This volume probes practical dilemmas and competing re- search perspectives in environmental policy analysis. Women in the developed world expect to work in the labour force over the course of their lives. Human dependence on technology has increased exponentially over the past several centuries, and so too has the notion that we can fix environmental problems with scientific applications.
