Tibor Fias had lost his wife in a house fire, and his three babies had died in their infancy. He insisted on marrying Helen shortly after they met, and adopting her daughter and two sons. Eventually another son and daughter were born to them, rounding out their family. The Life of a Freedom Fighter is her latest endeavor, relating the exciting experiences of her husband's life in Hungary that ended with his bringing his young bride with him to the United States, after the Hungarian Revolution in 1956 was lost. He lived a fascinating life, full of intrigue, danger, romance and wars. His story captivates his audiences, with them encouraging him to put it into print.
