The Celestial Key to the Vedas by B. G. Sidharth Pdf

Astronomer B. G. Sidharth shows that the earliest portions of the Rig Veda can be dated as far back as 10,000 B.C. He provides evidence that "advanced" astronomical concepts such as precession and heliocentrism are encoded in the Vedas, which make complete sense only if these astronomical keys are known.

The Arctic Home in the Vedas by Bal Gangadhar Tilak Pdf

Drawing upon his vast knowledge of the Hindu Vedas and the Zoroastrian Avesta, Tilak makes a painstakingly detailed analysis of the texts and compares them with the geological, astronomical, and archaeological evidence to show the plausibility of the Arctic having been the primordial cradle of the Aryan race before changing conditions forced the Aryans southward into present-day Europe, Iran, and India.

Mysteries and Discoveries of Archaeoastronomy by Giulio Magli Pdf

The book is divided into two parts. In the first, the reader is taken on an ideal ‘world tour’ of many wonderful and enigmatic places in almost every continent, in search of traces of astronomical knowledge and lore of the sky. In the second part, Giulio Magli uses the elements presented in the tour to show that the fundamental idea which led to the construction of the astronomically-related giant monuments was the foundation of power, a foundation which was exploited by ‘replicating’ the sky. A possible interpretive model then emerges that is founded on the relationship the ancients had with “nature”, in the sense of everything that surrounded them, the cosmos. The numerous monumental astronomically aligned structures of the past then become interpretable as acts of will, expressions of power on the part of those who held it; the will to replicate the heavenly plane here on earth and to build sacred landscapes. Finally, having formulated his hypothesis, Professor Magli returns to visit one specific place in detail, searching for proof. This in-depth examination studies the most compelling, the most intensively studied, the most famous and, until recently, the most misunderstood sacred landscape on the planet - Giza, in Egypt. The archaeoastronomical analysis of the orientation of the Giza pyramids leads to the hypothesis that the pyramids of Cheops and Chephren belong to the same construction project.

The Yugas by Joseph Selbie,David Steinmetz Pdf

Millions are wondering what the future holds for mankind, and if we are soon due for a world-changing global shift. Paramhansa Yogananda (author of the classic Autobiography of a Yogi) and his teacher, Sri Yukteswar, offered key insights into this subject. They presented a fascinating explanation of the rising and falling eras that our planet cycles through every 24,000 years. According to their teachings, we have recently passed through the low ebb in that cycle and are moving to a higher age—an Energy Age that will revolutionize the world. Over one hundred years ago Yukteswar predicted that we would live in a time of extraordinary change, and that much that we believe to be fixed and true—our entire way of looking at the world — would be transformed and uplifted. In The Yugas, authors Joseph Selbie and David Steinmetz present substantial and intriguing evidence from the findings of historians and scientists that demonstrate the truth of Yukteswar’s and Yogananda’s revelations.

Leadership and Temporality by Armin Klesing Pdf

The objective of this book is to introduce a new theory of leadership. Traditionally, leadership is understood as the ability of charismatic personalities to create a following and to achieve significant results against great odds. This study takes a different point of departure. Author Armin Klesing asks two questions: How can the response behavior to events be calibrated through the right persons, and what does it take to actively create a new budget? This leads to the elegant concept of “temporality of leadership,” which describes the proper calibration of societies, cultures, states, businesses, armies, and whatever else lends itself to be described as a time-dependent chain process in fields of dynamic perturbations. The author blends philosophy, self-development, history, current affairs, and business building to describe the potential implications of this novel approach.

Indian Women in Leadership by Rajashi Ghosh,Gary N. McLean Pdf

This book provides intriguing insights into the development of highly qualified women leaders in diverse Indian contexts and their role at national and organizational levels. While India has made enormous economic strides in the past few decades, gender inequality and underutilization of female talent remain deeply rooted and widely spread in many parts of Indian society. This book addresses an urgent need to stop treating Indian women as under-developed human capital and begin realizing their potential as leaders of quality work. This book will fill the gap of research on international leadership for students, academics, and multinational organizations.

