State of Israel. Its Friends and Enemies. Prophetic Future by Alexander Zephyr Pdf

The State of Israel; Its Friends and Enemies. Prophetic Future This is an indispensable work telling us all we need to know on several matters. Discusses various issues succinctly summarizing different schools of thought with their pros and cons. What are the Wars of Gog and Magog? What will cause them? Which forces will be involved? Who and what is the Messiah and the Messianic Age? Will there be a physical Resurrection of the Dead? How old is the earth? Were there humanoid-type beings before us? Jewish and non-Jewish scholarship on all issues is quoted and compared. The author then brings his own opinion and the reasons for it. Whether you are a full-time researcher in this field or just an interested layman you will find in this work information and points of interest of great value. Zephyr is not afraid to face controversy. He brings sources and argues well with passion, eloquence, and conviction. He has carried out a work of serious scholarship with nerve and passion. The writers interest and thirst for knowledge concerning his theme comes bursting through on every page. Today most of the World unjustly goes against the Jews. Anti - Semitism, hatred and racism have reached unprecedented levels. The very survival of the Jewish state of Israel is at stake. All people of good will, who believe in the Bible as the Sacred Word of the Almighty, should make a choice and stand firmly on the side of Israel. That is what God wants them to do. In turn, they will save themselves and help God to advance His Divine Plan for the World-to-Come, which would be absolutely impossible if Israel did not exist. And I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses you: and in you (i.e. Israel) shall all families of the earth be blessed (Genesis 12:3).

Rabbi Akiva, Bar Kokhba Revolt, and the Ten Tribes of Israel by Alexander Zephyr Pdf

Alexander Zephyr is the author of The State of Israel: Its Friends and Enemies. Prophetic Future. Like his previous work, Rabbi Akiva, the Bar Kokhba Revolt and the Ten Tribes of Israel focuses on the fate and destiny of the so-called 'Lost' Ten Tribes of Israel. It is a fascinating and climactic story told with passion, conviction, and extensive knowledge of Scripture, the Talmud, and Rabbinical literature. While the Ten Tribes is a key theme of the book, the main hero is Rabbi Akiva-his life, his students, and particularly his association with Bar Kokhba and the Jewish Revolt of 132-135CE. One of the few rare scholars with the courage to present the authentic story of R. Akiva, Zephyr covers the legendary figure's involvement in the Jewish-Roman war as well as his dramatic and mistaken announcement of Bar Kokhba as the God-chosen Messiah. This book is the story of a massacre of the Jewish people in an unparalleled historical tragedy, the consequences of which are still suffered today. It is also a testament of life-affirming faith in the Scriptural promise of a Messianic Era and the World-to-Come.

Prophecy and Current Events in the Middle East by Chuck Lee Pdf

As the title implies, Prophecy and Current Events in the Middle East: Framing Israels and Americas Future traces Old and New Testament prophetic events beginning with the patriarch Abrams fathering of two sons who form the roots of religions now at war. It details how the fulfillment of these events is impacting the world today and will impact the world in the near future. The book documents ancient prophecies fulfilled through the modern miraclethe nation of Israeland it delves into yet-to-be-fulfilled prophecies of future wars that Israel will be forced to fight. It documents the construction of the third temple, and it examines ancient prophecies of a future tribulation time, Gods hand in Israels survival, and his role in the total destruction of their enemies. The book documents how the prophecies of Old Testament prophets, such as Daniel, Ezekiel, Zechariah, Jeremiah, Joel, Asaph, and Isaiah, correlate perfectly with New Testament prophecies of Jesus and the apostles John, Paul, Peter, and Jude to show Gods power and total control as this present age comes to an end.

