India In 2107 A.D. by Surya Pdf

The story of this novel revolves around the main protagonist named Jiang Rudd of Indian Citizenship. Although, Jiang's parentage is of American Chinese origin, but he is a contemporary Indian of the 22nd Century. Jiang is a man of extra-ordinary character and noticeable qualities and these noticeable qualities get him into very unusual situations, which he handles in his own unique styles. Story in the novel reveals life and activities of Jiang. Therefore, as we move on to read the novel, the story would uncover Jiang's adventure, mis-adventure, love, sex, faithfulness, betrayal, passion, skills, concocted ambition (yes it's concocted) and knowledge. The story is based on the future, where you can see future in bits and pieces. Jiang would be the cynosure of this novel, but this novel fleetingly deals with India's hypothetical future (obviously, it's the picture of writer's free floating thought process & hallucination). To tell things in brief, a future, which is prosperous for few and for the rest, it is still challenging, in-fact quite miserable. Though it is out of my wild imagination, but even in the wilderness, it is invoking us what we may do and what we may avoid to do in coming years to take India to the position where it actually deserves.

Indian Antiquary by Anonim Pdf

"At a time when each Society had its own medium of propogation of its researches ... in the form of Transactions, Proceedings, Journals, etc., a need was strongly felt for bringing out a journal devoted exclusively to the study and advancement of Indian culture in all its aspects. [This] encouraged Jas Burgess to launch the 'Indian antiquary' in 1872. The scope ... was in his own words 'as wide as possible' incorporating manners and customs, arts, mythology, feasts, festivals and rites, antiquities and the history of India ... Another laudable aim was to present the readers abstracts of the most recent researches of scholars in India and the West ... 'Indian antiquary' also dealt with local legends, folklore, proverbs, etc. In short 'Indian antiquary' was ...entirely devoted to the study of MAN - the Indian - in all spheres ... " -- introduction to facsimile volumes, published 1985.

Return of the Surya by K.K. Sinha,Himanshi Tiwari Pdf

This book attempts to look at future of technology and need of HR to reorient its philosophy and practices required to build a greater and a better tomorrow, through the views and experiences of a large number of technocrats and leaders, HR practitioners, academicians, business experts, bureaucrats and trade unionists. We have always been overwhelmed by the grandeur of the Sun. The all-powerful, merciful, the creator of our solar system and all lives on our planet. The Surya is the soul of all creations. He is always there with us, around us and is so merciful! We take Him for granted and remain generally unmindful of Him. The world however, has been mostly depending for its increasing needs of energy on fossil fuel, realising now thankfully that this is becoming a major threat to environment and all lives. This realisation has been now driving the globe to be putting greater reliance on renewable sources of energy including the wind, hydro and primarily the Sun. The entire energy value chain is likely to see significant disruption in the coming years and decades. India, which is at an evolving stage in its growth story, promises many opportunities for energy players. The ambitious megaprojects, launched by the Country are likely to drive higher energy consumption. The new thrust on nonconventional and renewable sources of energy has been radically altering the dynamics of the power sector. HR will therefore, have a very important role in understanding energy solutions for the future and it will have to reinvent itself continually to meet the challenges of a technology-driven future, while ensuring not to lose sight of the 'human' aspect of organisation and culture. HR also has to be harnessing its natural capability to be future ready. While technologists and scientists from all over the world are looking for the most green and renewable sources of energy, solar may well emerge as the best substitute for fossil fuels over short time. It could probably allow humans to happily coexist with the flora and fauna, while making the most efficient use of technology. Let us value and celebrate the return of the Surya to make a better world!
