Realization by Dr. Prashant Kumar Shukla Pdf

"Everything was perfect, at least for him. Now even a message notification would cheer him up, which was of no importance to him before. Now he spent most of his time with his cellphone. From being Mr. Attitude of college, he had transformed into a lover boy. This was something he had never witnessed or experienced before. This was a great feeling, a never-ending warmth in his heart. These new happenings made his life heaven; after all, it was first time he was experiencing love. He had friends who were his life and now, he had someone who was more than a friend to him. He was happy about his decision to be in love. His life was in full pace and the little emptiness of his heart had been filled by this girl, his love. She loved him, he loved her... his gang was with him... what was more that he could ask from God? Everything was beyond perfect to him, unimaginable. However, as usual, expiry dates of good things are too short. It has been a fear in his mind before accepting this new track of life. Because he knew that his heart was too vulnerable to break. How long can he go to save his perfect life? It has been a question that haunts him every night before sleep, and soon comes again as he opens his eyes in the morning. But in the end, it is all about Realization of self, which is the only thing matters most in the life, which he was going to witness, which he will experience. What a true man is and what is the value of realization, this story is all about it. "

Bel-Ami by Guy de Maupassant Pdf

'His rise testifies to the decline of a whole society.' Jean-Paul Sartre Maupassant's second novel, Bel-Ami (1885) is the story of a ruthlessly ambitious young man (Georges Duroy, christened 'Bel-Ami' by his female admirers) making it to the top in fin-de-siècle Paris. It is a novel about money, sex, and power, set against the background of the politics of the French colonization of North Africa. It explores the dynamics of an urban society uncomfortably close to our own and is a devastating satire of the sleaziness of contemporary journalism. Bel-Ami enjoys the status of an authentic record of the apotheosis of bourgeois capitalism under the Third Republic. But the creative tension between its analysis of modern behaviour and its identifiably late nineteenth-century fabric is one of the reasons why Bel-Ami remains one of the finest French novels of its time, as well as being recognized as Maupassant's greatest achievement as a novelist. Drunk-ish by Stefanie Wilder-Taylor Pdf

From the author of Sippy Cups Are Not for Chardonnay, a hilariously candid and refreshingly honest account of Stefanie Wilder-Taylor’s journey to breaking up with alcohol for good. When Stefanie Wilder-Taylor became a mother, being able to connect with other moms over drinks or enjoy a glass of wine at the end of a stressful day felt life-affirming. From liquor cabinet concoctions in high school to tequila shots in her early stand-up comedy days to grocery store wine in young motherhood, alcohol was the seasoning that could give almost any activity more flavor. A drink instantly took the edge off and made even the most difficult adversary (be it a tough crowd in a comedy club or a judgmental PTA mom) not just bearable but fun. As the years go by, Stefanie wonders if her relationship with alcohol is different from other people’s. Is everyone else struggling this hard to moderate? Is it even legal to watch The Bachelor without a glass of white wine? Having spent a lifetime grappling with the question of whether or not she is a “real” alcoholic, one evening brings Stefanie close to the edge of losing it all. Miraculously unscathed, she decides that she doesn’t need to dive all the way down to a stereotypical rock bottom before deciding to stop drinking; if sobriety will improve her life, that’s a good enough reason to quit. Stefanie’s memoir is a tender and funny farewell letter to a beloved but toxic friend.

Now Abides: Faith, Hope, Love by Jerene B. Wright Pdf

For Karsi'hara Two months felt like forever, especially since becoming aware of her prominent gift. She had chosen to become inconspicuous about what was happening to her because she was only able to access that realm as she slept. Having this ability to travel into another place in time was scary enough, not to mention to be able to see and speak with those in that realm. As she was able to overcome the initial shock her abilities began to sharpen more than she could ever imagine. Meeting Jared and his sister and learning that they had the same gift was amazing; she was floored the first time they spoke to one another. It was mind-blowing because neither of them would ever in a thousand years have comprehended such a thing. Lisa has finally awakened, but Jabali has not. Relatives from both sides of the family have just about put their lives on hold, as well as the Henry's who are now working on their marriage. Tony prepares to head back to Japan along with some of the other family members to find out about Jabali's parents, also needing to understand what exactly the shootout at the O'Hare Airport had been all about, what had made all those mothers decide to risk their lives along with their children in such a dramatic way. Upon his arrival in Japan, Tony will meet with his boss Mr. Yao Yamamoto, who will soon find out some horrifying news as well. Together they will potentially get to the bottom of whatever has been going on right under their noses. You will be able to meet members of Kasi'hara's family while learning about how their love for the father has shaped them into some of the warmest and most magnificent people on this planet, seemingly so unreal that it would almost appear unimaginable that they truly exist, I know you will be able to appreciate how God has guided the hands of his people into becoming extraordinary examples of his love and greatness through their faith hope and love for him. Now Abides: Faith, Hope, Love Book 2 gives you not only a glance into another world but also a taste of whom our father the creator of everything really is. So please sit back and let's get started. As always, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Sincerely, Jerene B. Wright 52