Psalm 83: A New Discovery by Alexander Zephyr Pdf

In this remarkable book, Alexander Zephyr reveals the true identities of the nations that will participate in the genocidal conspiracy against Israel described by the Prophet Asaph in Psalm 83. Through extensive research, Zephyr offers biblical scholars and students comprehensive explanations grounded in cogent scholarship on the Scriptures. Geopolitical events have catapulted the Middle East into a battlefield between Israel and its Arab-Muslim neighbors. This war has become a spectacle that command attention on the world stage. Other nations, however, are not merely passive spectators; what happens in the Middle East profoundly affects them regardless of their geographical location. Indeed, perhaps no other conflict is more influential and complicated, or persistent, than that in Israel and specifically in Jerusalem. Israel is also the key to understanding Asaph’s prophecy. In Psalm 83: A New Discovery, Zephyr offers a clear and compelling reading of this prophecy that correctly identifies players of an already unfolding eschatological drama whose script has been divinely written.

Determining the Future's Truth Through Bible Prophecy by Peter Galarza Pdf

Two Persian wars in 1991 and 2003 have inspired the author to write about two more incoming wars according to Bible prophecy, the latter being the war to end all wars- Armageddon. It concerns the Messiah’s return during a time of trouble and turmoil known as the Tribulation. It also comments about our current situation in the world: economics, technology, unbelief, wars, weather patterns, etc. It’s primary villain is the antichrist, who comes to deceive the nations of the world and attacks God’s people. This antichrist is under the control of Satan himself. But the finality of it all is the issuance of a peaceful one-thousand year millennium by the Messiah Himself. The author wants the reading audience to examine themselves to see if they are ready to receive Him (the Son of God), and live eternally with Him.

The Visions of Daniel the Hebrew Prophet by Robert Johns Pdf

For centuries, controversy has raged over the authorship and genuineness of the book of Daniel. Is it an authentic document from the sixth century before the Common Era with a message from God to postexilic Israel; or is it a forged document written centuries later to encourage Israelites being oppressed by the Seleucid king, Antiochus Epiphanes? Robert Johns addresses these issues and more in his thesis on Daniel's visions. Importantly, Johns establishes when Daniel was provided with his visions, and he defines why God provided Daniel with the visions. The Visions of Daniel the Hebrew Prophet examines the metal image, the beast with eleven horns, the Seventy "sevens," chapter eight's little-horn, and the 2,300 evening-mornings. It demonstrates that the enigmatic 1,290 days and 1,335 days are anything but enigmatic, and it identifies the reason why Daniel's fifth and final revelation is so detailed. Appendices address issues of general nature, such as the historicity of Jesus the Christ, the popularity of dispensationalism, the identity of "the abomination that desolates," and the integrity of novels representing the Christian-fiction genre (which focus on a seven-year tribulation period at the end of history). This book will be of value to every Christian who has an interest in Bible prophecy and eschatology.

Dictionary of the Old Testament: Prophets by G MCCONVILLE,MARK J BODA Pdf

The writings of the prophets make up over a quarter of the Old Testament. But perhaps no other portion of the Old Testament is more misunderstood by readers today. For some, prophecy conjures up knotted enigmas, opaque oracles and terrifying visions of the future. For others it raises expectations of a plotted-out future to be reconstructed from disparate texts. And yet the prophets have imprinted the language of faith and imagination with some of its most sublime visions of the future - nations streaming to Zion, a lion lying with a lamb, and endlessly fruiting trees on the banks of a flowing river. We might view the prophets as stage directors for Israel's unfolding drama of redemption. Drawing inspiration from past acts in that drama and invoking fresh words from its divine author, these prophets speak a language of sinewed poetry, their words and images arresting the ear and detonating in the mind. For when Yahweh roars from Zion and thunders from Jerusalem, the pastures of the shepherds dry up, the crest of Carmel withers, and the prophetic word buffets those selling the needy for a pair of sandals. The Dictionary of the Old Testament: Prophets is the only reference book of its kind. Not only does it focus exclusively on the prophetic books; it also plumbs their imagery of mountains and wilderness, flora and fauna, temple and Zion. It maps and guides us through topics such as covenant and law, exile and deliverance, forgiveness and repentance, and the Day of the Lord. Here the nature of prophecy is searched out in its social, historical, literary and psychological dimensions as well as its synchronic spread of textual links and associations. And the formation of the prophetic books into their canonical collection, including the Book of the Twelve, is explored and weighed for its significance. Then too, contemporary approaches such as canonical criticism, conversation analysis, editorial/redaction criticism, feminist interpretation, literary approaches and rhetorical criticism are summed up and assayed. Even the afterlife of these great texts is explored in articles on the history of interpretation as well as on their impact in the New Testament.

