The Heresy of Jehovah's Witnesses by H.H. Pope Shenouda III Pdf

Jehovah’s Witnesses are not Christians. Although they believe in the New Testament, it is their own incorrect translation that is misconstrued to suit their beliefs. They do not call themselves Christians, but ‘Jehovah’s Witnesses’ - ‘Jehovah’ being a name of God used in the Old Testament. Their doctrine regarding the Lord Jesus Christ is completely different to the Christian doctrine; it is a mixture of the heresy of Arius, and other new heresies. They have even reached a level much worse than that of Arius by far. Many governments have expelled Jehovah’s Witnesses from their countries because they sensed the danger which they presented to the country’s general peace. Therefore, it can be said that they do not only propagate false religious beliefs, but they also propagate dangerous political ideas. As they say that the Church is a product of the devil, they also say that governments are a product of the devil, and encourage people not to enter the armed forces. They also consider saluting the flag as idolatry. Jehovah’s Witnesses do not believe in the immortality of the soul and say that this is the teaching of the devil. They also say that after a person dies, he lives happily in the ‘earthly paradise’, thus contradicting all the promises of the heavenly kingdom. This booklet is merely a collection of articles that were published in the ‘El-Keraza’ English magazine, and which we considered publishing and distributing as an introduction to the upcoming book. Gospelbound by Collin Hansen,Sarah Eekhoff Zylstra Pdf

A profound exploration of how to hold on to hope when our unchanging faith collides with a changing culture, from two respected Christian storytellers and thought leaders. “Offers neither spin control nor image maintenance for the evangelical tribe, but genuine hope.”—Russell Moore, president of ERLC As the pressures of health warnings, economic turmoil, and partisan politics continue to rise, the influence of gospel-focused Christians seems to be waning. In the public square and popular opinion, we are losing our voice right when it’s needed most for Christ’s glory and the common good. But there’s another story unfolding too—if you know where to look. In Gospelbound, Collin Hansen and Sarah Eekhoff Zylstra counter these growing fears with a robust message of resolute hope for anyone hungry for good news. Join them in exploring profound stories of Christians who are quietly changing the world in the name of Jesus—from the wild world of digital media to the stories of ancient saints and unsung contemporary activists on the frontiers of justice and mercy. Discover how, in these dark times, the light of Jesus shines even brighter. You haven’t heard the whole story. And that’s good news.

30 Years a Watchtower Slave by William J. Schnell Pdf

At first, the Watchtower Society seemed harmless to William J. Schnell, even valuable as a way to develop his faith in God and pass it on to others. This book is Schnell's fascinating account of his involvement with the cult, which effectively enticed him in the 1920s and continues to lure countless individuals today. Readers will learn, as Schnell did, that the Jehovah's Witness religion he had joined was anything but innocent. For thirty years he was enslaved by one of the most totalitarian religions of our day, and his story of finally becoming free is riveting. Readers will be alerted to the inner machinations, methods, and doctrines of the Watchtower Society, arming them to forewarn others and witness to their Jehovah's Witness friends, relatives, neighbors, and the stranger at the door. With more than 300,000 copies sold, 30 Years a Watchtower Slave is truly one of the classic testimonies of freedom from a powerful cult.

The Forgotten Trinity by James R. White Pdf

While many of us struggle to understand it, the Trinity is one of the most important teachings of the Christian faith. It defines God's very essence and describes how he relates to us. And while it can be a difficult concept to get our heads around, it is crucial for believers to understand how God explains his triune nature in his Word. In this book, James R. White offers a concise, understandable explanation of what the Trinity is and why it matters. While refuting the distortions of God presented by various cults, Dr. White shows how understanding this teaching leads to renewed worship and a deeper understanding of what it means to be a Christian. And amid today's emphasis on the renewing work of the Holy Spirit, The Forgotten Trinity is a balanced look at all three persons of the Trinity. May this book deepen your understanding of this important doctrine while also drawing you closer to the triune God himself.