Needle and Thread by Derrel "Jack" Tooman Pdf

Christian Rookwood, CEO of Rayfield Industries, the largest clothier in North Carolina, was brutally murdered at his plant early one morning. The police found Christian with a large pair of scissors embedded in his chest, laying neatly on a cutting table with his mouth sewn tightly closed. He was the first prominent victim in Raleigh. Then another, and another. Would these murders ever stop? Mike Whitehouse, Times Investigative Reporter, was given the task of solving these crimes when it became apparent the city police were not taking these murders seriously. The beautiful Police Lt Sally Michaels, officer in charge of the Forensic Division, provided Mike with all the privileges of home, but no substantial clues. Each murder was executed flawlessly. The murderer always had access to the buildings, alarms were disengaged, no incriminating fingerprints were found, and no one saw anyone, or anything. Leaders began accusing each other, and even Mike became a suspect. Would he be the next victim, or the next police scapegoat?

Houston Rap Tapes by Lance Scott Walker Pdf

The neighborhoods of Fifth Ward, Fourth Ward, Third Ward, and the Southside of Houston, Texas, gave birth to Houston rap, a vibrant music scene that has produced globally recognized artists such as Geto Boys, DJ Screw, Pimp C and Bun B of UGK, Fat Pat, Big Moe, Z-Ro, Lil’ Troy, and Paul Wall. Lance Scott Walker and photographer Peter Beste spent a decade documenting Houston’s scene, interviewing and photographing the people—rappers, DJs, producers, promoters, record label owners—and places that give rap music from the Bayou City its distinctive character. Their collaboration produced the books Houston Rap and Houston Rap Tapes. This second edition of Houston Rap Tapes amplifies the city’s hip-hop history through new interviews with Scarface, Slim Thug, Lez Moné, B L A C K I E, Lil’ Keke, and Sire Jukebox of the original Ghetto Boys. Walker groups the interviews into sections that track the different eras and movements in Houston rap, with new photographs and album art that reveal the evolution of the scene from the 1970s to today’s hip-hop generation. The interviews range from the specifics of making music to the passions, regrets, memories, and hopes that give it life. While offering a view from some of Houston’s most marginalized areas, these intimate conversations lay out universal struggles and feelings. As Willie D of Geto Boys writes in the foreword, “Houston Rap Tapes flows more like a bunch of fellows who haven’t seen each other for ages, hanging out on the block reminiscing, rather than a calculated literary guide to Houston’s history.”

Our Daughter: Our Love, Our Light, Our Joy, Our Pleasure, Heart of Our Hearts Forever by Beth Carol Solomon Pdf

This is a story about an adolescent girl, Francine Josephine, who was abused by her mentally ill birth mother and lived in the dregs of society for the first ten years of her life. She found warmth, kindness, and happiness with her foster mother and birth father, who immediately fell in love and married. Though shut off from beauty and loved so little in her childhood, she grew up to be an empathetic, altruistic, sensitive, forgiving, thoughtful, and compassionate young woman. Such rarities this girl possesses at such a tender age. For these attributes are not often found in ordinary everyday people for they do not appreciate what life has to offer and who take God’s gifts for granted. Francine, always believing in the best of all people, always giving them the benefit of the doubt and second chances, always wanting to please everybody and wanting everyone to be happy, is what she happens to be like. Although knowing her parents were estranged from their siblings, it was Francine who brought them together, thus becoming a tight-knit, close, loving family. When she met her paternal grandparents for the first time, she was warm and kind to her grandfather, who was afflicted with dementia and of whom she had no recollection of. As for her grandmother, whom she was named after, she formed a loving and close bond. She is very curious about other people in her parents’ lives that she has never met or who have never knew of her existence but nonetheless thinks of them lovingly and as part of herself and her family. But one day, Social Services informed her that her birth mother wants to see her, which she agrees to do, surmising that maybe this woman had been rehabilitated and was remorseful or at least civil, as it was Francine’s nature to be understanding. Unfortunately, nothing came about as she had hoped, and for that she suffered from it. But afterward, does Francine regress back into her shell after these past few years of getting to love and trust people, or does she grow up and accept what had happened to her during that one fateful encounter and become the fine young woman that everyone who knows her portrays her to be?
