original intention was to learn about business, but instead he ended up learning a paradigm process of change that everyone, regardless of their background in life, goes through. He tested this process in his own life, in his doctoral studies, and in examining how other people live. He found that he could fit any idea, concept, or other change concepts that other authors wrote about into the Roadmap for Life Paradigm. He came to the realization that if he dies tomorrow and begins life again as a child, he would go through this Roadmap for Life Paradigm process all over again! That is how powerful this teaching is! His inner Being pushed the drive to know the truth to the uttermost limits and to seek understanding that enabled him to develop a cohesive means of teaching this paradigm. Roadmap for Life Paradigm delves into the self-realization of the processes of change that a person goes through in their lifetime. It brings from the subconscious the process already at work to conscious awareness so that the reader can live an intentional life that leads toward a nonjudgmental egoless way of knowing, understanding, and remembering.

Maturation: The Adult Paradigm by Skipi Lundquist Smoot, PhD Pdf

Irvine, CA – (Release Date TBD) –A clear boundary between adolescent and adult development has not yet been identified. In her enlightening new book, author Skipi Lundquist Smoot, PhD cites a majority of Adult Emotional Distress and Anxiety to fall on the continuum of Ego & Cognitive Immaturity/Maturity vs Neurosis/Wellness. Dr. Smoot defines Psychological Maturity as a necessary but usually disregarded “Missing Link” for attainment of functional resolution of anxiety. This Adult stage of Human Development leads to higher levels of ability to tolerate frustration, delay gratification and accept objective reality. Educational Methods for its achievement can be learned to help arrive at more successful life choices. We are born with a mission—to explore our own path. Psychological Maturation requires tolerance of personal differences without giving up individuality in the presence of emotional or social pressure to do otherwise. Mature choices are based on ability to think about feelings and choose to respond to them or not based on what is best for the self and others in the long run.

Psychology of Career Adaptability, Employability and Resilience by Kobus Maree Pdf

This book examines how the career counselling profession should respond to the changes in the world of work that have resulted from the increasing need to communicate faster and disseminate information more efficiently. It emphasizes the twin aims of enhancing a persons’ career adaptability and helping them to become more employable, rather than linearly trying to find a job and remaining in one organisation for their entire career-lives. The book shows that, to achieve these aims, people need to acquire career resilience, especially since the world of work no longer provides workers with work-holding environments for the duration of their career-lives. It takes into account historical analyses which show that whenever major technological change has occurred and widespread job losses have ensued, people have managed to use the new technology to create new employment opportunities. Readers from career psychology and management research, vocational and professional career coaching, and students of career psychology will find this book delivers sound, updated theory demonstrating how perceived threats in the 21st century can conceivably be turned into opportunities.

Conflicting Paradigms in Adult Literacy Education by George Demetrion Pdf

The book provides a historical overview of adult literacy theory, policy, practice, and research from the mid-1980s to the present. The main focus is a descriptive analysis of three distinctive schools of literacy: the Freirean-based participatory literacy movement grounded in oppositional politics and grass-roots community activism; the British-based New Literacy Studies that focuses on the ways in which diverse students utilize various literacy practices in their daily lives; and the U.S. federal government's focus on functional literacy linked to a 45-year policy emphasis on workforce readiness. These three schools of thought lead to substantially different implications over such critical areas as curriculum, assessment and accountability, and the socio-cultural role of literacy, policy, and political culture, which are discussed throughout the chapters of the book. This discussion includes a chapter on research traditions that closely parallels these perspectives on literacy education. Demetrion argues that unless values grounded ultimately in political culture emerge, it is exceedingly unlikely that the adult literacy field will be able to move from its current marginalized status toward that of achieving the level of public and policy legitimacy many believe it needs for its long-term institutional flourishing. It is argued that any settlement of this issue must be accomplished in the field of practice rather than the ground of theory, even as theoretical insight can help to frame the issues. Conflicting Paradigms in Adult Literacy Education: In Quest of a U.S. Democratic Politics of Literacy speaks to a wide audience, including not only the adult literacy community, but anyone interested in educational theory, practice, policy, research traditions, or political culture, and more fundamentally, in their intersection. Given the breadth of the topics covered, as well as the broad scope of the argument, the book is also meant for those who would like to gain a useful perspective on contemporary U.S. culture, through the window of these conflicting tensions within the field of adult literacy education.