The Jews and the Passion for Palestine in the Light of Prophecy by Keith L. Brooks Pdf

IT WOULD be hazardous for anyone to attempt to predict the future of the United States, Great Britain or any of the great nations of today, but one who knows his Bible can predict, in considerable detail, the future of the Jewish people. From beginning to end, this people has had its history already written, and in our day its movements furnish a key with which we may unlock the meaning of world events. Who now doubts that the World War was fought to open the way for the Jew to return to the Holy Land, after long centuries of absence from home? Who doubts that the Great War marked the beginning of the end of the times of the Gentiles? The political world is in a state of utter confusion today. The economic world is a hopeless tangle. Rulers and statesmen in every nation are puzzled and fearful, making a desperate effort to be optimistic. In the midst of all this confusion and uncertainty, we find the Jewish question occupying the front pages of the papers day after day, and in diplomatic circles and halls of government, men are debating over the question of what is to be done about the Jew. Some insist that the Jew is the cause of all humanity’s ills, and give themselves vigorously to the work of spreading propaganda that must ultimately result in open persecution and bloodshed. There are Christians who seem to understand prophecy as teaching that we may expect the Jew, in this age, to enslave the Gentiles and gain a stranglehold upon all nations. There is a pitifully small number who seek to expose the fantastic stories of the Jew-haters and to stem the rising tide of anti-Semitism. Nations affected by Hitlerism, seek to drive the Jews out and at the same time use their best efforts to keep them from getting into Palestine, or to stir up the enmity of the Arabs against those Jews who already have gained entrance to the land. Thus the Jew is everywhere talked about, much lied about, little prayed about. Those who have no knowledge of prophecy foresee the time of “Jacob’s trouble” around the corner. The discerning Bible student knows that the Jews must remain the “tail of the nations” until the millennial age, and see no Scriptural warrant for the fear that designing Jews are shortly to plunge the world into a depression which will place all Gentiles at their mercy. The Author’s earnest prayer is that these chapters may open the eyes of many to the spiritual peril of participation in the persecution of the Jews. God grant that many shall be stirred to “pray for the peace of Jerusalem” and to show every kindness “to the least of these,” our Lord’s brethren according to the flesh, in this hour when they are feeling the birth pains of the nation that is yet to be.

The Modern State of Israel and Biblical Prophecy by S. K. Haddad Pdf

The Modern State of Israel explores the lot of the Jewish people in their dispersion in the world for the past two thousand years. After their persecution and their expulsion from many nations, their desire to establish a home of their own, where they can rule themselves and not be the subjects of their overlords, is understandable. It is believed by many Christians that the State of Israel is an absolute necessity for the strategic and longterm determination of world events. It is said that the Bible provides support for their case. Events such as the coming of the Antichrist and the battle of Armageddon cannot take place without Israel. Christ, consequently, cannot return to establish the Millennium. Why did God choose Abraham as his seed and why did he give them land? e answer to this question is of tremendous importance, for upon it hang the doctrines of future events. In this thoroughly researched review of Israel, past and present, S. K. Haddad hopes to show whether Israel has a biblical role in future world events or not. Salim Khalil Haddad was born in Palestine of Lebanese parents. He studied Medicine and Surgery at the universities of Cambridge and London and later specialised in Neurosurgery. He lives in Wales, UK.

T. A. Pruett's Commentary on Old Testament Prophets by T. A. Pruett Pdf

Having led an online Bible Study for many years, I began compiling my notes initially as a legacy to leave to my children. As I have continued to refine my notes through the research, it is my desire and prayer that the thoughts compiled help each person deepen their understanding of God’s Love Letter we call the Bible and enrich their individual relationship with our Creator - God the Father.