The Apocalypse of Enoch and Bhuśunda The Apocalypse of Enoch and Bhuśunda challenges the underlying assumptions of the classical roots of civilization by restoring the original context of creation mythology. In this second volume of A Chronology of the Primeval Gods and the Western Sunrise, ancient myths from multiple geographies are correlated to spikes in cosmic rays over the past 120,000 years – as documented in ice core data. The chronology and content of these myths tell us that the primary forces behind these cataclysms were the most ancient gods - hyper-nova at the Galactic Center associated with Sgr A*(The Dragon), Sgr West (The Beast) and Sgr East (Hiranyâksha and Hiranyakas'ipu), with secondary supernova seen as the birth of new, destructive gods. Ancient myth has documented the cataclysmic destruction of the world on at least twenty occasions with four major geo-polar migrations, which has resulted in a shift of the earth’s equator on at least one occasion. Multiple myths are shown to represent a view of the sky that can only be seen from the Antarctic region. Multiple versions of the myths of Orion are analyzed, showing clear linkages between the Vedic myth of Trisanku, the Book of Genesis, Senmut's Tomb, and the myths of Prajāpati Daksa representing the oldest version of the Orion myth – older than Trishanku and Genesis by 20,000 years! The stunning conclusion explains how the “Watchers” of Enoch were the Vedic descendants of Ila and Iksvaku. These descendants of the seventh Manu had been observing and recording the stars as a source of cataclysm for at least 15,000 years prior to Enoch, thus allowing Enoch to prophesize a ‘new heaven.’ That prophecy became the foundation for St John’s Book of Revelations, which is shown to be a description of a series of cataclysms attributed to Sgr West. The book offers a new theory for explaining geo-polar migration. That theory suggests small shifts in the location of the earth’s center of gravity underlie each migration, but that there are multiple causes for the shifts.

A measure of the Self by Hari Prasad Bangalore Pdf

The whole Creation is a spiritual system. How to understand this. “Life has to be lived forward but understood backward”. In this Creation, everything leads to something. That something leads to something further. That something significant leads us to something Ultimate. But the sure way to lose sight of spirituality in the Creation is to take everything for granted. That’s how we lost sight of valuable clues already. The rarest miracle is to be born as an awakened human being. Science is required for the welfare of the world and spirituality is required for the wellbeing of mankind. Human beings need to be guided very responsibly. We have to inquire into the spiritual dimension of Creation by serious contemplation, even while science is on a romantic trip with cognizable phenomena. Simple awareness takes us to a higher pedestal of awakening - a hyper-awareness. This is awakening. Ordinarily, we lead to three kinds of lives. One-the life we want to lead; two - the life we are leading; three - the life we should be leading. Through Sadhana, we can narrow the gap and make life and more purposeful. God limits Himself to the limits of our understanding.

Rukmini and the Turning of Time by Dena Merriam Pdf

The main story of Rukmini and the Turning of Time takes place before, during and after the Mahabharata War, an event that marked the ending of one era and the beginning of another – a time when spiritual knowledge was decreasing but material development increasing. The story begins in the ancient city of Dwarka, India and is told through the voice of a dancer of that time. It is a story about Rukmini, who is said to be the rebirth of Mata Sita, both of whom are avatars of the great deity Narayani. Although Rukmini is the consort of the much beloved Bhagavan Krishna, her story has been lost in time, but it is essential now to recall her as the energy and presence of the divine female incarnations is so critical for the healing and evolution of human society. As with all of Dena Merriam’s books, this story explores the complex and wondrous workings of cause and effect, the law of karma, as it guides and shapes our lives. But it is also a story of love, one that transcends time and place and that persists from one incarnation to the next. As we leave one form and take another through the laws of rebirth, we bring with us our love, the relationships that have left deep impressions and that have helped in our awakening. This tale follows the dancer of Dwarka through a series of rebirths, as she unknowingly carries with her the love and teachings of Rukmini, who patiently and silently guides her evolution. It is a story that applies to each one of us, because we all participate in this great cosmic dance of love as the illusion of time keeps turning.
